What siren is this?
No problem, let me know if you do find it. That's a keeper. Seattle/Tacoma and Cincinnati area sirens are my favorites.

Few Questions About the Fuel Mods
Oh, and what if you get into a taxi and have it drive you around instead? I wonder if that drains your fuel gage. lol

Few Questions About the Fuel Mods
Have you considered trying that? lol Try sprinting all around Liberty City for a while and see what happens. I'd die laughing if that were the case.

Odd Car Model Problem, Could Use Some Help
Well, I know they replace the Bobcat on the civilian version, so mabe the 'PolPatriot' settings wont work? No idea why that would be. I can try resetting those values later on and see how they work (it's about midnight now, so I'm not up to it atm). Never done that before, myself. *EDIT* Okay it looks like it was indeed the handling settings, thanks. Only thing is now it handles more like a sports car instead of an SUV (I own a Trailblazer so the authors settings are BS) and now the model sometimes applies the skin and sometimes doesn't (which I can seem to fix by cycling through cars again). Now the only thing I'm turly concerned with is that the metallic parts (the rims, the roof rack, the ram bar) are all dark blue, rather than black. I dunno what the hell this guy was thinking when he released this... I love the model, but good god.

What siren is this?
The Cincinnati & Norwood Ohio Police departments use that on their CVPI's currently. I recognize it by the sound. Example: [media=] You'll hear the distinctive yelp around 1:06. The one in this video sounds more like the 2nd example Raggio posted, although the first is a good substitute.

Odd Car Model Problem, Could Use Some Help
For whatever reason, the last couple of Chevy Trailblazer models I have tried give me this problem: [media=] I love everything about that one, except the glitch. I think I've seen this problem before but I can't for the life of me remember what the solution is. And don't tell me it's the model. lol I've seen this model used just fine before, there are YouTube videos of it, that's how I found it. I also searched the forum and Google for a solution and couldn't find one. So, any ideas? Looks like I found the guy who made it too; http://lmaster.rxfly.net/ "LMaster". The video on YouTube of it also has a comment on it claiming the same thing I am. I've also tried a civilian model of the same truck to see of it has the same issues, and indeed it does. *EDIT* Could someone merge this post with my last one by the way? Sorry about doubling up.

Anybody willing to help me ??? please look
I don't know what you mean, even with the video in full screen. Nothing looks unusual about that.

If LCPDFR was invited as a Game Feature on GTAV
Yes it does. Epic Games releases an SDK with each engine in a timely manner.

police chase
You could probably use the litter animation on the passenger or drive while going along. You'd have to pretend that it's crack or something. lol Also, I love that movie.

Bait Car!
I tried it. The only time I saw a car stolen is when I was traveling back to my CVPI after busting someone else. I had just climbed into my car and was about to put it into drive when some mexican gang-banger tried to rip me out of my cruiser and take off with it! Needless to say I pulled him back out, tased him and arrested him. lol Then later on, some guy bumped into me on foot, supposedly took my $1000 and then tried to shoot me to death. I pulled out my pistol and returned the favor. Dropped him, took back my money and kept walking. Kinda fun kinda not. Hopefully someone in this community reading this thread will make a version of this that will allow pullovers and suspects to surrender.

Haha check this out! :P
Well, that's still considered an exotic, technically. I could always go find a Mustang/Camaro or something, dust it off and give it a body kit and some rims and then participate. Or I could always modify my current SUV. I remember seeing a couple of modded SUV's on Jackass during the Gumball 3000 segment.

First 2013 Ford Police Interceptor
lol @ the fact the chief has it and he won't drive it as much as a patrolman. Oh well. That's capitalism for you. Give the guys who don't do much work all the expensive crap.

[MOD] - Pedestrians Urinate In The Street!
I wonder if one of the animations would break the other. I know sometimes the drunk ped animation breaks the handcuffed one.

[MOD] - Pedestrians Urinate In The Street!
I'd love to see a ped try and take a piss while you frisk him. lol

New LCPD skins [WIP]
Not bad. I'd probably offer it in different colors if I were you, as red isn't really a police color usually.

If LCPDFR was invited as a Game Feature on GTAV
I wouldn't imagine it would be redone completely from scratch, as they're using the same core game engine. Think of it in terms of the Unreal engine. There have been many games in the Unreal series, and many more developed using that engine, but the mods can be roughly ported over with some work. So if we cross our fingers and pray maybe the same will be true of LCPD:FR. I guess in this case however, the mod may have to be re-named entirely.

Bait Car!
Yeah the other one mentioned didn't work, but I was curious if anybody tried criminal acts to see if it would work. I'm going to try it myself pretty soon.
-
police chase
Not that this juncture, no, but the dev team is considering a lot of new possibilities.
-
Bait Car!
Will the criminal acts script AI allow pullovers? Or do they not respond when you hit SHIFT?

Legal Vehicle Requirements In USA
Yes, it varies from state to state, but if the goal is to create this for LCPD:FR, remember that Liberty City is supposed to be a parody of New York, so maybe going by the laws in New York state would be best. Where I used to live for many years in New Hampshire, they are one of the few states that do not require insurance, which is very unusual. Most other states make you have it. I also find states not requiring vehicle inspections a little odd since it helps keep safety hazards off the roads. But hey, I don't run any of the states so I guess I can only give my two cents. Anyway, to give you an idea of what was required in NH during one of my ride alongs: -Cars from within the state of NH must have a rear and front license plate visible, with stickers on each one, up to date. -Out of state cars do not have to abide by this law. As an example; in Massachusetts, no front plate is required and inspection stations only put the updated sticker on the back plate. -Cars must be inspected anually, and if they fail inspection, they don't get a sticker. Simple as that. -Placement of the windshield sticker will varry. NH has their sticker below the rear view mirror, MA has theirs at the lower drivers side corner of the windshield. -Rear plate light must be visible so the plate is readable at night (in GTA IV, a couple of the beat up cars have license plates that aren't very legible, although plate lights do not exist in game as far as I know). -Plates cannot be bent or hanging loose to one side. -Excessively thick window tint can get you pulled over. -Glowing lights underneath cars are banned in NH, certain colors of lights located on any spot of the vehicle will get you pulled over. NH is not rice racer friendly. -Headlights, tail lights, brake lights and signal lights must all be working. You will get pulled over for a fix-it ticket if one is out. If you get it fixed within a certain amount of time listed on the ticket (I believe it's 3 days), and you bring it to court, the fine will be dropped. -You are not required to have insurance on a vehicle, but it is recommended. -You must have a current registration with you at all times. -If your state requires vehicle insurance, and you do not have it with you while driving, you are not allowed to drive period. You will be asked to step out of the car, and you will have to get it towed. -You must have a current drivers license with you at all times. If you are driver without a license who is learning, you may drive if you have a passenger that is 20 years old or over. -Until you have your license for 6 months, you may not ride with more than one person in the car unless they are blood relatives (this would be extremely hard to prove or disprove so this law is largely ignored). -If you get a ticket within a certain amount of time after you get your license, you will get it suspended for 6 months. I had a friend who was extremely angry over this, but he got caught doing 85 on the highway. His fault. -There is no tolerance for DUI/DWI and there are sobriety checkpoints during the summer at busy locations. -Sales tax is determined by the state. NH has none, MA has 6.25%, ME has around 6.5% last I checked, etc, etc. If you can prove you bought your car out of state, and you bring it to the DMV/RMV you do not have to pay the sales tax. -Registration can be extremely expensive depending on how new and how large the vehicle is. -Insurance is typically extremely expensive for an individual until you hit age 25 unless you are under a family plan and you are not the primary driver. Again, not required in NH, but is in most states. -If you are visiting in a state that requires insurance and your home state does not require it, you are not breaking the law. A lot of people have misunderstood that and have even ran from the police because of it. I forget how many points on your licenses do what, but again it will vary state by state. That's about all I can think of for now. Other guys on here who regularly wear a uniform to work (*hint hint*) can probably elaborate on any of the things I said if necessary.

hey all!
I think you're refering to Bailey23. A Sheriff's Deputy (Bailey23) is different than a State Trooper, FYI, but he gives solid advice usually.

Haha check this out! :P
Isn't that the Gumball 3000? If not, I know there are a few other races like it. Traveling from state to state or in some cases country to country. I wish I had a sports car for that. That would be one hell of a road trip. I love how the last cop is shooting a cell phone video which I'm pretty sure you're not lawfully allowed to do while driving in most states. lol Heh, good times.
