Adminstrators quest/ Opinions?
Names are indeed randomly generated, so no, this wouldn't work all that well on a multiplayer scale. There could probably be something programmed for LCPD:FR at the beginning of each gameplay session to have a series of wanted people (let's say 10) that you could refer back to on your squad car computer via a new option in the menu. That would work for an individual player. But, there's already a warrant system (if you can call it that) in the game. That being said, we're not taking suggestions anymore because there is too much on the developers plates right now, hence why the section is locked.

Regarding Pursuits and AI Backup
That's your problem right there. If you use high polygon count car mods without any sort of traffic moderation mod, then you'll get almost nothing but taxis, gang cars depending on what region you're in, and police cars. TrafficFlow helps to diversify the traffic you get (to a degree). That being said, I've never had that many AI cars aid me, ever, even before I knew about TrafficFlow. I've had probably about a dozen at the very most.

Realistic Weapon Damage
That would take away the fun part for me. lol The NOOSE ambush mission (don't ask me where in the city it takes place) as an example gave me a ridiculously hard time during normal play on XBOX 360. It's in some disheveled old brick building somewhere that's been demolished.

Needs help w/ getting GTA IV working with all Mods
Sorry, but G17 doesn't support other mods being used with the game, as they can make LCPD:FR unstable. You run them at your own risk. You can try the 'mods' section of this forum and see if one of the community members will help you troubleshoot this. By what you're telling us though, it sounds as though you'll have to re-install the game and start from scratch (unless you made a backup of all of the files you changed first). For future reference, you cannot save any game with LCPD:FR activated, period. You also cannot start any mission while in LCPD:FR. You'd have to activate the mission first, then start up LCPD:FR to play through it as a cop. Good luck.

Realistic Weapon Damage
Using a balistics gel target the shape and size of a human, the rounds do two very different things. There was a show on the Military Channel in the U.S. that went over it. The AK round is big, and will has good stopping power. It will knock you off of your feet. Compared to an M16 or M4A1 with a smaller round, the M16 or M4A1 round is designed to penetrate body armor and then spin after it breaches the skin, causing more internal damage to a human target. It is not designed to punch throufh reinforced surfaces. It's going to depend on the armor itself. I wouldn't expect a local officer's armor to be military grade, but it can stop point blank shots from 9mm and .45 caliber rounds in most cases. The best way to get around a bullet proof vest if you're an attacker is to aim slightly lower or slightly higher than the area the vest covers. Unfortunately for America's finest, it doesn't cover their entire body. And there are of course armor piercing rounds you can 'obtain'. Hunting rifle rounds can also be stopped by a bullet proof vest that a cop would wear. An M16 or an AK47 would likely punch through it, but not military grade kevlar, at least not for a few shots, especially with the clay padding the U.S. military is starting to add to the outside of the vest.

[BLOOPER] The LCPD needs to be....retrained
There's a difference between extending them and being a grandma. lol You can always give his bumper a couple of pursuasive "taps" every now and then to let the driver know you're on his ass if you don't want to put him one minute in. Generally speaking though, pursuits don't last very long in the real world. L.A. freeway chases would be the major exception to that rule.

Bullying
Not to knock the harrassment in "your day", but access to weapons is easier to get than ever, the internet exists in nearly every home now so people can sling mud anywhere and everywhere and spread it world wide, and electronics such as cameras are in everyones pocket. Ever see the viral video of the bus monitor who got insulted by the bunch of little kids? if you watch the news in the U.S., I know you did. That video went viral on sites like YouTube, and that's why people knew about it at all. Anytime before the mid to late 90's, that incident would have gotten just about 'zip' attention from anyone. Today, the lady got thousands of dollars to go on vacation. That never would have happened in the days before the internet (yes I'm aware DARPA created the internet as a means of U.S. military communication in 1984, don't message me about it).

A lot of Massachusetts State Trooper cars are filthy in real life, I'm sorry to say. New Hampshire State Troopers tend to take better care of their uniforms and cars. They might be stricter, who knows. Good dashcam look, you didn't seem to be in that much of a hurry to catch the guy. I understand if you're trying to restrain yourself though.

Realistic Weapon Damage
You can also play LCPD:FR in Hardcore mode. Just an FYI though, if the person is wearing body armor, a lot of those rounds are going to be stopped dead in their tracks. Police body armor can stop the rounds of all of those weapons you mentioned with the exception of the M4A1 carbine and some sniper rifles (depending on the round). AK rounds are large, but don't have the penetration an M4A1 or M16 has. Military grade body armor can protect even better.

Bullying
I'm going to have to disagree with you there and say that it depends on the person, and is in most cases NOT a good influence. In fact two of the worlds most despised and ruthless people to ever live on this planet were beaten up by their fathers and other kids regularly during their childhoods. Their names were Adolf Hitler, and Josef Stalin. Physical violence and verbal threatening and belittling can have horrible psychological consequences to a developing mind.

computer help
It won't run it period because it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. You might be able to get it to boot up but it will look and play like garbage, load times will be horrible, you'll be dealing with a crappy plastic mouse with a bad reading laser, etc. If you're looking to game; realistically, you'll be spending a minimum of around $700-800 on the tower alone, never mind a monitor and all of that crap if it's a new PC you're getting for the purpose of running games at high detail levels. And to chime in on the post above mine, the amount of RAM on the graphics card won't make much of an impact for you if it's at 1GB or above already. More RAM on the card helps with larger screens, but if you're running a dinky 20" LCD that would come with that slimline tower, then it's going to waste. 1GB is fine, 2 will future proof you, but at a high cost.

How many bought GTA IV just for this mod?
I bought GTA IV for XBOX 360 as soon as I could after release (I wasn't "made of money" back then). When unpacking some stuff from a delivery truck that came to my store, I found a copy of GTA IV for PC which I wasn't aware had been released yet. I got it for the purpose of seeing the better graphics and the possibility of mods. LCPD:FR didn't exist back then, so no, I didn't buy it for that. But it's a large part of why I still play it now.

Who Plays This?
Been a largely avid PC gamer since the mid 1990's when I was taught by my grandfather to put together a desktop computer. In the year 1998, I discovered and instantly fell in love with a game called Need For Speed III: Hot Pursuit. You could either be an illegal street racer or a cop who chases the exotic super cars down and stops them. I loved the 2nd option far more and played the game endlessly throughout each version. I also took to the modding of cars in the game to put in extra ones not available originally. Christmas 2001; I received a Playstation 2 from my uncle with a copy of Grand Theft Auto III. Once again, i was hooked and played the game a ton. As PC versions of the GTA games came out, I snapped up each one I could, both for a more 'precisely controlled' play experience, and the modded car potential. One day upon searching for some YouTube videos about GTA IV, I stumbled upon some demonstration videos of LCPD:FR and Police Pursuit Mod. I was attracted especially to the videos on the 'NBGamingVids' channel, and decided to check out the mod for myself. I downloaded it, learned to add in my own cars and skins, became an avid community member, made videos, and swiftly rose to be a LCPD:FR internal tester. My background in video gaming and computer technologies helped qualify me for the spot, and I think it's been a good tester to developer relationship as far as pointing out glitches, pitching suggestions and trading feedback. My personal occupation is computer sales. I attended college briefly for graphic design, and took a year of computer programming, plus a semester of data-basing. I've done ride along work with a department of my previous home town, have applied for two citizens police academies, and am looking into an Auxiliary department about an hour or so away from where I live now (wish me luck).

Bullying
Please do yourself a favor and don't fall in with a bad crowd for the sake of fitting in. Idiots can get you in trouble, reputation or not. If you dig yourself a hole with people who "gave up" on their lives, you risk being dragged down with them. As an example, let's say you hang with a "ghetto" friend in a car. He might be the type of douche bag to have weed on him and not tell you. A cop pulls you over, finds it, and your friend won't admit to it. Guess what? You both get charged with it. It's called constructive possession. That eliminates a job as a law enforcement officer or another government agency job right there. If it was something else that was more deadly, or something that was in a large quantity; guess what? It's a felony. Now there are a ton of jobs you can't get, and some colleges may even deny you admission. Go against the curve if you have to, be a dick about getting in the car with retard friends if you have to. Your priority in life as you're growing up needs to be 'looking out for numero uno' (you).

Best Police Chase I've Ever Seen
I agree it was very dangerous. It's a judgement call as to whether to terminate the pursuit or not, and if so; when to terminate it. The officer chose to continue. He did show restraint in a few parts of the video however at a lot of the intersections and busy traffic areas, and he certainly did not go for a pit. I still applaud his driving skill, despite the dangers. Luckily nobody got injured.

Best iphone 4s stuff
The iPhone 5 shouldn't be $400 with a new contract unless you get the 32 or 64gb model or something like that. A 16 should be $200 with a new contract. The OS isn't what makes the iPhone 5 a lot better. It's faster, has a bigger screen, it's thinner, better graphics chip, better battery life generally, better camera, has 4G LTE internet speeds which is a significant upgrade by itself, more durable due to the new Gorilla Glass 2, Thunderbolt port, and it will support iOS 7 where as the 4s may or may not. The way I see it, you have a 2 year contract to go through, so you should get the best phone you can so you can milk its resources and not be disappointed after only one year of us. My phone still has a couple of advantages over the iPhone 5, and it will be 1 year old in November. I can renew next August/September.

AlienWare
Alienware's fine in my book. It's overpriced, but all custom ordered machines are, whether it's Alienware, Falcon Northwest, Voodoo PC, or even basic vanilla machines from companies like Apple, HP and Sony. The cable management (and therefore air flow) is way better than anything I can manage myself, it comes with a good warranty (with options for an extended warranty that covers more things) and has tech support. I build my own stuff to save money, but I'm not an expert factory builder, and I have to be my own tech support. I chose my path and I'm happy with it, but others need custom built machines. Alienware is one of the better companies to do it with, but it wouldn't be my first choice. They're the first name that comes to everyone's mind through, and they have brand power after being bought out by Dell.

What do you REALLY think about Police?
People from my generation were largely ones with crappy attitudes about a lot of things, the police included. And now, those people are having kids, passing their crappy attitudes onto their children and making things worse. To sum up my thoughts, based on actual insight into the job (as opposed getting a traffic ticket and fighting in court and losing because you're an idiot driver and can't obey a stop sign): -I think I respect the police, what they do, what they risk by doing it, and the effect it has on our community. -I think for every bad cop, there are 10 good ones. -I think people associate police with simply taking people to jail, fining them money and taking away peoples drugs and alcohol. -I think anyone who's been on the receiving end of a domestic violence scenario, been robbed, had their car stolen or even simply locked their keys in the car gain a whole new perspective of the police in a matter of moments. And suddenly their job is valuable to them again. To reiterate, and to sum things up, I think my generation is a bunch of whiny hypocrites, and society's views on what they're entitled to will only go downhill from here. If anyone here is thinking of becoming a police officer, I don't think you can do it for the thanks you get anymore. Do it for the feeling you get by helping out victims, your sense of self satisfaction and sense of self worth, and the better sleep you get at night.

Script idea:special car adder
I'm sure he'll like the principle of the idea, but from what I understand he's working pretty feverishly with the latest build of LCPD:FR, I don't know if he'll have the time for it. GTA V's release window is getting closer and closer to us anyway, meaning that by the time a script like this would be finished, GTA V would already be out and it would need to be done over again, as well as LCPD:FR itself.

LCPD cvpi skin
Why is everything so bright? (Not just the car, the whole GTA IV world, too.) Besides that, good design, I'd just change the font to something you wouldn't see in a Microsoft Word document. I'm getting tired of seeing Arial and Times New Roman really quickly.

Best Police Chase I've Ever Seen
It might depend on the agency Beckugan1, as I've talked to officers who say they lump it all underneath "reckless driving" and will make the fine and/or jail time higher depending on what they do. And yes, hit and run in that context is a felony. And yeah, the pursuing officer did a hell of a job. I was surprised they didn't terminate the chase sooner. I think that officer wanted to catch that kid BAD.

Bullying
Social media and the Internet has made bullying and humiliation take on a whole new scale. Making fun of someone doesn't stop in the hallways anymore. It can reach out to blogs, forums, Facebook and even YouTube in some cases. Having a campaign against bullying is a noble thought, but it ultimately comes down to the parents and how they raise their kids. My advice to any teenagers still taking physical crap from people: Take weightlifting, learn a martial art, or both. To the teenagers taking emotional/mental crap from people: Kids do tend to mellow out around Junior/Senior year of high school, and I found not just bullying, but people giving you crap is near non-existent in a college environment. You can't reason with stupid people, so ultimately it will be a test of your mental fortitude. Stupid people don't go away when you grow up, either. They just change tactics. They are a part of life, and cannot be removed. Ultimately it's best if you can make friends with those you trust, share ideals with and are happy with. Having them will make the world around you a little less hostile, and give you something else to focus on. And if you aren't a social person, get a good hobby. Again, something to put your mind to as opposed to your social problems. Musical instruments are a great outlet for anger, sadness or happiness.

Help Find April !!!!!!!!
Yeah I saw something like that on the back of a box truck on the way home from a business meeting when I was stuck in traffic. It was a nice, blond 16/17 year old girl. Still in high school. She had been kidnapped. I thought to myself, nobody deserves that. That's really sad. And I still maintain that. If any of you want inspiration to become involved in law enforcement, that's it right there, staring you in the face. Just one extra man with a badge being pro-active may prevent more of these from happening, and just one extra investigator may be able to help track down someone who's been missing just a bit quicker.
