MP is really at your own risk because you have to spawn multiple instances of the mod (one for each player). Mods like ELS will make things worse. And god forbid if you plan on playing with people from overseas. I tried playing with Olanov once on a vanilla server. No mods or anything, and the latency sucked. That aside, the game just isn't built for MP. The way the script works it can't be. I'd say that a proper multiplayer is on the way, but because moving to GTA V is a real possibility, you might have to wait another few years for that to come to fruition.

I do what Andrew L mentioned as well. Use the indicator script to shut off the headlights and just park in a poorly lit area, or on the side of the road as if the patrol car is empty. When the car with the john & hooker comes buy, turn on your lights, follow them for 10-20 seconds, then blue light them.

Have you actually used the OS? Because it's based on Windows 7, and it's faster. It even bumps up game performance by an average of 2% even without a graphics card being thrown into the mix as a factor. Microsoft is also selling it for $69.99 at local stores for now due to the "celebration".

Yeah I think it may have something to due with the modded cars also. Probably the game engine clearing extra clutter off of the screen to allow for the stupidly high poly models to stay without conflict. I end up waiting for the cops to get back in their cruisers before leaving the scene of an arrest. When they get back in, they stay.

You use F12 during chases, not ALT & B. That's for when you're on foot.

You can't that I know of. There's a robbery mission in the GTA IV story line, that's all the interaction with the bank I'm aware of.

Theres not really a dance involved, just press they key every now and then, but if that really bothers you, there are mods that can put you on cruise control. During normal traffic though you should be hitting enough traffic lights where it gets to the point that you're not tapping very much at all. And there is no more precise control than a keyboard with a short response distance. It's been proven in shooters, RPGs and driving games alike. That being said, that's just my preference, not necessarily yours.

Logically that doesn't make much sense. You can try to find out more about each card on the web by looking up things like polygon or triangle rendering speed, power consumption, texel fill rate, stuff like that. If the Ti is higher, go for it. If not, it's kind of a no brainier if the price is similar or better.

I very rarely crash. Every now and then one of my modded cars wont' show up and I'll glitch out during car selection, but a game restart fixes that. I even have an unstable test build. lol I think LCPD:FR has come a long way since version .91.

Is the version you have one you actually downloaded from this site? Or did you get it some place else? If not, re-install the mod using the one here on the official website. In response to your questions: 1.) You can force calls with Alt & F11. 2.) That's happened to me before, you can try a re-install, or you might be able to modify a file somewhere to increase frequency. It's random chance though. Some games I get none, other games I get so many that two events may happen at once. 3.) Not sure what happened there. Make sure the version you have actually came off of this site, so that way you'll be sure you have the latest version of everything. 4.) You use your phone to do it, and you can activate the mod once you're in a game. Problem is that other people would have to have LCPD and understand what you're doing. If you do it in a public server, you'll just get griefed while you're on traffic stops. LCPD:FR is also not coded for multiplayer, and is very unstable, especially with modded cars of any sort. If you use modded cars, disable AI police entirely and play with friends. A roleplay group could provide that, but most of them have a bunch of rules to them. Not my cup of tea.

No, not really. Your "superiors" (if you can call them that) mostly leave you alone and you only have to work for certain sections of the year, the rest you get to take off. Sounds pretty sweet to me.

You can't really fix that, no. I've never had a problem though, it's pretty rare people run from me.

It depends on the character model you choose. NOOSE officers as an example don't have one.
