Best iphone 4s stuff
Why didn't you get the iPhone 5? It's better in pretty much every way. Or an Android. I got this in January and it's been great.

If you could
Yeah I remember that guy too. I think the Langley brothers (producers of COPS) probably just make a generalization when they call the area 'Harris County', since it covers multiple departments. But a lot of agencies around there seem to wear the same light blue uniforms. Oh well. And yes the "cross fire", "back up" guy is the one I was thinking of. Can't remember his name though.

Help Find April !!!!!!!!
You figured the parents would have learned a lesson from the first time... It's sad people prey in the weak, in any case.

If you could
Dude if you ever get to meet that "larger" F.T.O. guy who's appeared in the recent COPS episodes from that area (he might be another rank now), tell him he's awesome, and tell his rookies that they're a bunch of noobs. Two of them almost ran up to pull a possibly armed robber out of a truck after a pursuit on a felony stop. He had to yell "Back up!" When you get on the job with them, show 'em how its done properly.

Help Find April !!!!!!!!
I hate to say it, but generally if you don't find the kid within 48 hours, they're already dead. My prayers go out to her family and her, if she still lives.

[REQ] 100% saved game data without SMPA600 Error
SMPA600 as I remember it is due to vehicle mods not being installed properly, not a bad game save.

Police Incidents
Five 911 calls I made that I thought were important and the police either didn't show up on time, or they didn't show up when I was watching: 1.) A red Chevy pickup truck with two white male occupants speeding (I matched him temporarily so I could get his plate) about 80 in a 35, swerving in and out of the oncoming lane and nearly colided with a U.S. Mail truck. I called the police and gave them turn by turn directions of where the truck was going until I had to break off to go to work. No response on if they caught him or not. 2.) A two door mid-80's to early-90's sedan with a completely missing front tire driving down my street on bare rims around 1am, showering sparks everywhere and creating a groove in the pavement. It was too dark to see who or how many people were in the car. I gave a description of the vehicle and general direction since I was in my house looking outside the window. No call-back as to whether they caught the person or not 3.) A woman in an older sedan attempted to (and did) enter a road passing two "WRONG WAY" signs. She continued past them and came into oncoming traffic. I called 911 and gave a partial plate and description of the car. No response as to if they caught her or not. 4.) A friend of mine left a suicide note up on AOL Instant Messenger when I was still a teenager saying she was taking all the pills she could find in her house. I discovered it after logging in to see if she was on. I immediately called the police and they sent a state trooper over followed by an ambulance. He broke in the door and found her on the floor unconcious. They ambulance took her away and they gave her the choice of charcoal mix or a stomach pump. She elected for the charcoal mix. The police called me back and weren't allowed to give me too many details since I wasn't a family member, but made me aware that I most likely saved her life by making the call, which at the time my parents told me not to make. 5.) I observed multiple people arguing loudly in a local park (which is closed after dusk) around 9pm or later with two cars stopped, one of which was a Jeep Cherokee with the trunk lid open. I called 911 (mostly because it annoyed me since I could hear it in my house with the window open) and a couple of officers responded. It turned out to be a fight in progress between 8 people that involved baseball bats and crowbars. They were all arrested, and I got a phone call from the Sergeant thanking me. I've also personally seen a few "neat" incidents bit they weren't as exciting as pursuits. 1.) A traffic stop conducted outside my house on a day off. It was a beat up car with a broken out tail light. The person driving was a "kid" in his late teens or early 20's. After a lot of talking I didn't get to overhear, the officer called in backup, and pulled the kid out of his car. The lead officer and his newly arrived back up searched the entire car. Floorboards, seats, glove box, trunk, underneath the car, etc. They failed to find anything, and then gave him a ticket to let him go. The kid briefly asked for directions, and the officer instructed him how to leave the area. 2.) On the way back from a late night shift at my job, the entrance ramp to the route I normally take on the highway was blocked off by a series of orange barrels. I was forced to take a highway leading south towards Boston. While driving south, I observed a van being completely torn apart by several police officers, multiple cars on scene, spotlighting the van. After passing that area and finding my way back north on a highway that was an offshoot of the one going south, I saw multiple patrol cars from different agencies (local, county and state) all along the way, combing the area for something/someone. One was even in the #4 lane doing about 30, and then flipped a u-turn over the grass median. I never found out what happened that night. 3.) A pretty bad car crash. Some lady ended up totaling her vehicle pretty badly into a light pole after smashing into a guard rail at the beginning of an entrance ramp above a bridge leading to a highway. One officer was on scene and another was arriving as I passed it. Never found out what caused it. 4.) During my first ride along, the officer I was with attempted to stop a white Honda Civic for having expired tags (2 months past). They were reluctant to pull over, and eventually pulled into a gas station. I was watching their movement in the car, and noticed the passenger digging fairly franticly into a purse. I told the officer, and he told me that they were probably looking for I.D. (this was about 30 seconds after the stop). I informed him that the passenger was a male, and asked why he's doing it instead of the female driver. He then promptly grabbed his hat, jumped out of the car and got up to the driver window quickly. lol He came back after giving them a warning, and got into the car, telling me that there was an extremely strong odor of purfume in the car, making him think they sprayed it to hide the odor of drugs, but he decided to let it go.

If you could
Boston Massachusetts Police - Local and has good variety of crimes while still not being as gang-ridden as other major cities. Las Vegas Nevada Metro Police - Non-stop calls, get to patrol the strip and industrial areas nearby, being proactive against drugs, drinking in public and prostitution. Pierce County Washington Police - Great variety of calls, and would be a good opportunity to combat the Meth problem there head on. Harris County Texas Police - Good F.T.O. who leads the department, forgiving of newbie errors and has a good degree of action without necessarily wearing you down. Pomona California Police - Varying degree of calls, not as busy as L.A., same great weather, though. Atlanta or Cobb County Georgia Police - Just an exciting area, although pretty dangerous in certain spots. That's really all I can think of for now.

Best Police Chase I've Ever Seen
Yeah, you can call people who run from the polcie a lot of names, but "smart" isn't one of them. But yes, I was really worried when they squeezed past that dump truck a couple of minutes in, and again when crossing an active intersection and the people who had the green light didnt' seem to pay attention to the oncoming sirens or the guy blowing the intersection in front of them.

Best Police Chase I've Ever Seen
I know plenty of you have seen some good chases on TV now and then, and maybe a few LEO's on here have had some real life experiences. But this dashcam recorded chase has got to be the scariest, and most adrenaline fueld chase I have ever seen. A guy in a black Chevy Cavalier goes past a radar gun a little too fast, and then slams the gas after he realizes he'll get pulled over. That cop is one hell of a driver, and that was a satisfying end around 7:55. The cop mouthing the words "Why'd you run?" around 8:26 and his reaction is hilarious. lol The guy who runs this channel has several good videos (only the more recent ones have audio & radio chatter) of various police chases. I'd also check this one out too: I hate to see more crime, but I hope he keeps his channel up and post new videos now and then to make people aware of the challenges these officers face every day. The sad thing is that Lakewood Ohio is supposed to be one of the nicer cities in the state. But I'm sure all adults here knows that doesn't mean various thugs from other towns won't bring their problems with them. Anyway, enjoy.

GTA IV has stopped working after install lcpdfr 0.95rc2r2
Yeah he just said earlier G17 doesn't support cracked version of the game, and we generally frown upon piracy or even the hint of it here. Get a legit copy.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
I don't have a problem with Alienware's quality. Build is good generally, cable management is flawless, generally comes with some overclocking software, but the price always gets me. CyberPower PC or iBuyPower generally have better performance for the dollar.

Talk about bizarre..
Sad coincidence. My condolences.

can someone make this skin ?
Wrong section, bud. This goes in the Mods area. Can we get this moved?

For Mac?
If your Mac has decently powerful specs, and a copy of Windows on it. As an example; a white Macbook won't play it, nor will any Macbook Air, nor will a new Macbook Pro not counting the retina display or maybe a custom built 15" that has a graphics card in it, the new iMacs would work, but pretty horribly unless you had it custom built. A Mac Pro desktop would be best, but they're expensive and most people don't have them. Moral of the story; Macs aren't for gaming.

Post a picture of your gaming setup :D
Yeah, I had that thing for about 11 years. It was tough. I've since switched to FiOS though, running at 50mbps. Better internet, worse TV, though.

I found my love child!
Funny how things differ from state to state. There's a red Chevy Tahoe that runs around my neighborhood all the time, it belongs to the fire department. Lights are red and blue, but they're really only in the mirrors, the front dash and the rear windshield. It's more subtle and I kind of prefer it that way. No siren that I know of. Never heard the guy use one, anyway. He was behind me once when I was traveling to work and I pulled over as best I could (no shoulder, trees were right next to the road) to let him by. Looks pretty much like that. Good color for the fire dept.

That was my desktop from Jan 2006 - May 2009 immediately after I set it up for the first time. I don't have a picture of my current one. I'm due for a re-build some time next year because of the newer generation of graphics cards out there, but I don't have the funding at the moment. It's still holding its own at highest details though. I'll look into getting a pic of my current one up here at some point.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
If you need to have a laptop for some reason, that would be okay for games at reasonably high details for the next year or two. I'd invest in a desktop if you don't need it to be portable.

Gaming system.
Both of you are going to need to be more specific.

I Damn Near SHIT myself when i saw this light set up
That's gonna be a pleasant repair bill to get in the mail if that cruiser ever gets trashed in a pursuit or a normal accident.

Your Favourite GTA Game?
I think the most well done one so far is GTA IV (as it should be, since it's newer) but GTA III is my favorite GTA game. I grew up with the series, and that was undoubtedly the one that revolutionized the third person shooter/action/driver game type. It had so much depth within the world that I could (and still can to this day) ride around liberty city just doing random crap to pedestrians, cops, my cars, myself. lol My friends and I loved every minute of it.

Drivers beeping at player while responding
New York traffic is full of a-holes anyway. I wouldn't doubt some people would beep at the cops rushing by.
