  1. I use one of these currently: It's an LG IPS236V 23" LED In Plane Shifting monitor, 1920X1080 resolution, black trim w/ blue LED power light which matches the rest of my gear and the computer itself.
  2. Yeah you should be in the safe zone. I just wouldn't dare go any lower if I valued my equipment, which I do.
  3. For the console maybe, not for Microsoft. Again, they have money to play with.
  4. The thing to remember about power supplies really is that the max output of a power supply is just that; it's max output. This means that a 500W power supply does not always give you 500W. It might be 450, or 475. If your whole PC needs 500, you risk overheating or even zap-frying your parts. Always overcompensate with your power supply. I bought a 1200W in 2006, I'm still using it now. Best investment I've ever made from a computer standpoint.
  5. Cool car. Only thing I'd change is the custom wallpaper thing you made. American speedometers read in MPH, not KPH. 240KPH is about 150MPH if you decide to re-do the graphic.
  6. 1.) You can currently get new armor from your trunk and if you don't feel like driving, then call in a transport unit. 2.) Not everyone wants to pretend to be the NYPD. Some people prefer other states, or even countries. 3.) There's a mod that does that already, and some other functions too. Check out Braveheart's script.
  7. It probably won't. As far as I know they're concerned about bug fixes and copying Appl'es "Mirror" technology to stream stuff to TV's wirelessly.
  8. 1&1.com or GoDaddy. I use GoDaddy.
  9. Should be fine. That power supply is dangerously low in wattage. Did you skimp on it to use the money on other parts?
  10. Somewhere around 90fps on the original game, without mods of any kind. ARMA's engine sucks. Always has, probably always will. Most people don't know/remember that the "game" is built off of an actual U.S. Army training simulator and has terrible coding. The games details are bland and even high end systems can have a hard time with it. GTA IV is really screwy with its performance too. In a couple of other topics, one of which I started myself, I reported that I have HUGE texture loss problems that leads to crashing very quickly on my new system when I use car mods, with or without ENB. My new PC is faster, can crunch more data at once, runs a leaner OS and even has more texture memory. Nobody can seem to explain to my why my 4 year old computer could play GTA IV with mods better than my new one. I can't explain it either, and although I'm no computer genius, I think highly enough of my technical abilities that I'm disappointed in myself not knowing exactly why. Anyway, you can't expect your results to be 100% like a benchmark on a site like HardOCP.com says it will be. But you should be it the ballpark. I'll agree that your performance at those settings is a little odd. There's probably more than meets the eye to your performance issues.
  11. Do you have the stock cooler or an aftermarket one? Each unlocked CPU from Intel is slightly different when it comes to voltage and heat tolerance, and they won't warranty them if you tamper with them. I'd say around 4.0 is safe. It's possible to go higher (maybe around 4.5 or 4.6) but you're risking over-volting it at that point, or overheating it with a stock cooler. I have a 3770K with an aftermarket cooler running it at stock clocks. There isn't a shooter game I can't max out with it couple with my GTX 670. I might push it to 4.0 if I feel like experimenting, but I'm fine with how it performs now.
  12. They're not going anywhere. If it gets really bad they'll just cut the price and lift the software restrictions with a big fat firmware patch the next time the console connects to the internet. Microsoft will just have to learn their lesson the hard way.
  13. Make sure you have the latest .NET framework. That can cause this error. Also make sure you have the latest version of Games For Windows Live installed. Google goes a long way: http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=the+ordinal+5364+could+not+be+located
  14. No, they care. The XBOX likely brings them far more revenue than Windows licensing does. Probably more than all of their other services combined if you didn't count corporate offices buying Microsoft Office software into it. Microsoft gets a little kickback from each OS sold, but for the XBOX they get kickback for every console, every game, every controller, every cable, every pre-order. And things like warranties and LIVE subscriptions are pure profit. If the XBOX had never been invented, Microsoft would likely be out of business, or on the ropes financially speaking at the very least since Vista and Windows 8 were both very poorly received along with the last few Office suites. The Zune was a failure, the Surface isn't gaining much traction, and their Phone OS isn't growing by leaps and bounds right now. Microsoft is trying to do too many things at once, so instead of doing a couple of things extremely well (Like a Windows OS and a gaming console), they're doing everything mediocre. Mediocre doesn't cut it when you're up against cut throat competition like Apple, Google, Samsung and Sony.
  15. It's a matter of opinion. Dunno why you made a video, if people find it you'll get a bunch of hate mail for it.
  16. I hate to jump on the hate train with everyone when it comes to the XBOX One's new policies, but there are too many negatives to buying one vs. a PS4. I'm just wondering if I should get one upon release or wait a few months. Pre-orders and availability will be limited I'm sure.
  17. Undercover as what, a guy with a white car and a can of green spray paint to waste?
  18. Too late. lol
  19. And they can dispute that, you always have the opportunity to. Some content creators are just too lazy. lol
  20. Mind copying and pasting that here for us so all other YouTubers here can use it please?
  21. My god, did someone already pick up a "lost" iPhone prototype and root it so they could put Android on it? Because that's what this looks like. A lot. lol @ Steve Jobs saying he wanted to go thermonuclear on Android before he died, and look what iOS is trying to be now. He's rolling his grave while Bill Gates and Eric Schmidt are laughing.
  22. Windows is on a C drive where about half of 1TB is taken up, maybe a bit more. Fedora is on a physically separate D drive where there is absolutely no data of any kind. Initially during setup I gave it 250GB of space. Setup failed, I then tried again and gave it the whole drive, worked like a charm. But I know for sure I won't use Linux enough to merit all of that space being taken up. And if I plan on gaming with this PC for 3 more years, I'll need that for other games eventually.
  23. There's nothing realistic about 10 squad cares with people leaning out of the windows shooting you through the back windshield at 80 miles per hour on a busy highway. Police cars of the day weren't usually super powerful either. Gangsters of the 1930's and 40's had expensive and powerful V8 cars that they normally stole, or bought using bank robbery money specifically for fast getaways. Funny enough, I was watching a special on gangster history during the early 1930's earlier today. lol It was about Machine Gun Kelly, Bonnie & Clyde, John Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson, all famous gangsters that created a huge crime wave between 1932 and 1934. The police had an incredibly hard time catching them, thanks to the FBI's incompetence at the time, and they only caught/killed them through people who ratted them out. No police chases no on-scene apprehensions, even during gun fights the John Dillinger gang had stolen bullet proof vests and local cops often had nothing. Criminals often had a huge edge over lawmen ever since the wild west period all the way up until the 1950's. Thing started to even out as stricter laws were created, bigger government agencies started to loom over criminal enterprises and technology started to catch up to aid the good guys. Anyway, back on topic; I loved everything about Mafia I and II besides the police AI. Regarding Joe's fate, it's implied that he got clipped. Maybe there will be some sort of twist ending, but honestly despite the liking I had to Joe and how he treated your character, it would be a more "Mafia style" ending (think Goodfellas or Casino) if the mob goons killed him. As Henry Hill once put it; "Your killers come with smiles. They come as your friends, people you've known all your life. And they always seem to come at a time when you're at your weakest and in most need of their help." Joe didn't expect for his own crew to kill him but that's (probably) what happened. It's a dark ending, and mob life itself is dark. Hence why I think that ending is the most entertaining.
  24. What did you have in mind exactly? There are plenty of Police super cars out there like Lamborghini's or McLaerns or Bugatti Veyrons or whatever. But I get enough of that in Need For Speed. I don't want to catch up to somebody in two seconds and end the pursuit. It's not realistic and a super car with a light bar on top loses its wow factory real fast and then just becomes cheesey. I like a little bit of a challenge, a little bit of realism, and driving the heavyweight V8 sedans is fun if you ask me. Furthermore, the CVPI as we know it is dead and gone, and many departments around me are ditching them entirely for the new Ford Taurus SHO based cars. So I'll soak up the gameplay with these cars while I still can. There are also a ton of bland looking Volvo/BMW/Mercedes sedans for our European friends across the pond (sorry, just an opinion). And I don't think anybody from any country would be really aching to jump into the seat of something old and dull like a Volkswagen Scirroco (not the new one), Ford Pinto or an Oldsmobile Cutlass. CVPI's and Dodge Chargers may not be Ferarri's but they're faster than an average sedan, have a great V8 growl and can knock bigger vehicles than you think around like toys. And they certainly scream 'Police' like nothing else.
  25. I don't think you know what communism means. Nor do a lot of other people, for that matter. I can't stand words like 'communist' or 'nazi' being thrown around like they are today. Back on the main topic, if you fight a DMCA takedown you may tell the YouTube moderators that the video is for social comment and criticism only which is covered under the constitution. This is a legitimate claim so long as your videos are not monetized. This is the only reason I refused to monetize any of my videos a couple of years ago despite the millions of views, for fear that some sweeping action like this might happen.
