EFLC Specific ENB?
There's a million entries in enbbloom.fx for 'bloom'. Which one am I supposed to edit to make the annoying glare from the backup lights go away? There's also a bloom setting in the 'enbseries.ini' file with variables too. [bLOOM] BloomQuality=2 BlueShiftAmount=0 Radius1=64 Radius2=128 Contrast=0.3 The rest of the lights are okay. The reds, blues, traffic lights. It's just the white lights at the rear of the car. I only need to fix that because it literally hurts my eyes to stare at it.

MASSACHUSETTS STATE POLICE texture pack
Pretty accurate, just wish the textures on the doors were a bit sharper. Good job otherwise.

EFLC Specific ENB?
So you're saying if I re-install my ENB and then add that 'enbconfig.txt' file, then it should fix the color/brightness issue? Do I have to change anything so it reads that file? Because the two ENB's I have on my PC have .ini files with a different name, no text files with that name to be found. *EDIT* Looks like I found an ENB for EFLC (it's actually the same ENB but several versions newer). Now I'm having somewhat of a glare problem though when my cruisers lights flash, specifically the rear white lights on the trunk, not the light bar on top. Check these out: This is an example of the glare I get. It's to the left of the car right where the trees are. This is the car with the light bar on, but at a moment when the rear white lights aren't flashing. Notice the lack of white ambient light. Another example of the annoying glare. This time above the Sheriff logo on the back, above the trunk. This is a problem for me due to eyesight worries. It actually hurts to stare at that glare that flashes as I drive the car down the street during a chase. Otherwise I love everything else about that ENB. Is there a setting I can tweak? And before you ask, there is no .txt file. Only a .ini file again.

EFLC Specific ENB?
Where does all that junk go exactly? The one I have came in a .RAR file that has a few things dumped in the root folder, a replacement for the timecycles and some new road textures which are optional.

EFLC Specific ENB?
I recently re-applied my ENB to my install of Episodes From Liberty City. It worked great on vanilla GTA IV, but makes the game very bright but with faded colors, and literally unplayable at sunset due to the bright white light the sun gives off. Any ENB's people know of that would work well with TBoGT specifically? Preferably ones that don't lag the crap out of someones computer, for that matter.

Liberty County Sheriff Department 2012 by unr3al
I beg to differ. Their job is the same, they 'police' the citizens to maintain law and order. The difference is that one does it on a town or city level and another does it on a county level, giving him a wider jurisdiction. I may make an update for this car with a changed backing, as I've already tested one on a Dodge Charger.

ELS 7 Question
There's a script called ELSFix you can look up that has buttons to force AI police lights on and off. It works pretty well on ELS V5. Not 100% of the time, though.

Need help buying/building or upgrading a computer?
Everything, really. That machine was top end in the year 2006/2007. That CPU is old, the amount of RAM is the bare minimum I'd use for today's games and the graphics card is several generations behind. They don't make those components anymore so you can't keep your existing motherboard and all of that stuff, so you'd have to ditch your machine and start over. New processors use different CPU sockets, new memory sticks have a different pin count and graphics cards now run on PCI Express 3.0 and likely demand more wattage than an old power supply could give if what you have is a store bought computer.

[Steam Sale] Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box
Pretty good deal, I'm surprised I didnt' see it featured on the front page. They now have Mortal Kombat for PC ported over which is pretty cool, and it comes with the DLC from the XBOX version that you had to pay for. $30. I kind of want to get it since my XBOX 360 is broken and I want the DLC, plus it might make the developers consider putting out a PC version regularly, but I don't want to use a keyboard or buy a controller for my PC. Plus I already have it for my XBOX 360.

Not Enough Lights on a Police Truck?
Hmm... needs more lights. Lets get some LEDs on the hub caps so the lights blink when the wheels spin.

Usually 18+ unless you're in an explorers program, they'll do a background check, it will depend on the department on if they're generous enough to give non-recruits ride alongs, and you should wear semi-formal attire. No t-shirts, no jeans with holes in them, clean shoes. It's free, but so is a bullet to the chest. Just remember you take your chances sitting in that car, you have to sign a waiver saying so. They don't give you any protection. No gun, no kevlar vest. Your only way of helping in case things go south is the radio inside the car. Either of those two outfits would be examples of acceptable clothing for your ride along. The one on the right would make you look like a detective without the badge. lol I wore attire closer to the guy on the left. I had brand new jeans, a belt without studs in it, (which is the type I wear casually), a nicely pressed button shirt with short sleeves, and clean, bright white sneakers. Sort of a preppy look. This is advice I got from a Field Training Officer, so I'd use that as a guideline.

That's a shame. You do sign a waiver saying that your family can't use if you die during the ride along. But I know a couple of police departments near me have stopped giving them due to bad press or the dangers involved.

That last one's pretty rough dude. Situations involving crimes against a kid really get me upset. It can scar them for life, just like you were saying. She hates men of all sorts, and she hasn't even reached adulthood yet to make an educated decision.

I'd save that for college dude, or a down payment on a house. A mediocre "muscle car" like a Camaro or Mustang isn't worth it since the styles change so often and the engine is basically the same each year on the Mustang GT. That is unless of course you're trying to buy a 60's/70's model and restore it. Either go top shelf and get a true sports car or save the money for more useful stuff.

I'm assuming you sat in the car for all three? (You had no choice for #1, I know.)

They were young kids (late teens early 20's), and although that town had a relatively low crime rate as far as assaults and property theft is concerned, it had a huge drug problem (mostly marijuana) revolving around the high school in the years following my graduation. It may still, I'm not sure since I moved to another state. That's a "lightweight" drug though by law enforcement standards, some surrounding towns had worse problems with drugs like heroin or meth. A lot of heavily wooded places or mid western places seem to have a saturation meth and alcohol problems, and I'm not sure why that is. Nothing to do? I dunno. A huge majority of COPS episodes that feature meth users or rolling labs are based out of Washington, Minnesota, Oregon, Michigan or North Dakota as an example. Beautiful landscapes, a ton of backwoods and big time drug areas in all of those states.

Deleting Operating System?
I sincerely hope you didn't spend money on your copy of Windows 7 that you're replacing Windows 8 with. But, suck it up and reformat for the best performance and overall experience.

Post A Picture Of Your Car
I'll leave that up to the moderators. Some of them hate "necro-posting" but if there's already a big thread full of pictures, I'd rather that people who already posted in that (myself included) not post the pictures twice. Remember that a lot of things here get stored on G17's servers, and they cost money to keep up, so I'd want to keep the bandwidth usage to a minimum. They're not my forums though, so we'll find out when a mod responds. Nice car though. I drive a Chevy Trailblazer, a semi-common police SUV here in the states.

The first traffic stop I was on was for a white sedan with expired tags. The car was hesitant to pull over at first, and ended up pulling over at a gas station nearby. While the police officer was busy getting his hat and whatever other gear he had ready, I was watching the driver and passenger. I saw the passenger moving around a lot, and I commented on it to the officer. He said the passenger was probably just looking for his I.D. My response was "He's looking for his I.D. in the female drivers purse?" He quickly jumped out of the car and ran up to the drivers side window. lol He came back to the cruiser telling me he smelled a heavy odor or perfume, and suggested they're probably trying to hide the odor of drugs in the car. He decided to let them go and that was it. The next traffic stop later that day was a girl who was flying down a side street. The officer surprised me by hitting the brakes as hard as he could, then flipping a U-turn quickly. After getting the car stopped, it turns out it was a young girl on her way to pick up her sister from prom. The police officer decided not to give her a ticket and let her go with a warning. Earlier in the day, we were sitting in an abandoned parking lot next to a family restaurant looking for traffic violators. On the restaurant lawn were a group of little kids. They looked up at the cruiser, then at me and waved. I waved back. That's a good feeling, let me tell you.
