I made Steam not update unless I launched it, and now I seem to be able to launch it via RagePluginHook.exe. Steam asks me if I want to update, and I just choose Launch Now and it works. Got lucky, I suppose.

I'd like to know if we could do this too -- right now it's just saying the file doesn't exist if I try an access anything API related in a non-LSPDFR plugin.

How people bought a computer to run the game but don't have enough to actually buy the game is beyond me.

This should go in LSPD First Response Discussion and Suggestions, just a heads-up for next time. You can change the Context Action key and that will change the police computer key. It also changes the arrest and go on duty keys too though.

Yeah, like the person you quoted said, IsPedArrested is broken and only works when an NPC cop arrests a Ped, which is why what you're describing happens.

Rage Hook doesn't come with a native trainer, Script Hook V does. And Script Hook V does work with Rage Hook, I use it and the Enhanced Native Trainer.

I believe it's possible, but probably low-priority at the moment to implement.

The reason why money doesn't work is that the player characters have special variables to keep track of your money. When you use a character without that special variable, money does nothing and so it always displays as zero.

I'll play around with the idea a bit. Sounds plausible, dunno how to attach things to other things and move with them though. Might turn out to be simple or pretty complex.

It's pretty much impossible. Consoles won't allow unsigned code, and even if they did, they're pretty locked down.

Thanks! There are a billion animations, and finding the right one when the name's not related is a pain. I'll certainly try and find a better one though.

I don't know why it'd be coming up as a virus -- the only thing I could think of is that it reads the ini file but that doesn't seem like it would trigger that. It's a false alarm, whatever it is. Here's a virustotal. It says everything's clean (which is weird if it's triggering your anti-virus). I'll see if I can't figure out why it's doing that.

If you have Script Hook V, try deleting that. If it works, then try the latest Script Hook V. Can't help you much more than that. This is more of a Rage Hook issue, so you're better off getting support at forums.ragepluginhook.net.- 342 comments

Well, there's a pattern that all of them follow, which is two numbers first, then three letters, then three more numbers. Easy to tell once you've memorized that. Ex: 09-POD-105

The range you have to get within is pretty small, so you might not have been close enough. Other than that, I don't really know -- I'll look over the code again and check to see if something might be causing the problem.
