I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Could you PM me your EntityPersistence.ini and your RagePluginHook.log file and tell me any other mods you have loaded?

I think the plugin you're thinking of is Search Warrant... though I can't be sure since I don't really play or develop for LSPDFR anymore.

Ah, it's nothing too special, just combining VehicleSearch and PedSearch into one and adding API functions for any developers who want to interact with the plugin. Hopefully it will work better as well (such as being able to cancel even when in the animation, plus .xml format for item lists).

That sounds like a very strange problem. Are you sure it's my plugin that's the problem? Can you give yourself the rifle using a trainer and see if you can fire it then?

It crashes each time you start... Vehicle Search? Or every time you just start GTA V? If it's the latter you should go to the Support forums. I don't see any crashes in that log.

If I can stop playing Overwatch for one second I might finish PoliceSearch. Hopefully this all works fine. Spent around an hour testing it with LSPDFR, so it should.

How so? I haven't tried it in a long while, so that's entirely possible.

The next version will have some graceful handling of things like that. Now if I can finish the next version in a timely matter is another question.

Send me your RagePluginHook.log file that's in your main GTA V directory, please.

You are using an old .ini file -- try re-downloading the Search mod and replace your .ini file with the one in the download, then copy-paste your items to the new file and reset your binds.

There should be no spaces before or after 'None' in the binds. In addition, I'm pretty sure 'Control' should be 'LControlKey' or 'RControlKey' but if it works for you that's fine. Hopefully that fixes your problem!

Without plugins interacting with each other it's not possible to do anything other than randomness, unfortunately.

Can people please send me their crash log instead of complaining without giving me any useful info? I literally just started up GTA V with the latest RPH and the latest PedSearch version (v1.1.1) and everything seems to work fine.

Also, if you're having a problem, send me your RagePluginHook.log file so I can diagnose it.

I'm working on a new plugin called PoliceSearch (thanks, Albo!) that combines both VehicleSearch and PedSearch. This will make it easier to update and fix than the two separate plugins. It will also have a sort of API, allowing any plugin developers to add/remove items from vehicles and peds.

Did you make sure the plugin was loaded? Send me your .ini file if you still haven't gotten it to work. LSPDFR automatically gives you a shotgun, pistol, and stun gun, which is why my mod doesn't and only gives you a rifle. I'll change it in a future version to give you these weapons if you don't have them.
