  1. Well, there is a place called Liberty City (City of Liberty) in Gregg County, Texas: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_City,_Texas Their small police department is called "Liberty Police Department" though: http://www.cityofliberty.org/Departments/PoliceDepartment.aspx
  2. You'd have to be a special kind of lowlife if you trap first responders who give their everything to help out people. This filth shouldn't even be given a funeral. My heart goes out to the victim's families and friends who won't be able to celebrate christmas with their loved ones. The way in which these brave men were taken is despicable.
  3. Amazing work Olanov! The editing is superb and one of the best I've seen for IV. Hopefully, we'll get to see more work from you. I already had the popcorn out while watching this video. Liked and +1

  7. That would be a Whelen 295 if I'm not mistaken.

  9. Rockstar released three new screenshots as well:
  10. Wow, just wow. Now for the love of god, please fix the AI driving for this one, Rockstar!
  11. Amazing. I've said it before but I'll say it again, it's mods like yours that keep me interested in playing GTA IV.
  12. Keep in mind, a lot of the stuff in these screenshots(cars and such) are still beta and not a final product. Let's hope they still change that. Those rambars would just look out of place in Los Santos.
  13. Terrifying video to watch. Thanks for sharing this. I hope I never get into a situation like that. I can't imagine the feeling when you see a fellow officer get shot in front of you.
  14. Are you sure? I know that with the Bologna structure, bachelor and master degrees are accepted throughout the entire European Union but I didn't know this includes the US as well. If that's the case, my dream yet lives. Thank you for giving me hope. It's people like you who make me want to move to the US in the first place. However, you do have to be an American citizen in order to work as a LEO, am I right? Doesn't this take at least 5 years when you move to the US?
  15. I've just read the entire story... I am just flabbergasted. These lines: " When you're driving around in the country, you may see a broken down car or hitchhiker on the side of the road. If you're the curious type, pull over and see what happens. Going off-road in the desert, you may come across two parked cars and a sea of dead bodies around them. Did a breaking bad-style drug deal go bad? Investigate if you want. Dynamic missions extend into the heart of Los Santos as well. If you see a cash van, you can attack it to make a quick score, or if you're looking to do a good deed you could catch the mugger who grabbed a granny's purse." :ohmy:I think the Houser brothers will deliver a true masterpiece. This could very well turn into the greatest game ever made. My expectations for this game are just gigantic right now. Let's hope I won't be disappointed next spring...
  16. The Central Intelligence Agency is, as the name says, an intelligence agency and not a law enforcement agency. The information they collect and analyse can however be used for law enforcement purposes.
  17. Lol That would indeed be the best way. I've considered that as well actually. Belgium also has liaison officers over there or perhaps I could try Interpol although that's a long shot as well. Maybe I could apply for Belgian liaison officer with the Sussex Police RPU. I would certainly enjoy a ride in that Beamer.
  18. I've dreamed of that my entire life but as I got older, I learned to accept the fact that it is virtually impossible. You have to bear in mind that to be able to work as a LEO in the US, you have to be an American citizen. Owners of a green card can become US citizens after 5 years. This would mean that you have to do another job for at least 5 years. Only then will you be able to apply. And that's just a start. I'm following a master degree in criminology but I'm pretty sure my degree isn't valid in the US. So this would mean I'd have to start all over, learning a completely different justice system. Also, the only way to obtain a visa is a Work visa or a Family based Immigrant Visa. So either marry an American citizen or make sure you already have a job there before you move. If I were you, I'd stick to the RPU Nonetheless, I wish you all the best in pursuing your dream! Now, on topic, when I graduate in a couple of months, I'll apply at a police academy and hopefully get selected. Based on my 3 months internship with them, I'd like to join the Federal Judicial police as a detective.
