  4. In the video, he replaced the airhorn with a manual tone. Just like in this video: [media=]
  5. Very nice videos. I really enjoy watching these. I play operation arrowhead myself so I know how hard it is to play Arma properly without dying all the time. Without tactics, you're screwed basically.
  6. Beautiful work Olanov. Really creates a great atmosphere. Brings a tear to my eye.
  7. Rather old video but still a unique takedown http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ayd0fbtE_1U&feature=related
  8. Or you could use the option "EnableMobileRadio" with Simple Native Trainer. However, that will play the radio even on foot.
  9. http://www.dailymail...rick-house.html http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9rFIgLg_4o I bet those hazmat guys won't forget that anytime soon.
  10. Situations like that happen all over the world, unfortunately. Good find though. A classic example of a traffic enforcement officer drunk with power. http://digitaljournal.com/article/307241
  11. Had a rather sad example of bullying just last week when we arrested a 23 year old cannabis dealer. When I first saw him, I couldn't believe he was a dealer. He was just a normal young man, no different than me. He immediately confessed everything in the interrogation and literally broke down in tears in front of us. Turns out he was severly bullied all his life, even to the extent of being forced to certain sexual acts by some jerk. He did commit a serious crime, no doubt about that and he will be punished, but I think the dealing was just a cry for attention. It definitely wasn't for the money, seeing he lived with his parents in a giant mansion. He didn't have anyone to talk to. His super rich parents were never there and at school, he was always bullied. While we were searching his room, his father didn't even ask how his son was doing. I can only assume that the drug dealing scene made him feel accepted, part of a certain community, where people listened to him. Hopefully, the psychological counseling will keep him from further dealing or doing the same thing as this poor girl.
  12. Belgium ftw! I ain't no real patriot and our political system is just plain awful but it's times like these that make me proud to be Belgian I must say, I didn't think this video would reach the international community as well I found it this morning on our Belgian news sites. How did you find this NB?
  13. Thanks for sharing this Harper. It's great to see that the staff is still keeping the community updated. New features are always nice but it's the bug fixing and optimisation that makes this mod stand out. The new pursuit tactics just look awesome. As a realism fan, I couldn't ask for anything else. Again, outstanding work G17.
  14. This is by far the greatest model ever released for GTA IV. Awesome work as always Kevin.

  19. Very nice. South Boston, home of Frank Costello ;-) Bit of topic but are there really that much Irish immigrants in Boston?
  20. Nicolai is absolutely right. There's just such a wide variety of cars that they are each asseigned their own duties. You won't see that Toyota do patrols or high speed chases. Besides, if it does come to a chase, backup is never far away since Belgium is a rather small country. Our police helicopters can respond to any location in a very short time.
  21. Nice to see a fellow criminologist on the site I must say however that criminology is way too theoretical out here. I'm currently doing an internship with the narcotics division of the federal police and the real deal is just so much different.
  22. And now for something completely different: -Highway patrol examples: -Local police examples: The local police uses all kinds of vehicles: volkswagen, opel, audi, toyota, mercedes, volvo,... The thing is, some local forces have a lot of money and can afford audi's and other equipment like a rumbler while others are having financial problems and stick to cheaper models. It does make for a wide variety of police vehicles and lightbars however. In my opinion, the liveries aren't that nice, especially the local police.
  23. Police work is more than what you get to see in tv shows. People tend to forget that after a chase for example, a heck load of paper work has to be filled in. Shows like cops or police interceptors only show pieces from weeks of filming. I bet no one would watch anymore if they actually followed every step of these officers, excluding law enforcement enthousiasts of course. Anyway, nice videos although I had already seen most of them.
  24. Nice one. That car brings up a lot of memories I have a question though. What's the difference between the MK1 and this MK2? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3OgItwTA14&feature=player_embedded
