  1. i just KNEW you were goin to reply to this. and i agree. if kids can get tattoos, smoke cigarettes, and have babies then they can take a cuss word here and there!
  2. i am glad i saw this. for the longest time i've wondered about that. i notice some car downloads are 10mb and some 1.3 so without asking i guess i have my answer now lol thanks.
i really liked this siren. kinda was a mixture of different ones and the last one even sounds like an ambulance :D
  3. hello. i have never used that particular mod but i do use Traffic Flow. it allows you to choose 20 cars that you want to appear in your game. not sure if you would like to try it but i've had zero problems with it :) http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/13-traffic-flow/
  4. hey no problem. i'll search the net for anyone if they ask. what i actually do is i have a folder of bookmarked answers to questions and such. that way if someone has a problem i can quickly find it :D also when im searching for new cars and mods and such i tend to bookmark those as well cuz ya never know :) glad ur game is running. have you thought about reducing your graphics ingame? i did that as well so my water isnt technically all "watery" but ma game runs good haha. try lowering some resolution in game and see if that helps. also i use Game Booster 3..which basically stops any unnecessary programs from running on the computer while you are gaming. its not for everybody but right now i can game for about 2 hours with NO crashes. it takes time to figure all that out but everyone who plays this game long term eventually ends up having a pretty damn good running game!
  5. i do not know what is going on lately. i've seen story after story of officers being killed. my cousin was held at gunpoint two weeks ago by a guy she was arresting on heroine in a stand-off and im just tellin ya people are going crazy. i am lucky that noone in my family has been killed on duty. my niece just started at University of Dayton to become an officer and it just makes me cringe. thoughts go out, of course, to the families of these officers :( i hope the other officer returns to the force soon.
  6. i would just buy the regular one. no need to get the full thing because they are all the same when it comes to using LCPDFR plus with the mod for V coming out there is no need to go spend tons of cash on something that will be obsolete soon. i have the disc with all the episodes and i have never clicked on the other episodes. i got GTA IV from Walmart for $9 so its worth buying and playing until the new one comes out. its better than sitting around whittling your thumbs waiting for a stable mod to come out. if the mod for V is the same as IV, there will be alot of bugs and such to work out in the beginning. also a good thing to point out is that there will be and are several police mods being made for GTA V but i would highly recommend the version that will be presented here. if nothing else so you can receive support you can count on. i have frequented many forums and i dont like them. stick around here Migfr :D
  7. well as of right now i am playing GTA IV with LCPDFR. right now IV is clearly de-bugged as much as it can be and the base knowledge of the mods are established. so if you are looking for gameplay where most problems can be solved pretty easily then that is the one for you :P i personally haven't bought GTA V yet because the mods i have seen are still in development, unstable, or don't provide the same gameplay we have become used to with LCPDFR. now in time of course i'm sure everyone will migrate to V given the amazing gameplay and the potential for the mods that can be created. if i were you i would definitely try LCPDFR. it is a great mod that is playable now :D so why not haha.
  8. when you are starting your game are you running it as Administrator by chance? you cant just run the game you have to right click on Launch GTA IV and run as administrator. see if that helps at all. also does your GTA IV game work perfectly without the mod installed?
  9. that is the road block feature which has hotkeys plus an actual command in the police helper mod. you can try out a combination of buttons to get that effect. try shift Z or control Z or Alt Z. one technically places barriers and one places cones or flares. they all have the same traffic stopping effect. so what i would do is try those out and use the one that wont produce the road block.
  10. okay we will start with what i tell everybody and go from there. first install GTA IV with nothing else. make sure the game works properly. then install the latest version of LCDPFR and thats it. if you are able to go on duty and play then i would say it has to do with ELS, your cars, or other mods. make sure that you are using ELS v8.5 (other versions are incompatible with the new version of LCPDFR). When installing ELS install only the trainer.ini and trainer.asi files. try your game out with ELS installed. Make sure you are using ELS enabled cars of course :P if you continue to have crashes run your diagnostic tool and tell me which ones are still red. good luck :)
  11. great! well let me know if it helps. i can't remember the last time this problem was even posted so it would be nice to know if it helps at least one person for the future :)
  12. hello :D despite the rambling of some of our members, i would like to thank you for posting and we'll see if we can help. from what i see there isn't anything that can be fixed. the only thing i can say is that overuse of the mod will eventually cause some parts to crash. it simply isn't feasible to tow every single vehicle on the scene. the same with paramedics. also make sure that when you do call the tow truck, paramedic, etc that you make sure that they leave the scene and disappear. if you call the coroner and drive off and leave him there is a chance he wont disappear and will stay in memory causing an issue if you are trying to call them again. i have found that its sometimes easiest to leave bodies laying on the sidewalk. i only call the coroner if the body is laying in the road blocking traffic. the same with vehicles. if it is abandoned on the sidewalk or out of traffics way just leave it there :P if you still choose to remove every body i would suggest patrolling a small section instead of jumping around the map. at least in the smaller area of a couple blocks you can assure that all tow trucks, backup police, etc will disappear. i have no idea if this will help but i slowed my police helper activities down and i rarely have crashes. take an hour tonight and try what i am saying. just to see if your situation improves. if not come back and i will try to help more. good luck :D *on a side note to members..we are here to provide support and help. we are NOT here to talk down to them or make them feel like they are unwanted. we are also not here to enforce the rules or condemn those who don't. it has been my strong belief that if you are not offering an answer to the question posted, then you should move on without unwarranted comments. if there is a problem with a member let the mods handle it. that is what they are here for.
  13. okay i will be around here and there. i'll check back shortly to see how things went :D
  14. i just started using this one myself this week. is a really nice hud :D
  15. no problem. i have looked again today and i don't think there is anything that eliminates parked vehicles. after a few hours of searching i did find this: http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/realism-trafficpedestrian-mini-mod-f10688 from what i read it decreases number of parked cars at certain hours because people are "working" and not shopping so to speak. i have never used the mod but it looked like it might give you a little bit of what you are looking for without total elimination. give it a try and let me know how it works. also if you ever need anything feel free to message me at any time. i like to help when i can. i did notice ya do videos but ya don't do long patrols. ya should work on that and get some more subscribers :D quality of video sometimes isnt the only thing that gets viewers. good luck.
  16. hello there :) okay now that video combines two things that dont work together anymore so that probably is your problem. install GTA IV and then run the game to make sure that it runs good. then install LCPDFR automatically. make sure that you disable virus protection during installation to make sure that no components are blocked from being installed. after you have installed the police mod run your game again to make sure that you are good to go. if the game works then you will need to install ELS v8.5 not the version 8.0 shown in the video. you can technically still use that video as a guide. hopefully this will work for you. if it doesnt leave specific details of what happened and all that good stuff. good luck.
  17. hello :) i just wanted to ask exactly what was going on with your game. does GTA IV load up and play correctly with no mods installed? Have you installed any other mod besides LCPDFR? let me know what is happening and i'll try to help.
  18. if you use the simple native trainer located here http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-trainer-version-65-f2115 i believe you can disable cars and peds. Go to Options then click right with the arrows to take you to the second page of options. In that list there should be a Disable Cars option and Disable Peds option. i do believe it elminates all cars though so even traffic will stop spawning. i looked around and that is about all that i could find. hope it is somewhat what you were looking for :P
  19. okay good. im glad that worked. just make sure that when you install ELS that you install ELS v8.5. This contains an updated Advanced Hook. Also before you add ELS make sure you make a copy of your GTA IV folder. that way you have an entire back up copy in case your game messes up again :D
  20. i have had this problem in the past so i will try to help. i am guessing you use the trainer in this link here http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-trainer-version-65-f2115 just go step by step with your installation. once you reinstall GTA IV with the patch from Rockstar provided here: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese- once you have the game installed check it out to make sure it runs good. then install LCPDFR automatically. make sure you disable your virus protection while you are downloading and installing LCPDFR as some programs will block certain components from being installed. You should whitelist any part of LCPDFR so it wont be a problem later on :) after you confirm that your LCPDFR is working then install your native trainer. the only things in the trainer folder you need to install are trainer.ini and trainer.asi. do not install the scripthook files that come with the trainer. they are outdated and the ones that come with LCPDFR are new. now that is the exact way i re installed mine because i had the same issue. so let's hope it works. in the meantime, dont install ELS or anything else until we figure out what is going on here okay :) let me know if any of this helped your situation
  21. hi Glow. i couldnt figure out exactly what you needed lol. it sucks you are having problems with the taser. mine just works for some reason with pushing just T instead of alt T. i hope ya get help soon.
  22. after you install GTA IV from the disk then follow this link: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese- you will need to install that patch before you can download LCPDFR. once ya do those things try to start up your game and let us know how it goes. good luck :D
  23. this may be a stupid question but what happens when you try to use the trooper uniform when you first go to the police station instead of changing models through a trainer? the file is huge so its possible that the trainer gets overwhelmed processing it. im only guessing but i would guess that being able to dress your trooper piece by piece in the police station might be a little less strain. if you figure it out let us know so maybe the other guys using this mod will see it :D
  24. glad ya got your problem fixed :D what ya should do is make a copy of gta iv and kinda use it for "parts" i got a spare copy laying around in case i lose something. glad someone could help ya!!
