i would agree. reinstall GTA IV then check to make sure that the game is running fine on its own. Moncool gave the best advice you can give at the beginning so please follow his help. Also make sure you are running the game as administrator from your GTA IV folder. If you need any more help let us know.

i was just thinking that some of the callouts do have timers attached so that you must reach the scene in a certain time. for example, when responding to a suspicious vehicle you have so long before the bomb explodes. we used to also have a siggy you could use that actually showed how many arrests, citations, mess ups you had, etc but i dont know what happened to it :( in all honesty i used it for a while but when you run over so many people on accident its depressing to actually see a count :( haha.

omg i have so many... 1. i hate the noise that shampoo or ketchup bottles make when they are almost empty and ya gotta squeeze em :/ 2. i don't like McDonalds straws. they are too fat and when ya try to suck through them you almost pass out :( 3. i don't like the noise that two forks make when they are stuck together by their fingers :P HAHA 4. when people who know i hate onions tell me "you won't even taste em"..that is a lie. plus they have those little lines on em :(

well that i can't promise. crashes usually happen more if you use more mods. in my instance, it seems the more traffic on screen and more craziness the more crashes occur. i do know that those help me have a better gaming experience without having to get killed while doing a traffic stop :D so i guess that is a good trade off lol.

hello :) i actually had problems a while ago when i tried to use the tutorial. but if you can't get it fixed i will include a video of a guy on youtube who goes step by step and tells ya how to do things like aiming gun, etc. it should help just a little bit and give you an idea of what you need to do. actual game play is a better teacher but when ya can't get your tutorial to work this is the next best thing :P good luck!!

hello. i am just going to give some basic things to try to see if any of them can help you. What version of ELS did you install and did you install it after you installed the police mod? There is a possibility that you installed ELS version that has an older copy of advanced hook. What i would try is re installing LCPDFR so that file can be replaced. short of doing that you could check your GTA IV folder and see if you can find a file called oldsession.fr sometimes your game can crash and that file keeps trying to reload the damaged save. If you have that file remove it and try to reload the game again. also make sure you are running the game as administrator. those are the simplest tricks you can try to get things going again. see if they can help you and let us know.

hmm. one thing to try is go into your GTA IV folder and see if you see a file called oldsession.fr If that file is there delete it and try to restart the game. If that doesn't help come back and let us know.

hello there. while i don't know if there is any mod specifically designed to alter how a car pulls over, i do know of a few mods that you can use that will help ease the pain of a messy traffic stop. the first mod i use is called Breathalyser Script. It helps in a couple of ways actually. When you approach a car you press Shift B. Once you do that the mod will test him for alcohol. at the same time it makes the drivers car paralyzed. that car can't move and in the event that he was trying to flee, he will be stuck. Now, in the event he "flees" your traffic stop will end and you will need to extract him by aiming the gun and making him leave the vehicle. It also makes cars that are behind the traffic stop stay put in a single file line and keeps them from overtaking the other lane to pass. They sit and wait until the traffic stop is over. Once you get back into your cruiser you wave the traffic on. It really is a great mod The second one i use is POE or police officer extras. It actually does a few things but the one that i use is the speed radar. it catches the speeds of cars coming and going and displays them. but the nice thing about this is once you push the button to start the radar it stops traffic and a yellow blip appears on the screen. So what i do is when i start a traffic stop in a tight spot i turn the radar on so i can stop traffic. that way your area stays free and safe. Now this mod does not make cars sit in a single line like the other one does so there can be some craziness behind you lol. i hope this helps a little bit and you can understand my blabbering :P if you need help with either mod let me know and maybe i can help '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

i couldn't possibly see one reason why anyone alive today would be compensated for anything that happened in the 1800s. If we just look at the easiest way to test the feasibility of a case, we should not look any further than statute of limitations. While some may say that reparations would be appropriate, i don't think any court would or could issue such a verdict. A case would need witnesses to the claims, evidence supporting claims, etc. and in this day and age i would say no court could consider the notion of slavery as an actual crime. While many people say they were a victim of a crime, there still must be evidence provided for any crime in court. Most likely it would have to be on a case by case basis in order to prove someone was indeed enslaved. And, then you would have to decide if it was there was even a case to hear. At the time, slavery was legal so there is no basis for anyone to sue on. The notion that it's illegal now doesn't give anyone, even family members of slaves, the right to pursue any claim. I think anyone who has the idea to sue today is doing so for money and that is it. If these people wanted to teach the history of slavery they should maybe ask for a donation from the government to be made to educate about the history of black slaves instead of lining someones pockets. There is not one person that is living today that deserves an actual cash payment for something that happened way before their life even started.

well i hope you can get it running. so you say the only thing you have installed is LCPDFR? no mods or anything? i was telling another new member earlier that if you installed lcpdfr and then ELS you will have replaced an important Advanced Hook. The ELS version is old. So i am only trying to spot check errors that you might have :P

hmm while i have no idea what a public script error is i would like to ask why ya are doing a forceduty instead of going to the police station and starting instead? i used to forceduty sometimes too but i usually had a crash not long after. I can't say that is why but it only makes sense to start the mod how its suppose to be from the station so thats what i do everytime now. hopefully you can find the fix to your problem. also you can only have one or the other when it comes to Dsound or Xliveless. There are VERY FEW of us that can keep both and not crash..i can't explain that..but for 90% of us we only have one or the other.

hello great to have you back. okay now certain mods make others crash because some have updated parts and some dont. what i would do very first is reinstall GTA IV. run the game to make sure it plays and that everything looks good. if you can do the first mission go ahead and then do a save at your safehouse. then i would try installing the latest version of LCPDFR doing the auto install. remember once your game starts up press Alt P. Then you will get the confirmation whether the mod is working or not. if this doesn't work then get back to us and we'll go a little farther.

hello :) make sure that when you are installing LCPDFR you are disabling your anti-virus for a few minutes. There are several programs that will actually block some pieces of the mod from being installed. if the above post doesn't do anything to help what i would do is do a fresh install after you have temporarily disabled your anti-virus. It's a simple way to start searching for problems. Also make sure you are running the game as Administrator and not just clicking the GTA IV icon to start the game. good luck :)

hello :) remember that LCPDFR is a mod itself and all mods are technically unstable and will crash regardless. So the more you add the more chances of more crashes are likely. I use very few of the callouts myself. I use Wouters Callouts, Backup Callouts, and Callouts+ what i would do is remove your callouts and start fresh with just the LCPDFR mod. Then add one callout mod at a time and play each for a bit. there should be no question which mod is causing the crashes if you do this. it is quite possible that you won't be able to use every callout mod. With a little tinkering you should come up with some sort of middle ground. if you continue to have issues come back and let us know what is going on. also if you need more indepth help make sure you post logs that occur in the LCPDFR folder :)

a few of us have experienced different levels of lag depending on what system we are using. i am using an HP all in one and mine is running fine. I do have my CPU usage settings pretty low. I also use Game Booster 3 to stop all things that aren't needed while i am playing. If you were able to run the game with no problems before and its not working all of a sudden, then perhaps deleting the game and doing a system restore would be a good idea. then re install the game. of course this is just a suggestion. Hopefully someone else who is familiar with these problems can help better than me.
