  1. i know but this is so confusing. U are saying install 86 and 64 just to be clear right? Does he need both?
  2. k sounds good cuz I'm at work right now :D
  3. thanks for helping. Everybody else is working on gta v problems so there aren't many of us members left to help. It's just you and me taking shifts ha-ha :D
  4. lol the video is to show how to replace tires not to use that actual car. I know the model in the video isn't a caprice :P
  5. well i had noticed you recommended he remove Wasteland up there earlier so I started looking. It does say folder that contains radio chatter for Wasteland is missing. I was guessing that's a reason to remove it if parts of it aren't there. at this point I'm stuck to he honest...
  6. correction i see the Advanced Hook. I will keep looking here :/
  7. hello. there are a few things that we can try right off. first check your GTA IV folder for an oldsession.fr file. if you have one delete it and try to restart. if you don't have an oldsession.fr file then please check out this thread here http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/44888-lcpdfr-crashing-at-game-loading/
  8. is there any way you can take pictures of your GTA IV folder? i need to see exactly what you have in there. it is saying you are missing your MSVCR110.dll. so i'd like to take a look at a screen shot. there are so many variables that can happen here i want to make sure that you have downloaded everything you need.
  9. same here!! good night and we try again tomorrow haha.
  10. hello Ado. try downloading this and get back to me https://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/download/details.aspx?id=5555
  11. now that is a possibility. i had read the same thing about Realtek or something. but i wasnt going to mention that. i am not qualified to give that kind of suggestion. i do not wanna mess up anyones game on bad advice :P
  12. not sure but some GTA players may have had the same problem and posted over there. it might be a long shot but its entirely possible. this just doesnt make any sense. and the shitty thing is that noone has ever ever found a solution for it or even tried to that i can see. its definitely something that needs looked into more.
  13. no problem. what i would do is first when you install GTA IV do the first mission as i was talking about. then create a save at your safehouse. That should be the only Save you would ever need. then activate the police mod for the first time and go on duty.i am hoping that you get a good clean save. also you can contact Rockstar directly to see if they have any explanation of what might have happened. but keep me updated
  14. delete that oldsession.fr and any savegame.fr you have. either of them could be corrupt. then when ya launch ur game you will have to do the first mission. also do not save at any time while the lcpdfr mod is working because of the auto save. so start GTA IV after you delete both of those files. then do the first mission then go to the safehouse and save. after you do that then launch LCPDFR.
  15. idk if it could be the hard drive. i would think that even GTA IV sounds wouldnt work if it was the hard drive. i could be wrong but i wouldnt even know where to start with that :P right click on PoliceScanner and make sure the Read Only box is marked. i'm stumped. i have read article after article. the only other thing i can think of is restoring your system back to when it worked before you started the re installing process. something has happened between then and now. also in the GTA IV game main menu once you start the game go to the menu where it has the Sounds and make sure its marked Stereo. i found one article where someone had it on 5.1 and when he changed it back to Stereo it worked. who knows if it will work for you but its all i got left hahah.
  16. yeah see that leads me to believe that its something with the lcpdfr mod. either something wasn't downloaded or something. because we know normal GTA IV sounds do work. and since Calloutsplus works with LCPDFR it has to be that. when you go into your Police Scanner folder are there files in there? if you click on each sound does it play out of game? if we ever fix this it will be the first time that a sound file error has been fixed lol.
  17. you can press the CapsLock button to bring up the menu. it actually has alot of features from backup to telling your partner what to do. try that out and see if you can call backup through QAM without a crash. also if you start the game and press start go to the Graphics tab and see if you can change some things in there to lower your CPU usage. lowering water textures and shadows can dramatically increase the quality of your game. there are other things you can do in there to change CPU usage so just tick around in there and see what happens.
  18. okay so now the calloutsplus mod you are using do you get the audio on those callouts? or still nothing? also make sure in that LCPDFR notepad it says Enabled=True under Callouts. Are you still crashing or is everything playing well despite not getting LCPDFR callouts?
  19. sweet lemme know what happens. the more problems i can help fix the more i'll know so i'm glad to help.
  20. so from the sounds of things the mod actually starts up fine and runs good. but the callouts just disregard before you get there right? Go into your LCPDFR folder and look for the LCPDFR notepad. Open it up and scroll down and make sure it says this under Callouts. PreloadallModels=True As far as uniforms you will need to search the forum for which one you want. You will need to use Open IV to change uniforms :)
  21. hello ross. we'll need more information. does your GTA IV game work fine without the police mod? If so does the police mod start up at all for you? Explain what happens before you crash :)
  22. hello. sorry your problem hasnt been answered but this is one we can't figure out. have you been able to get sound at all since you last posted?
  23. dam. okay i was looking there and it looked like it crashed right after a getting a callout. it says invalid call to an object that doesnt exist anymore. maybe try this. install a callout mod like Bohan just temporarily. then set yourself as busy so you dont get any lcpdfr callouts. so technically you will only be responding to Bohan callouts. If you don't crash on these callouts we know it could be something to do with the lcpdfr callouts themselves. i'm grasping at straws here :P so i'm not sure what to expect. at least its a simple thing to try and we can remove bohan easily if we still get crashes. as far as the sound goes..i gotta say im stumped :(
  24. okay you can go into your ELS.ini file inside your GTA IV main menu. you are looking for ENV Lighting. that list of things are all tied to the lighting. also underneath that in Misc Settings you can adjust Fast Delay to make your lights flash faster. Now keep in mind too many flashing lights can crash your game. so just mess around with those a little bit and see which settings suit you.
i just downloaded this last night. its a really slick looking car plus its totally different. really nice job!
