I am not that new to installing LCPDFR, but yesterday I got a new Windows 8 desktop computer, I had to fix a lot of bugs in all this and that. I usually or almost never post on the forums because there's already one out there that has already been fixed but I can't find a fix for this particular problem and I could really use some help. So I have LCPDFR on my friends gaming PC and it works very well almost not bugs But so far that the same story for this PC, [Problem]- I get in to game start up my LCPDFR using Alt + P. Works then when I pull my car out of the station and or try to do anything related with LCPDFR it crashes opening the Errorreporter and not helping, so I go in to the "Diagnostics Tool" and find. Log Check- Log files checked, see report for more details (I do use ELS, and some mods with it if that helps. I DO NOT HAVE AN illegal version of this game) [Report]- (This opens up when ever I open the "Diagnostics Tool") It says One or more issues have been detected in your setup. Please try to fin the issues using solutions provided. I click one "Solutions" and it says "Double click a failed module to show possible solutions. In the "Open log file" tab it says: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [little more information] I have read many forums and have tried everything that they say especially Make sure you aren't using a crack - We don't support cracks or people using pirated softwareUpdate GTA IV to 1.0.7.0 (the latest version of the game, or 1.1.2.0 for EFLC) - These patches are needed. Make sure that you run the game as an administrator.Make sure that your GTA IV root folder (and every subdirectory) is not set to "read-only"Ensure that ScriptHook.dll, ScriptHookDotNet.asi and Dsound.dll OR Xlive.dll are in the GTA IV ROOT folderEnsure that there is a folder titled 'LCPDFR' in the ROOT GTA IV folder.Check that all the above files exist, if they do not, reinstall LCPDFR with the MANUAL installation.Ensure that you are using up to date versions of every LCPDFR dependency and LCPDFR itself.Install these: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 , https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?It did help but not in this case.
