​hello again :D the only thing i can suggest a complete re-install. i mean it would be better than not playing lol. perhaps the pc reset did something or erased something. its almost impossible to guess. if ya do a re-install and it doesnt work get back to me.

​i have been bangin ma head on the wall trying to figure this out. there just aren't many solutions without complete re installs. double check your ELS folder and make sure there is both a default control and slot control inside. make sure that inside slot control beside the vehicle is looks like this: Status=Yes also double check your main GTA IV folder that there is an ELS.ini file and ELS.asi file. make sure that if you are using ELS8 that the cars you are using were made for ELSv8 and not another version. if we cant figure this out i'll find someone way more knowledgeable to help. what other mods do you currently use?

Yeah I realized that hours later lol. Have u tried simple native trainer? Is what I use and its great!!!

Shoot :( I'm at work so I can't do much checking around but I'll see if I can help when I get home Have u thought bout uninstalling your cars then reinstalling els? Did u put the cars in after you had els installed? I know its dumb question but are the cars u using made for els v8.5?

in essence this was done to quell the loud moans of people saying the government is trying to take over the country. In alot of cases, citizens place cops and government in the same bowl unfairly. This is so two-sided..there are those people who will say "omg they are coming to kill us and take our guns" then the next batch "they are taking our equipment so we will get killed by criminals". there is no easy answer to this. for law abiding citizens with their heads on straight and no intention of committing a crime, the current police department equipment is just fine. for those who are expecting a government takeover or those who belong to a militia or a hardcore member of the NRA will complain we don't have enough equipment because it infringes on our rights. my opinion is that the President, regardless of who is in office, did the right thing. With all this crap going on about police brutality, i can't see how providing military equipment to officers could possibly ease the burden they are already currently under. Military grade equipment is just that..military grade equipment and that is exactly how it should stay.

​hello. i wanted to ask did you happen to alter your game or anything recently? does GTA IV play by itself? Is LCPDFR running at all? Check your GTA IV main folder to see if the Advanced Hook.dll is dated 01/02/2015. That is the most current version. If that is correct then perhaps try reinstalling LCPDFR. Let me know if that was your issue or not

​the best thing you can do is directly contact the maker of the script. They will be the only ones with those. There are a random few modders who share those but its not common. i am wondering are your scripts running good? are you having trouble getting calls? cuz i have shootings all day long haha. i never need to call for a shootout thankfully. Also remember you can use multiple callout mods. I use Wouters, Backup callout, CalloutsPlus, VIP Protection Unit, The Wasteland, Supervillans, and Bravehearts script all at once :D

​hello Luigi. okay it would seem that you are using ELS v8.0 from what i am hearing. The ELS v8.0 is outdated and the Advanced Hook will not work right with the current version of LCPDFR. What i would do is make sure you have a fresh installation of the current version of LCPDFR and then install ELS v8.5. Both have the updated version of Advanced Hook.dll If you would prefer to use ELS v8.0 instead of v8.5 simply install everything EXCEPT the Advanced Hook. The Advanced Hook in your GTA IV folder should be dated 01/02/2015 when you are done :) i hope this helps a little bit.

​i think this will just depend on how the car is made. some cars i've used have only secondary lights on J1..then bar lights on J2..then bars with wig-wags on J3.

​hello :) that is just a simple Trailer mod. it only works for semi trailers. So, that tells me that you should backup any files you have BEFORE you try to install this mod. Good Luck and i hope this helps.

​i have no idea if this will help but there is a mod that lets you use FBI and NOOSE and POLPATRIOT as regular slots. Now whether or not it will let AI cops use it also is not known to me yet. i think dbanker would be correct. i would also find a truck that drives great and spawns correctly and use that line in your handling. i just had a problem with the pstockade driving like a maniac when they pick up prisoners. so i installed the handling line from the cadillac escalade and now the pstockade drives better than ever. hope you are able to get this fixed :D on the other hand you said it has been doing it lately..is it the same pstockade that you have always used or did you recently replace it? if its the same one perhaps reinstalling the vehicle might help. also remember that if you use a car that comes with Handling file and you use that to replace the handling file in GTA IV you will lose all the other changes you have made to any other vehicles handling. what i do is if a car comes with a Handling file i only copy and paste the line i need from that file to the original Handling file in the GTA IV folder.

​haha glad it works. to use the cones you can press Control Z for barriers and i think Alt Z for flares. lemme know if that helps

​so when you go "off-duty" do you mean you go into GTA IV main menu and press Quit? or do you push Alt P to just stop the LCPDFR mod and continue playing GTA IV? also your log file will be in the LCPDFR folder that is in your GTA IV main folder. sometimes i have a feeling mods copy and paste without reading. if you need anything let us know.

​okay a few things can help here. when you call the tow truck are you using the vdH Police Helper? i would use that instead of using the keyboard buttons to call. There are so many key configurations for each mod that they become overlapped. You can also use a mod called POE that gives lets you stop traffic by pressing a single button instead of using the barricades. also a feature that Calloutsplus has that isnt necessarily advertised is that it can read plates of cars if you pull up behind them. My key bindings are weird so i have to push Alt V but i think yours will be Alt B. Lemme know if any of this works or if you need more help.
