i like the truck and i like that blue sign on the door. i'd almost like liberty city emergency medical services to be moved from the back door to under the sign on the front door. the writing just looks lonely on that door in the small type all by itself :P i would fill that space up on the back bumper between KEEP BACK. maybe either move them closer together so the space isnt so big or maybe put KEEP one one side of the license and BACK on the other. then you could put Emergency Medical Services on the bumper. if someone were driving behind that vehicle they wouldn't have any idea of what kind of car it is or why they would need to keep back. that was fun :) hope you can picture my idea. i still like it alot and i'll use it when its done!

hmm that doesnt sound right. i wouldnt ever recommend messing with command lines. i never have but i can only imagine what kind of horror it causes. the only thing at this point i would recommend is starting over. as bad as it sounds something was missed or deleted somewhere. like say i cant find one solved issue on this. if you do decide to re install GTA IV please make an extra back up copy. install only LCPDFR after your make sure GTA IV runs right. then before you add any other script or mod make sure that LCPDFR works perfectly. its the only way we can start pinpointing problems. make sure when you uninstall GTA IV and LCPDFR that you do it completely. delete any folders left over and maybe even run CC Cleaner to remove any registery files left behind. then start installing again. i wish i had another answer but i just dont :( i've been looking for about an hour now and there is just nothing more i can do for this problem. let me know if you decide to re install and i'll come back to help :) good luck man!! ( i am assuming to that since it skips intro that some files possibly are missing from there too. i've never ever had that happen)

okay i was checking out some other posts and i honestly can't find a solution. even the support team wasnt able to explain what was happening. can you play the files manually by clicking on each sound in the LCPDFR>audio>police scanner? also like Sheepish said earlier go to LCPDFR folder then go into the LCPDFR notepad that is right under LCPDFR Error Reporter. Open that notepad and make sure at the top it says this "AllTextMode=False" try to click on each one of the sounds and see if it works there. if it works there then maybe i can look up something else. but as of right now i've read people re installing and nothing happening even after that.

hello again :D welp i looked up some thing earlier but your problem is unique to me. however, i would remove the wastelands. at least for a minute. you have an error and a warning down there at the bottom that deals directly with the wasteland from what i can see. now like i was saying earlier i've removed callouts and re installed then and gotten better results. so even if Wasteland isn't technically being used it is being run and its having an issue from what i can see. another thing is to go car by car. does the crash happen when ur in a certain vehicle? i installed couple BMWs the other day and the ones work good but there is this one that as soon as i turned the lights on i crashed. i restarted the game, removed oldsession.fr and jumped right back into that same car and no problems. its hit or miss. but i'll help as long as i can :)

Winrar is a file unzipper that allows you to open files that you download. if this is your only problem then you are going to be good to go. download this http://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0 basically with this when you download something it will come out looking like a stack of books on your desktop. you will open it up and see the files. you then copy and paste those into a folder on your desktop :) use the big fat blue button at the top of that page to download the WinRar. its says "if you dont know what you are looking for then this is probably it" this should help!!!

hello could you run your LCPDFR diagnostic tool in the LCPDFR folder? it will help by letting us know if something is not installed right. it will give you five items and they should all be colored green. if any are red please let me know which one.

no just when you start playing GTA IV press start and go to the map section. then click over to Graphics. you can change them there. let me know if that helps at all. now if you decide you wanna keep using an ENB then its highly possible you would need to upgrade your graphics card. i would just not use the ENB and adjust your graphics in game.

i would agree with Lostand and iansonwheels. I also can not use an ENB because it drags my game to hell even though i have a decent computer. what i did was go into Grahic Settings in game and lower water and shadow textures to almost nothing. i also tweaked with everything else in there. you wanna try to get your CPU usage as low as possible there. Once you get some things lowered then you can raise the brightness up to 100%. in my opinion its just as good as an ENB. my game runs great and looks great despite losing water texture and shadows. give it a try and let us know. if you absolutey have to find an ENB we can try to find one that doesnt take up 100% of your comp :P

okay then run the diagnostic tool in the LCPDFR folder. it will tell you five things that you need installed and will also give you green lights on those things that are correctly installed and red lights for those that are not. run that and let me know the results :D

hello i will try to search around and see what i can find. one thing though try running the game without Razor and see what happens. I use Game Booster (used to i should say) because it seemed like when i would use it i had more crashes..like it was shutting down something i needed in game. i can't say for sure but i have way fewer crashes since i stopped using my Game Booster 3. another question is have you tried calling backup through the QAM instead of pushing Alt B or Alt N?

lol yeah i dont go there either so i uninstalled it. but i'm pretty sure that the mod still runs even though you aren't there. cuz when ya get in ur cruiser it says up in the corner Wasteland running. I have had simple fixes like simply ejecting the disk and pushing it back in. stupid fixes :/ im looking around the net to see what i can find. i almost think this is way too simple to start tinkering with folders and such just yet :P

now that problem i have had MANY times. basically i just chalked it up to the callout. from what i remember reading when it disregards often the reason is that it can't spawn the ped or vehicle that is supposed to be there when you arrive. some say its because of too much crap going on. what i would try is maybe taking out the callout that keeps crashing and see if that helps at all. it could be as simple as that. the only ones i have installed now are wouters, calloutsplus, and the policing script from braveheart and i still seem to be busy as hell all the time.

okay. i have been trying to think what could be causing that. because if it actually runs for a little bit then i'm thinking it has to be something that happens in game to cause it. is there a pattern when you crash? or is just any old time it wants :P i am no genius when it comes to logs but i don't see anything out of ordinary so to speak. did you add any high def cars or any mods right before it started messing up?

yup i agree!! Avast is what i use and it works perfectly. you just have to make sure to either whitelist lcpdfr or when you do a virus scan just dont do anything when the lcpdfr files are detected.

did you check to see if there was an oldsession.fr in your GTA IV main folder? if there is delete that and restart the game. if its not that we will have to look at something else.

hey quiggles. have ya been able to fix this? i have been thinkin bout it all day. i got home from work and i've looked all over the internet and nothing on Alt crashes. The only problem i've seen is an Alt Tab crash thousands of times :P you said that GTA IV works fine. what happens if you push Alt in just normal GTA IV with no police mod installed? does it crash still? i was wondering just so we know if its a GTA IV problem or an LCPDFR one. have ya thought about testing out an older version of the mod to see if that one will work? would kinda narrow things down a bit i guess. but good luck ova there!

hello provident :) i will need to get a little more information from you. do you have any other mods installed or just LCPDFR? can you run the diagnostic tool in the LCPDFR folder and let me know which ones are still red?

hmm i wanna help but i have no idea what you mean :P do you have WinRar installed to open your ELS file? i also cant figure out what you mean with the vehicle mod installer. are you talking about Open IV? give me more details and i will try to help :)

what about if you press ~ and type forceduty? It's a way around pushing alt p.

okay lets start with a clean copy of GTA IV. make sure the game works and that you are able to play. if the game plays good then install the lcpdfr. please disable your virus protection because some programs will block certain parts of the police mod from being downloaded and installed. if that happens you are dead in the water right there. once you download and install run the mod to make sure its working. this video is a decent one to help install the mod. hopefully you can get your game going. if it does please come back here and i'll help you install ELS 8.5 and Trainer without conflicts hopefully.

hmm i cant tell anything from that logfile. so when you start GTA IV by itself does it play right? if so when you start the police mod do you get to the police station and get a uniform on? what error does it give you? does the error come with a specific number and detailed description?
