Woman helps ends high speed chase
I can feel that guy, when I'm fleeing from LCPD I really hate maneuvering between lanes, cause I always hit other cars. He'd better use a bike next time

Should the US pay reparation to the descendants of slaves?
FinKone is right. I agree with paying everyone who was a slave a compensation. Guess not much of them is around tho. About modern slavery. Compensations shouldn't be the government's responsibility. The state is responsible for upholding the law, so if right now someone is enslaved the perps must be found and prosecuted. However any compensation should be sought in a civil lawsuit to the wrongdoer, not to the state.

What about Roman Empire? They enslaved so many people from all over the world, I imagine Italian government would be pleased to pay everyone.

Should the US pay reparation to the descendants of slaves?
How stupid this all is. In Russia we had slavery too, my ancestors were slaves. That doesn't prevent me from getting where I am now without putting my hand in other people's pockets. Stop begging for money, go find some work. Jeez, modern news scare me even more than school-shooting stories.

GTA V modding in the future? If so could LCPD:FR Also become LSPD:FR?
The only mod I want for now is to be able to throw the empty weapon away, like in all previous games. With no need to buy weapons there's no point in earning money in this game, apart from rare property purchases... No, two mods: to fix this goddamn Interceptor livery. However, I think I'll have to wait at least several months before some decent car mods released. When was the first modded car for GTA IV released, I wonder.

California Deputies On Leave After Beating
Maybe when another generation of cops will take their places, this kind of behavior will cease. Here in Russia despite all the police reforms the vast majority of cops are those who served during 90's, when gangs were on the loose and violence was the only way to solve problems. Of course they keep this attitude and pass it t younger officers.

Look what came in the mail today
Poor kid, you got a speeding ticket? The only pig here is you. I also don't get why this thread got so many negative replies. It isn't about forming a militia or ordering a pepper spray in shape of a gun. I myself like collecting weapon models, so guess you're lucky to have it, mate :)

New self defense tool coming soon.
On a side note a crime committed with something that simply resembles a weapon can seriously harden your punishment, and in case a victim has a reason to believe it is an actual weapon it can double your prison term (in our jurisdiction). So playing a nice joke with this thing may end up the wrong way even if you won't get shot. I'm starting to love this idea.

New self defense tool coming soon.
Wow, didn't know that. So pepper spray might be illegal there too?

I'd prefer to carry nothing which remotely looks like a gun in America. If you have something that looks like a gun be prepared that everyone will treat it like a gun. In Europe this might work though. 7 years ago me and my friend were walking through Munich outskirts when some thugs began threatening us, so my friend took his airsoft gun, which they mistook for a real one and fled.

Officer shooting man as he runs away
Heh, this time Russian law would have protected the cop. Here it is legal to use a weapon to stop a fleeing criminal, who have committed a serious offense (if he really attacked the cop with a taser, it is a serious offence here). I remember the French Connection movie, the first one. When Popeye shoots the fleeing guy in the back. I read that a cop who was consulting the filmmakers said that shooting a perp in the back is plain murder, and IRL Popeye would be guilty of it. I side with all the reasonable people here: this one was not justified, at least according to what we know. Anyway, just read those lines: Yep, massacre people during lunchbreaks. Oh journalism oh my.

Better paramedic driving
Apparently we who cares about police, law enforcement, realism, are the minority among GTA players, friend. In GTA V R* didn't even care to code the injury system and the ability to revive.

[API][WIP/REL] Callouts+ - Additional LCPDFR API Callouts
Just encountered two weirdest things while playing your callout. First was rather cool actually. It was an ordinary traffic accident call. The drivers at this call can't be stopped by any means except shooting (btw, maybe you could make them react to simple orders rather than guns or taser? When taser is used, other driver leave their cars and clutter the road). So I pull my gun out and one of them hits me (!), gets in his Feltzer (!) and drives off, and I can't activate the pursuit. Nevertheless I chase him and pull him over just as a regular car, but he turns so abruptly that he hits a tree and crashes the car. The car turns out to be stolen and he was wanted, but I've never seen this outcome of an RTC callout. Second was plain weird. I placed a new barrier and got in my car and suddenly just stuck in the middle of the road in front of the barrier, being unable to leave or move. My cruiser had his stop lights on and looked just like NPC vehicles when they stop.

LCPD:FR Prison
Aren't convicted criminals transported by the corrections service? Anyway it would be nice to see the prison involved in calls.

The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car Thread
Even being in the first half of XX century didn't stop Americans from putting as many lights up there as possible :D BTW, does anyone of your fine gentlemen in our nice thread know what did NYPD use to transport prisoners back in 1940's? I even contacted the admins of police.ny once, but even with their aid I didn't find a reply. All the paddy wagons on the site are dated 1960's or later. The only thing earlier is this
