  1. You know, 200 years ago in Maryland thinking about freeing black people was wrong. Somehow you manage to ignore almost everything that was said here, including criminal statistics, pointless enforcement of illegal prostitution, various possibilities to organize it safely, etc. Never saw you replying to any of the above except saying "morale is good, don't have sex for money" and "I don't want to see it so it should be illegal". However, since the discussion is now about claiming things right or wrong, that's gonna be my last post here unless someone with a rational argument shows up.
  2. Welcome to the USSR, friend. When someone starts thinking for me what I should do if I am married and what I should think, it's time to look for your red flag and Stalin's picture. >This isn't a moral or an opinion, it's a fact. >Sex with no emotion is pointless and disgusting. Sorry, is that a fact? It is the very opinion of yours. You don't like sex without love, fine, don't have it. I've never been in love for 21 years, so you think I should be a monk then? > The purpose of sex is to show great emotion and affection for another individual I fuck you because I want to show how I am affected for you. Hmmm, a nice conception. I used to buy gifts to show my affection, but sex is much cheaper. You sound awfully selfish and egocentric in this thread, evaluating everything from your point of view. The main job of the government should be to protect people and property, not to enforce "moral values" and tell me what to want.
  3. I understand your point on this issue. I was trying to draw attention to the fact that keeping prostitution illegal doesn't help much to combat it, while making it legal could. If a legal brothel is operated by a legal organization, you could obtain info on this organization, company charter, founder's name in your local company registration office, sue the owner or make a complaint. The owner will loose his license and close his operations, and the possibility of this should keep him straight. Fighting illegal brothels - just like drugs - is almost useless, because it takes a bit more than your second amendment rights. Too much money is made on human trafficking and prostitution and too many people are involved in it.
  4. It's OK to be romantic when girls love you :D Yeah. Sure. Whatever. You nicely selected my final words and missed the rest. Guess it counts as an answer itself.
  5. yeah, morality is such a flexible thing. When a person is fired because his organization was shut down due to management failures, he stops making payments and find himself on the street, that's completely moral for you. On the other hand, if someone willingly sells him or herself, that's immoral. At least, when it's legal and organized and you hear loud moaning from the apartment next door, and it offends you, you can call the police, and the legally organized brothel will face troubles. An illegal brothel will be shut down, but next night it's gonna be open again, and some tall bald guys will show up at your door to speak about privacy.
  6. Define morality from the legal point of view please. Is foreclosing people's houses and leaving them on the street moral?
  7. You're talking right now like legalization of prostitution doesn't exist at all while it does in some European countries, where it is a regulated profession with its representatives and codes of conduct. Like all potentially harmful to human health areas like food production, medical services, it should be regulated, employees should be examined by medics, and so on. To all those who consider this "immoral": well, how does that help combating prostitution? If its legal they'll be scared of violating laws of their profession. If its illegal there's nothing to loose. And finally, morale is a weird thing. Just because I can't get a girlfriend you wanna prosecute me? :D Specially to CK: I'm not talking about having sex in cars, public places, streets, stairwells, and all that. But the prostitution in whole should be legal and regulated.
  8. I think yes it should, with established health standards and permits and monthly medical evaluations. They also shouldn't be able to solicit clients as CK described. And I need those customer protection rules extended her, 'cause if she was awful, I want my money back.
  9. Baltimore, my sweet B-more. 1926, supervisor on patrol 1935 Chevrolet Buick Accident Investigation cars And a 1942 AID Packard. Guess AID liked their cars rich. 1947 International. A van, because I love vans. I also was surprised to learn BPD used black vehicles at all. Supposedly Chevrolet, not Buick. Note the license plate. Another black van. 1951 Chevy Cruising patrol 1959 Ford Safety patrol! Guess B-more had all kinds of patrols lol. The tires are nice too. Patrolman proudly posing near a truck. We always come to help with your relations.
  10. It would be easier to discus the elections if you could provide us with some basic information regarding the candidates. I read news about Israel, but don't know their political world too good. The only well-known name is Netanyahu and I think he's good.
  11. Once I had an ambo flagged as wanted after they arrived at the scene and took off, I had to arrest the driver. But those firemen surely know how to have fun.
  12. "Sir, did you include me in the team because of my ass? 'Cause I think so". Probably speaking to him directly is not an option. I'd tell everything to my parents and let them deal with the problem.
  13. All I know is that Connecticut troopers use that scheme till now, just but some lights and a "state police" plate on the front or rear. Guess they save a lot of money on painting. Also guess impersonation cops in this state is as easy as can be.
  14. Mean Hystery so mean :D My detective sense tells me that there's a question mark missing, like "realistic police lights?" No, they aren't. While we're on that, non-ELS always looks better :3
  15. Generally speaking, there's no blip, you have to canvass the area to find a car that fits the description, then you'll get the red blip. Suspect's vehicle doesn't stay in the yellow area, it moves. And pretty fast. I used helicopters for the vehicle with a tracker call, works fine. Ordinary patrol does the job too. If anything else doesn't work, just don't accept them, there's absolutely no need for removing anything... To Luke: could you make the dispatch tell the model of a car in the vehicle with a tracker call? Makes a bit easier looking around.
  16. This talk about how bad blacks are reminds me of my days in B-more again. As you may know B-more is 60% black, and my boss was black too, his name was David and he was from Africa (born there, but raised in the US). Now this guy was one of the best supervisors I knew. Not only he always behaved in a calm and polite way, he cared about us. Once I failed to accomplish a task 'cause I didn't know what to do. So David approaches me, does the work and says "Hey, now you do know". In personal life he was a rather smart fellow. He never took loans or credits or phones with credit, because he didn't trust them. He wanted to be a Marine but his mother didn't allow that so he studied computer science to become an engineer. And there also was a guy, a student like me, from China. I thought chinese are good at work but this guy was awful, he constantly fought with David and me (we had to work together), and generally was a piece of shit. I even though about calling some police on him but resorted to a simple violence instead lol. Tl:dr the point: race generally doesnt make people good or bad, community does though. It takes guts to become a different person than anyone around. If everyone in your town drink, cheat, fight, and try to deceive a tow truck driver, it's hard to grow up a different guy. In Russia there are many places with only Russian population but all that Slimory described happens there too.
  17. I read about Shomrim (the ones in the pics above) that they have some disagreements with NYPD, they tend to deal with perpetrators by their own means without calling the police, which is illegal. Lightbars are good to make cars more visible, I think. When I was in B-more, I worked in a security company and our cars had lighbars (though I never saw them on). However, I'm strongly against any visual similarities with police vehicles, like shown in the pics above. No one should try and imitate a government agency. If you want some patrol cars for your neighborhood group, paint them in an other way. Once I got pretty confused and mistook Shomrim patrol for NYPD. That shouldn't happen.
  18. Yep. Let me tell you a story: several years ago GameStation company pulled a joke on users by adding "I hereby sell my eternal soul to the Company". Those who refused to accept the agreement got a five pounds voucher, however almost everyone didn't notice this clause. So from that moment I do read all the agreements! :D
  19. according to the test drive results, T32 can hit it from the side, but from an extremely close range. Front is impervious to anything, lol.
  20. If anyone still plays it, how do you deal with a Maus? Can't really find a way around those creatures. 200-mm armor isn't something to be taking lightly...
  21. He volunteered to wear a body camera because he cared how people feel. He volunteered to stop two armed suspects because he cared about people too. Just as he volunteered to protect people in the first place. It's so sad people like him die..
  22. How can a flag even be offensive? I mean, if that's a flag with bold letters saying "immigrants go home" that does hurt. A flag itself - of any nation - can do no bad. Well, at least all normal people are warned now. Be careful while visiting California, you might get banned.
  23. 13/13 And then I realized that's because I am Russian. Sucks.
