I think I already have to stop it seeing how much I need to do and how little is done, but I just don't have the guts. I also suspect that once I start working full-time (for lawyers that means around the clock) I'll have no time for roleplaying and games might loose part of their charm for me.

When I learned that CT moderators literally download and check all the uploaded content I was astonished. Considering how many files are out there it could take whole day just downloading, checking, and approving mods. So the way I see it moderators don't have to waste their time now -> they have more time to patrol the forum -> everything gets better ^_^

Just had an EPIC manhunt when I received a 'stolen vehicle with a tracker' call. I was too late to find him so I spent like 20 minutes frantically driving across the city. Finally I got fed up, headed to the FIA, and got the Annihilator. Had to blow up the car to stop it though, hope it's insured.

I was impressed by Agent Mulder so I decided to be law enforcement. But guess my level of being a fan is zero compared to this guy

I play without a partner because the guy really is kill-hungry, then it's baton time and I'm assaulted with fists he always starts shooting, traffic goes mad, crushes my car, and I have to drive several miles to Algonquin to repair.

Yes, I do, I also run LtFlash's The Wasteland, ALM, Coroner mod, some non-ELS cars, and ped mods by Yard1 (I guess). In earlier versions I always crashed after approaching the fallen cop, but just yesterday after installing the latest patch ir was fine. Checked the cop, located the perp, chased him through the city and then shot dead.

Will there be an option to enable this call? Works flawlessly for me and it's fun to search for the perp

True, it would look silly repairing a car in a parking slot. I'll look for something that can realistically pretend to be a municipal repair facility (police cars are usually repaired in workshops, not at stations anyway)

LukeD, being almighty as you are, can you make a repair point somewhere in Broker and Alderney too? It just doesn't make sense to repair the car in another state and I'm not much fan of trainers.

USSR came to its end because of an economical failure, everything else is just a consequence. Any attempts to secede earlier were ruthlessly suppressed. Yeah, so if you want to stop NK, stop China first, and considering its economy is inferior only to the USA it will be hard.

Not much, actually. When GTA San Andreas, the best GTA-franchise game was announced, I was still in school and me and friends were excited as hell. Those fucking teasers: Los Santos, Gangs, rap, sea, dawns, planes, police cars, SWAT... I remember getting crazy when my friend lend me his illegal copy (there was no legal copies of GTA SA in Russia till 2011 if I remember right). Oh shiiiiet, this city, those streets, it was awesome, I played the damn game for months non-stop and then some, again and again. GTA IV was announced. It was a great thing too. Something completely new. No more cardboard people with square fingers and unbreakable cars. New Liberty City. New step in the GTA era. I can't say I was that impressed with the game itself, really, but I was awaiting the release very much and was counting days. Now... Is there anything new and heart-stopping in GTA V? Better graphics, yes. First-person view (fuck if I care). Online mode? That's a fun thing but really doesn't matter much, I have plenty online games to play. Storyline? Well I knew it already even I never tried to read spoilers. All in all the game is much less cares about the atmosphere and is more arcade now, similar to GTA SA, but lacks its charm. Just another next-gen game mainly for consoles. However I secretly hope that when I install that game, take a ride in a Camper to meet a sunrise on the shore, I'll love it as much as I did the GT SA. I noticed also (no offence meant) that GTA V is mainly awaited by young people, like 14, 16, etc., who are used to high-quality graphic and all that fancy things. Guess I'm just an outdated oldtimer lol.

I've just changed my mind. LAPD lightbar is ugly as it is so those plate-readers make it look a bit better. At least they look unusual. If they work better this way it's a win-win.
