  1. That's okay, I'll remove your other topic and keep this one open.
  2. One of my university friends has a project for their business course where they need to obtain data for a presentation with a survey. If you have 2 minutes to spare, I would appreciate it if you could quickly fill this out (it's just some tick boxes and a few one line text fields). https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHhHRjFYMlhnV0ZyN3BtMFh2U0Z1UkE6MQ As a little thank you, anyone who fills it out and replies below will be given 10 reputation points. Thanks, Sam.
  3. Make sure that you have the files and .ini's set up correctly, and then make sure that you actually change the .ini values to increase stability. First, change the random dispatch lines so that only one of the .ini files will handle it, (i.e. set the chance to 999 or what ever in all the other ones) Secondly, change the timer intervals, so that they are all different.
  4. Just run as many copies of traffic flow as you need. It's simple, rename the .dll and .ini to TFM1.dll and TFM1.ini, then duplicate those, renaming the new files to TFM2.dll and TFM2.ini and so on. You can then have 40 slots with two files, 80 with 4, etc etc.
  5. We don't support 2GB RAM because the absolute minimum for GTA IV and EFLC is 1.5GB. Obviously, LCPDFR puts extra stress on the game due to timers, internal function calls, object/ped/vehicle spawning, and memory hacking, and it puts extra stress on your system due to variable and data storage. As a result of this, we highly recommend that you run LCPDFR on a system with more than 2GB of RAM.
  6. It's a shame because something like this is really hard to prevent, if someone is hell bent on killing a cop and he has the shotgun to do it with, then it's really hard to stop it as all it takes is a scenario like this, a lone officer sitting in his car, guy comes up with shotgun, boom. The worst bit is the part of it that can be prevented though, it's painfully obvious that beyond all of the public commitments and promises by politicians and the force, Rathband was given only minimal levels of support and Northumbria Police and the British government completely failed in their duties to be there for him after this incident.

  8. I played a bit of OA back when it came out, and it was really fun with the editor and stuff, but I just couldn't play the campaign for the HORRIBLE, and I mean ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE radio audio sounds. They completely killed the immersion for me, it was far too obvious that each word was its own sound file, and they all had different amplification and emphasis and it was just oh so disgusting. After being told to "ENGAGE that MAN" twenty odd times, I just ragequit the campaign as it just killed the entire experience for me, it was terrible. Another thing is the muzzle flash when you fire a gun, they were exactly the same every time you fired, with seemingly only one muzzle flash texture per gun, which was horrible (especially in first person view). 9. @ Everyone saying this is breaking their game, it's because you are rebuilding the archive after installing.DO NOT REBUILD THE INT_DOOR.IMG ARCHIVE -- JUST CLICK SAVE INSTEAD.
  10. I think the sides are quite bold and strong and look fine, but the top has too much text. Think of it in practical terms, what do you actually need on the top? A unit number? A police marking? Anything at all?
  11. Feel free to upload your mods to our downloads section if you want, you can then manage them and update them with ease and get them promoted a little bit more. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/category/10-vehicle-modifications/
  12. As of right now, the current plan is for the next version of LCPDFR to be RC3, which will simply contain a big bunch of bug fixes, and very little in the way of new content.
  13. University is in Stirling, home is Edinburgh, they are about 45 minutes drive away. I stay at university for the week and usually come home at weekends.
  14. It's fairly average really. I'm at university 5 days a week so I do stuff with my friends and classmates there, and when I go home I catch up with old friends from school and stuff like that. Not hugely into clubbing or that sort of stuff as I don't drink (alcohol), but it's easy to have good times none the less.
  15. There is already a call out with the security guys actually, which was added in 0.95 RC2 and features a shootout involving airport security at the Francis International Airport fuel storage area.
  16. It goes back many, many years to my days of playing an online FPS called WarRock (www.gamersfirst.com). I met up with a couple of people on it and we started a clan together, G17, which if I remember correctly, stood for Glockage 17 (cause we all quite liked to plug people with some Glock spray). We kind of moved onto other things after K2 Network (the community managers or whatever for the game) started their "GamersFirst" bullshit and became increasingly money hungry. I did a couple of crappy videos under the tag G17 Media, and I guess it just continued on from there.
  17. Depends what you mean by a radar mod, be more specific.
  18. The modification alone is simply compiled source code, which is our intellectual property. We could therefore, quite easily, charge for LCPDFR. Even still, it's not like Rockstar allow mods only if they are free, as they don't support mods full stop.
  19. Sam replied to AlconH's topic in Media
Well LCPDFR isn't a game, so it wouldn't have a rating or anything like that on it, and it also wouldn't have R*'s logo as that's their copyright and has no place on our software.

Okay, here's the deal. I'm happy to let you stay on the site so long as you stop posting spam and creating new accounts. You say you only come here for downloads, that's fine, I understand - we do have a lot of content. Just please stop trolling and posting crap, it's really not resulting in anything productive. I'm just going to delete all of your other accounts, and you can keep this one. If you start with your antics again, then I'll just ban you. I think that's a fair deal.
  22. So long as you stop creating new threads and being a complete douche, we can let this rest.
  23. Whoops, you missed the sarcasm, buddy!
  24. Guilty as charged?
