JUst need some help

Featured Replies

Well I downloaded the LCPD:FR and it's working great. I really don't know how to use the keys though. When I downloaded it, it didn't tell me how to PLAY the game. Like I had to find out from other peoples comments that like ctrl+p is to go on duty, and then when an incident happens, it would tell me how to do things then. Where does it say IN WRITING, what all the keys are.

Not to mention people say that going on Duty will give you an officers uniform. Nuh uh, didn't do it for me. I had to download SNT and even then it doesn't have a cops uniform. I think SNT is great because now when I have to shoot someone, I won't gain damn stars.

Also where do I get POLICE uniforms? Another site? And would I copy the "uniform" file into models folder or what? I also downloaded SPARK IV and since I have the game on Steam and not from an actual disk, it says I need to select the directory and when I select it, it lags out and won't continue. Do I NEED SPARK in order to download player model skins?

Other than these problems, it's great. But I really wish someone could reply to my questions. I see other threads and no one really gives them help.

You have to go to a police station to go on duty. Ctrl+P Alt+P (not Ctrl+P) only starts the mod. It says this, too. When you hit Ctrl+P Alt+P, it says "Go to a police station to go on duty".

EDIT: Ctrl+P AFTER Alt+P will force you on duty. This is not how the mod is intended to be played. You NEED to hit Alt+P, and then, if, for whatever reason, you don't want to have to go to a police station, you have the OPTION of Ctrl+P. That will not give you a police model, voice, or car (which is why you should go to a police station instead).

It's alt+P, ctrl+P forces duty.

That's okay, I'll remove your other topic and keep this one open.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

As far as I know, spark is the only way to edit player models. There are other programs that will allow you to add vehicle models, but I think Spark is the only one for player models.

Well I had NO clue about the police station Alt+P. And after doing that I now got the officer uniforms and everything I needed to do this. It's great! Also unlocked the whole map so everything is great since you guys told me about this!
