The reason that it is ALT + T is because T is used to zoom out on the minimap. It is annoying if you draw/holster the Taser when all you want to do is look at the map.

Damn this guy is good. I think we should ban him for compromising our countdown :(

    I don't see any countdown :S

  7. Yeah, I have some really fond memories of SA-MP, and must've clocked up over 3,000 odd hours on it.

  11. There are quite a lot of mods and modders that I have tons of respect for, Lt.Caine, PFCBarefoot, KevinDV to name but a few. As far as individual mods go, San Andreas Multiplayer is definitely one of the best mods ever made for any GTA game, and by the far the best made for SA. It's amazing how much they've managed to achieve with just memory hacking alone, and to have such a vibrant multiplayer community that is actually breaking it's online player count records as we speak, despite the fact that the game has been out for over 6 years is simply incredible. I'll give PPM a mention as well as I think that it actually gave us a bit more motivation back in the day, which got us to where we are now. Obviously there was a sense of competition between us both which was obviously a good thing for both mods at the time.

Put simply, if you have no respect for our community guidelines, our community will have no respect for you. http://www.lcpdfr.co...ity-guidelines/ Oh, by the way, I hear that Rockstar North are looking for some new developers. Why don't you go apply, I'm sure that your javascript will come in really handy! Sucks that they are looking for people with a "positive attitude" though :( https://www.rockstar.../rockstar-north

You seem to have a lot of complaints about the mod, but you have absolutely nothing constructive to say. You have some fair points about a few of the bugs that the mod has, but there is nothing that we are not aware of, so why you have to bitch about it, I really don't know. As for your "stupid mistakes" section about your objection to the prisoner transport being called prisoner transport, I think that you will find that in the US, when transporting an arrested subject, virtually all agencies and officers will simply refer to it as prisoner transport. To bitch about something like that is just a waste of everyone's time. You obviously are looking for something realistic, but you forget that you are playing GTA. Let me remind you that GTA is meant to be you working for the bad guys, not arresting them, so we are sadly limited in what we can do as this is a mod, not a game. My suggestion to you would be to go and learn some programming languages and make your own mod exactly to your liking. Alternatively, you could go try Police Pursuit Mod, and then come crawling back over here when you realise that you actually get it pretty good with LCPDFR.

  16. Domestic violence, it's the newest callout, doesn't rely on old, messy code, and is easy to edit/add to :P
  17. I don't remember anything about a hostage situation.
  18. I have absolutely no problems of this nature whatsoever.
  19. I had a little play around with 3dsmax a few days ago (yay for student email address), and I managed to detach the cop belt andfbi badge and export them as their own objects. Now I can attach them just like any other object to peds through SNT. Result:
  20. It's probably my highest priority as far as running the site goes, and is one one of the things that I really do pride myself on - maintaining a friendly, approachable and professional staff team. I think it is one of the things that we have gotten absolutely right on the site, and I think that it is what makes this community so special - there is no barrier or anything between our staff and our members, we all just get along and have a good time. As such, I keep the staff team completely invite only, and only make changes to it when necessary.
  21. I'm not the best programmer in the world, I'm pretty sure that Jay and LMS will agree with that. I know VB.net, and I started working with C# around 6 months ago. As far as the web goes, I am fairly competent in HTML and CSS, and I do the theme edits and such for our site. I'm also pretty competent with Pawn (the horrible backwards piece of shit language that it is), and have scripted for someSA-MP servers with it (most notably GPM's FCRP v3). I really, really wouldn't want to code a game, but if I knew how to, I would definitely go for an open world game.
  22. If we ever wanted something like this, we have our own dedicated server which we could put it on.
  23. It's pretty damn cool being the creator of the mod, but it hasn't really changed much as far as my day goes. Generally I try to work on something every few days, and sometimes it means a coding marathon until 6am.
