  1. It shouldn't be, no.
  2. Yes, download the x86 version when it asks after clicking the download button.
  3. And what version of Windows are you running?
  4. You're using an outdated AdvancedHook. Can you reinstall LCPDFR using the manual installer? Be sure to click yes if it asks to replace files.
  5. Looks like you're running LCPDFR 0.95 RC2?
  6. What operating system are you using? Make sure you have these installed: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30653 And try using the manual install of LCPDFR as well.
  7. These? http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30653
  8. What version of GTA IV are you running? What operating system are you using? And please install these: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30653
  9. As ineseri said, please install these: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679 http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30653
  10. Can you make a support topic about this and give us the logs in it please? Nope, but there are some speech options available: Pressing shift while in pursuit will shout angry pull over warnings. You can use the Quick Action Menu to provide dispatch with a pursuit update. We'll add more speech in future versions.
  11. What operating system are you using? Additionally, please install these: Download and install: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30653 Download and install: http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=30679
  12. Post this is LCPDFR support next time as well please. I've moved it for you. LCPDFR relies on vehicles having a police flag set on them, I'm pretty sure this means only the default slots will work. We might be able to add more compatibility for this in the future.
  13. Would it be too much to ask you to install the mod on a clean install of the game, and then add your mods back in slowly, one at a time, making sure to test that everything works each time?
  14. What operating system are you using? And is AdvancedHook.dll in your root GTA IV folder?
  15. And what other modifications do you use?
  16. This is a known problem and we're looking into it. Just don't use this feature for now, and if you want, disable the key so you don't accidentally press it. (Read the LCPDFR User Guide for more about this, although all you have to do is go to LCPDFR.ini in the LCPDFR folder and set the toggle siren key to none instead of divide).
  17. Funnily enough, we actually had more problems with RC2. There's seemingly only 4-5 main problems preventing people from running the mod this time. Back in RC2 it was a nightmare, and you can probably look back into the archives and see for yourself!
  18. I think this is explained in the user guide. TLDR: Unsupported, and scripts in mutliplayer which affect NPCs are always REALLY buggy, but LCPDFR comes with some memory fixes to enhance your MP experience, but not yet with full support.
  19. The second audio warning doesn't matter - those audio files don't exist in the game, they're just debug messages left in I think. Only be concerned if it says it actually tried to play something (e.g. the IO error line there). When it can't find the street audio, it will play the area audio instead.
  20. Its to do with the components of the ped. We foolishly only set up some of the systems that deal with ped components (most prominently the character selection when going on duty) to work with the default peds, without testing to make sure it was compatible with modified peds. As far as I know, none of our testers had any problems with this, and as such it's something we don't find out about until the public release. Best thing to do is use the original files for now.
  21. Alright, try the following: Download and install: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 Download and install: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 There's no problems with using WIn 7 64 bit, that's what I use on my PC, where much of LCPDFR has been developed.
  22. For those who don't have backups of their ped files, I've added copies of the default ones, along with their data files and props, to the first post.
  23. Are you using modified ped models? It looks like you are. If so, can we recommend that you temporarily switch back to the default ped models and variations (including the pedprops files) while we work on fixing the problem with modified peds. Secondly, I'd also recommend that you upgrade your processor. GTA IV is really processor hungry game because of the way it was ported to PC, and an i5 at 3.0 GHz doesn't quite cut it.
  24. UPDATE: 16:00 GMT, Sunday 29 Dec 2013: We've been informed that LCPDFR 1.0 does not support any versions of Windows XP - Microsoft is phasing out support for Windows XP and as such, the .Net Framework 4.5 is not compatible with it. We are now aware of this and are looking into alternative solutions. We do, however, highly recommend that if you are still running Windows XP, you should upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8, as it is a 12 year old operating system and many applications, programs and systems no longer support it. Hi everyone, For those of you experiencing problems with LCPDFR 1.0, here's a quick update about what we're doing to try to put things right: Firstly, when making support topics, it is absolutely essential that you post your LCPDFR.log, AdvancedHook.log and AdvancedHookInit.log. If these log files do not exist, please say so in your support thread. Do not post a support thread without either including these or saying they don't exist - it is very hard to help you when we have to reply asking for these logs, slowing down everything. Next up, we've noticed that a considerable amount of issues with LCPDFR 1.0 are arising from modified ped models. This was something that we overlooked, sadly, and we hadn't anticipated any problems of this nature as in the past, it was vehicle modifications which caused the most trouble. In any event, we'll do what we can to release a fix for these problems as soon as possible. See the bottom of this post for an archive with the default police models. props and data files. Thirdly, there's some issues regarding the Taser and the AdvancedHookInit.asi not being able to inject the data file lines for the Taser files. While this should work on systems where everything is correctly installed, where the file permissions on the GTA IV directories and files are NOT set to read only, and where the game is being run as an administrator, we do have a workaround nonetheless. Finally, to everyone that is having problems, I know it isn't practical in all cases, but manually installing the modification on a clean, unmodified copy of the game, updated to 1.0.7.0 or 1.1.2.0 (EFLC), should fix any problems that would arise from installation issues or other modifications. Please note that you will need to install Microsoft's .Net Framework 4.5 first, which you can do so here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 Also, please make sure you install the C++ Redistributable 2012, found here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 Some people have fixed their issues by installing the latest DirectX runtimes, found here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35 MANUAL TASER DATA FILE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE: pclcpdfrmodels.img pclcpdfrWeaponInfo.xml pclcpdfrdefinitions.ide IF SO, DO THE FOLLOWING: MAKE A BACKUP OF commondataimages.txt ADD TO commondataimages.txt platformimg:/lcpdfr/models 1 AFTER THE LINE platformimg:/data/maps/east/bronx_w2 0 MAKE A BACKUP OF commondatadefault.dat ADD TO commondatadefault.dat WEAPONINFO platform:/lcpdfr/weaponinfo.xml AFTER THE LINE WEAPONINFO common:/data/weaponinfo.xml MAKE A BACKUP OF commondatagta.dat ADD TO commondatagta.dat IDE platform:/LCPDFR/DEFINITIONS.IDE AFTER THE LINE IDE platform:/DATA/MAPS/PROPS/vegetation/Int_veg.IDE Need a copy of the original, default, unmodified police peds, including props and data files?
