Dealing with fire in GTA is extremely difficult. Now I understand why none of these announced fire mods never got released. I know that many of you, including me, would like to see more fire rescue actions but it's just too hard to achieve for me.

Cars will be spawned with "fake" fire to make it more dramatic, but also with real fire that will burn other cars and peds just like normal fire from molotovs etc. During tests I had situation where innocent ped was set on fire by car that was set on fire by arsonist just a second before.

I plan more action with fire, but you'll have to wait for it longer.

Agreed, you have excellent scripts and I absolutely love them, IV is one of the most unstable games even when it is not modded, so it will take some time...

I would be more than happy to wait!

The amount of hard work and effort that must be going into your mods is outstanding. Do you do some form of programming professionally?

 

Seriously man, you spoil us with the quality of the mods you always end up with. 

Hell no! Programming is too boring :D On serious note I couldn't do it for living, but doing it just as a hobby is entertaining for me. I'm a graphic designer.
I try to make mods that I'd want to use myself :)

Guys what would cause my policehelper to not respond after I tried reinstalling windows live, and Social Club?  So when I active policehelper it comes up, but I just cant move the mouse.  The game pauses.  It doesn't crash or freeze because I can still go to the exit screen and quit the game.  Policehelper worked for me ever since I fist DLed and over several months.

 

I wanted to do multiplayer again so I installed windows live and social club again.  I then took out my xlive files from the game directory.  I the also installed a fresh new copy of GTAIV on another harddrive on my computer.  All this for nothing.  I didn't like the multiplayer and it was glitchy on my system.  I put xlive back in and now my Policehelper doesn't work.  I reinstalled police helper and still the same pause lock up.  Please help.  Everything else in the game is working fine and like before except police helper.  Thanks for the help.

I would recommend installing the patch your using first, if its 1.0.7.0 then go into the root of gta and remove all files to do with social club (i think its the Paul file and the folder with 4 letters i can't remember what its called but i know it begins with R) sorry not on computer right now so can't check) lol.

If that doesn't work try downloading the scripthook and .net files again that all works for me if i have problems :-)

I'm ill so it all goes a bit slower now, but I'm really near to finish this version. After that it will go to testers and after week or two and some tweaking and fixing I'll release it. I'll show you some screens and maybe a video this week.

Callouts won't make it to this AND next version, but don't worry. It's because there will be new very cool tool. Sadly it needs lot of work, but it should provide another thing that's a bit different than typical callouts, yet entertaining like bait car.
