Who is attacking this website and why?

Come 2017, we'll be back. Stronger, hopefully.

GTAPoliceMods has disappeared. GTA IV has updated and broken everything. GTA V keeps updating and ruining everything. And now LCPDFR.com is under attack.

We'll get through this, people. This site has been through it all. I, being a user whose account was deleted on the May the 31st crash, feel like this won't be too bad anymore.

Just don't shoot the messenger. Have a happy new year.

It's been three years, but I'm back again...

Is there an IP From the people sending the packets or are they hiding behind a proxy?

It's not just one IP, there are several of them. You can't just block one IP sadly.

Most likely answer , the site is not being ddos but rather the server hosting company or w.e where lcpdfr.com is located on is prob the reason

That's only the case if the server for LSPDFR is shared with other websites and use the same IP address.

Due to the size of the LSPDFR community and services, it will be running on it's own dedicated server with a dedicated IP address. Those executing the attack are most definetely targeting LSPDFR.

How many lifetimes are you willing to spend around this fire?!

Haha, okay, maybe we'll break it down into weekly meetings, with bullet-point summaries to skim over the less significant bits?
