Those are an exception, and we are not planning to add any more, save for one or two models.

Wtf are you talking about. It will get updated, the only think coming to a freaking end is the development of openiv.

Be patient for another week or two.

Can anyone explain why RDE crashes as soon as I launch the game?  Still using the previous update of the game so Scripthook will work.  I installed a gameconfig.xml from gta5-mods.com and it worked but after about 20 minutes, the game crashes still.  Only things installed outside of RDE is LSPDFR and Arrest Manager so the files will get overwritten from the custom files made for them when I installed RDE.

 

Base RDE w/ FBI, Sheriffs of Blaine and Emergency!

RDE isn't compatible with some things, hopefully fixed in the next update.

I am using the gameconfig.xml, that they released on the main page at R.D.E., and it works great for me. Try that one and remove SixStarResponse from the scrips folder and you should be good to go. The only thing that I had issues with, was Visual V with radiance, I would have to install it like 3-5 times in a row so that I can load the game in one go instead of a few goes.

Considering they don't add anything useful, there is currently no intention to add them.

The EUP version of riot police is there already. I mean NPCs.

I don't know if anyone else has been having this issue, but ever since the last update, my game loads endlessly when I'm using the recommended RDE gameconfig. No crash,  just the little white wheel and loading music going in loops for 15+ minutes without the game ever loading. 

 

I tried using a few other game configs updated since the latest patch and just got crashes almost immediately after the game loads.

Assuming you mean the gunrunning update, RDE does currently not work with it. In fact, even our internal testing build doesn't work with it yet. It's all still being worked on. As such, I have no idea when this'll get sorted and in what way.

Thanks for the info, I hope you guys will be able to sort it out eventually. In the meantime I'll try to revert back to the previous version.

 

By the way, if it can be of any help, this gameconfig worked fine with RDE minus sixstarresponse.dll for a few minutes, but crashed when I reached downtown - pretty much the same problem I had last time. The official RDE config that had been released back in April had addressed that problem and I was able to run the game smoothly with it until the new patch.  I tried mixing values from that gameconfig with the old RDE one this morning and the game crashed on loading, though.

please make sure you have installed both files from the openIV asi manager, that is often the case of the game loading endlessly.

They are installed already, this is not the issue. From what I can see, there are no gameconfig files available that work correctly at the moment, they'll either crash at some point or load endlessly. SuperStumpje's reply seems to confirm it's pretty hard to get mods to run properly with the latest update.

There are some crashes in downtown that are not gameconfig related, we are in the process of fixing them.
