Sure, but the grab ped thing is really bad in terms of animation. Quite like the radio mic animation.

Animation may be bad, but it works, and at least for me, works flawlessly.  I'd much prefer crappy animation over good animation and the feature not working, or only partially working.

I feel more so as the "search" animations a lot of plugins do with that bag animation. Yeah, you're searching a ped... with the animation of searching a bag on the floor. At that point, it'd be better left out and just have the function w/o animation.

yeah, this. not every thing needs to be animated to be functional, and incorrect animation really takes away from it.

It's really annoying when the stopping function for interacting and arresting peds stops working halfway through a patrol. After it stops working you have to result to arresting the peds at gunpoint and ordering them to the ground. Eventually after doing that for awhile it will no longer let you arrest on the ground. 

Yeah, hopefully somebody else picks back up on the mod and starts developing it again.

Same thing happens with me. Thought it was just a bug with something I installed, but I'm glad it's not just my game. 

Is LSPDFR still being worked on? They could at least post a yearly status update or something to keep people up-to-date?

Whilst I am no longer as active in the community as I used to be, I can pretty much assure you that LSPDFR is not abandoned. Sam, Cyan and LMS lead busy lives.

Well, Sam is too busy eating everything to even try working on it. :D

 

Really, though, something like this takes time, especially since some people have a real life, full time job and do this as a hobby.

Which by the way is totally understandable, I work 50-70 hours a week so I get it, my hobbies suffer so my family doesn't. But...I think we're just wondering if it's still being developed. Without word of any kind for nearly 15 months I think we're just wondering if there's going to be a next version.

It is still being developed, I just have no idea of the development's pace, as that's not discussed.
