Been using this mod along time but for some reason randomly idk what happened by characters wardrobe started messing up. Any armor or some tops are flickering on my screen and completely unusable. I've reinstalled properly according to instructions. What could be the cause of this @Alex_Ashfold

Hi all, loving this mod makes my gameplay a lot easier. The only issue i am having is when i die i turn into Michael then keep falling throught the ground. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I've noticed that the same types of questions are coming up and that the FAQ is in need of an update. So I decided to do just that. @Alex_Ashfold if you could put this on the main post that'd be awesome.

FAQ 2.0

How do I install EUP?
1.    Using OpenIV, go to Tools > Package Installer, browse to the EUP 7.3.oiv and click install.
2.    Go into the Menu folder of the .zip and drag everything to your root GTAV (i.e. where the GTA5.exe is located).

How do I fully uninstall EUP?
1.    Delete the eup folder from update/x64/dlcpacks.
2.    Remove the <Item>dlcpacks:\eup\</Item> line from update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml.
3.    Delete the eup_banner.ytd and eup_charactereditor.ytd from update/update.rpf/x64/textures/script_txds.rpf.
4.    Delete EUPMenu.dll and the EUP folder from your Plugins folder.

The menu says I don’t have EUP installed. What gives?
1.    Ensure the eup folder is in update/x64/dlcpacks.
2.    Check your dlclist.xml in update/update.rpf/common/data/ for the following line:
<Item>dlcpacks:\eup\</Item>
It should be towards the end of the file. If you don’t see it, add it.

The uniforms are glitchy/messed up/flickering.
This can be caused by a number of things. The best way to solve this is by clean installing the game and EUP.

Make sure the plugin has loaded by typing ListPlugins into the RPH console (default F5 to open). If it is not listed, load the plugin by typing LoadPlugin EUPMenu.dll.
If it still doesn’t work, double check your config settings in Plugins/EUP/settings.ini.
It should look something like this:

[SETTINGS]
MenuToggle=F11
MenuToggleModifier=None
MenuToggleController=LeftThumb
MenuToggleControllerModifier=A
DefaultCharacter=

Does EUP work on the latest update?
Chances are it does. If it doesn’t, expect an update to be released very soon.

Why does the LSSD campaign hat look like some black cowboy hat?
It’s a placeholder. The EUP team is working on the LSSD campaign hat.

Do I need to install Skin Control?
No. EUP has its own character customization system.

When I die I turn into Michael? What’s up with that?
This is a fail-safe created by another mod (not EUP). It is to combat the game going into an infinite load screen when dying as an NPC.

After respawning as Michael, I keep falling through the ground. Help?
Reload a savegame or restart the game.

Does EUP work with Cop Holster?
Yes. Add the following to your CopHolster.ini (please make sure to remove any other freemode ped entries):

// EUP
[Ped:MP_M_FREEMODE_01]
FuncHolster=True
FuncIntim=True
FuncIntimMesh=7:8,7:7,7:6,9:13

// EUP
[Ped:MP_F_FREEMODE_01]
FuncHolster=True
FuncIntim=True
FuncIntimMesh=7:8

Please note that this won't remove the gun from your holster -- it will only play the animations. This is due to the lack of an empty holster model for freemode peds.

First, look through the support thread and see if someone has already posted about the crash you got. If not, please make a new post and include the part of your RagePluginHook.log that contains the crash message.

I sometimes manage to quickly fix it by killing myself (since you fall through the ground, you have to do it via a trainer) a few times. It should then fully play the walk-out-of-hospital-animation. After that you should not fall through the ground anymore.

Guys, I wanted to say that this plugin is wonderful, but I have a problem with my version.  It started when the new update came out.  I updated GTA, RPH, and all of my plugins, and everything seemed to work fine.  However, the next day, the menu started saying that EUP was not installed, the EUP logo was also not at the top, and the uniforms were random placeholders.  I applied both the 7.3a and the 7.3b fixes, but nothing changes.  I then downloaded 7.3 again because it said that the fixes were also in there.  That still didn't help.  I uninstalled all of the EUP information and then reinstalled it.  That still didn't help me.  I verified all of my files through Steam and then installed EUP again, but I got the same problem.  Finally, I uninstalled EUP and launched GTA before reinstalling, but it still didn't work.  

I'm at a loss for what else to do.  I've read through the above posts about this issue, and I saw that I had both the EUP folder in the dlcpacks, and the

 <Item>dlcpacks:\eup\</Item>

line in the correct places.  What else can I do to fix this issue?

Some single player imported items are not compatible with MP items, make sure you are wearing a single player top with your specific acc or armor item.

Help! It keeps saying EUPMenu.dll has crashed Go to lcpdfr forums topic EUP and contact the author. How do I fix this, many people are having the same issues. I am really looking foward to this mod.

I would like to suggest a new accessory: Leg holster(s)
A leg holster really brings alot of detail to the character, and could be used on swat and tactical officers as well as normal officers with accessories like wests.

So the game loads fine, functions like it should but then the minute I press F10 and load my character it turns into an LSD trip.

I've done a complete uninstall and reinstall of EUP and so far nothing, I have not the slightest clue what can cause my game to start messing up the way it does.

Edit: It happens after I just cruise around without opening the EUP menu, pretty sure it's something that has to do with my game installation but I'm just guessing at this point.

I combed through this thread and couldn't find anything, so I apologize if I missed this. Is there a file somewhere that lists textures and their locations for those who wish to customize said textures? I've found the "bike officer" polos, but I'm looking to change all the sheriff uniforms to black. Thanks for any help!

So I installed EUP and when trying to launch GTA it told me there was a reg file missing and that I needed to validate the files, so I validated my files via steam, it said 1 file missing and that it would be fixed. I then loaded up GTA and it worked, went into EUP to start messing around with uniforms, except every uniform seemed to not exist, as in it wasn't what it said the uniform was.

Any ideas?

Is there a way that the AI Cops use the EUP presets?

I'm having an issue where my character is in some weird online clothes instead of the police outfits EUP gives you when i hit F11 and go into the clothing it is all messed up and puts my in parachutes overcoats and a hat does anyone know what is going on it was fine one day and then the nest it just did that i have tried reinstalling too and removed everything but it is still messed up does anyone know what is wrong?>

We are looking into this, but that's weird As fuck, I honestly don't know what to tell anyone, I can't even recreate the issue myself in game.
