Hey guys, im planning on getting the game and the mod but I know my desktop will crash and possibly explode if I use it to play so I'm thinking about getting a new one that can easily run it with good graphics and not too leggy but of course a mod will have a few bugs or a lag or so, so that's expected any ideas on a good desktop that can play it, I'm not too worried about the price but also I'm not rich so a good mid range price is good if you have any better desktops or websites to find better ones please let me know or message me

I found this one but I'm not entirely sure if it will play it

I doubt it will. If I told you my current PC can run GTAIV maxed out with an ENB with 100 FPS, would you believe me? I have a Radeon HD 4350, an AMD Phenom II 910 and 8gb of memory. Do you even know w

  • Is that even a PC? Regardless, can you post your specs please?

Aw hell naw. That thing will either blow up or implode when you play GTA.

just saying you can get better specs for the same money if you build your own.

Processors mediocre at best, graphics card is garbage. You'll need to spend more if you like high details.

A decent gaming rig costs a about $800 for bare minimum specs, retail costs.  About $1500 will get you a very good rig, with very little tweaking/upgrading required.  If you have the skills you can build a $1500 box for about half the retail cost, so for about $700-$800 you can build that killer rig.

I'm too lazy so I spend the money for immediate gratification.

So I am not happy with the way lcpdfr runs on my computer as I have the following mods and specs:

-LCPDFR RC2

-Coroner mod

-ELS v7

-policehelper

-tow truck mod

-trafficflow

My computer specs are

-Intel core i7 2.80GHz (quad core)

-500GB hard drive

-8GB of RAM

*Recently I just bought a 700W power supply to replace my 450W and a GeForce 650 ti 1GB to replace my GeForce 9500 GT

Now my concern is if the 650 ti is a good enough graphics card to run the game along with the mods?? because my els light bar flickers so slow now it looks to unrealistic.

650 is "meh" as far as I'm concerned. It will certainly run better than what you have now, but I'd invest into at least a 660Ti (although the 700 series is out, so I personally wouldn't spend any money on anything on from that series either).

My updated computer build! Only a Blu-ray player and Razer mouse to go! I'm very excited, but now that this is near completion, GTA V is almost out and my time will be consumed on a PS3!

Hi, I am getting a new laptop and I am just wondering if this is fast for gta iv and muliplayer, thanks. Here is the link: http://www.sears.com...=1&blockType=G1

Simple answer is no. Just save more money and get you a decent gaming desktop. It will be worth it in the long run because there is always room for improvement/upgrades as more games come out in the future.

Hey guys,

I am having issues with my PC and running the game. Below is the computer I have. I wanted to see if you had any suggestions on how I might be able to play on my PC with out it crashing all the time.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ATIV+One+7+23.6%22+Touch-Screen+All-In-One+Computer+-+8GB+Memory+-+1TB+Hard+Drive/9265041.p?id=1219010356784&skuId=9265041&st=samsung all in ones&cp=1&lp=5

I also get error messages saying somthing about SMP or somthing like that.

Your problem is that you're playing it on an all in one which has no graphics card. And the SMPA60 error usually relates to car mods. So stop trying to use fancy mods and your game will crash less.

can you recommend a computer that i can play gta with. it doesnt have to be the highest settings i just wanna play without lag like my current computer

It says page not found when try to go to it...copy and paste specs from site then you can get some help.

Try this http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olstemplatemapper.jsp?id=pcat17080&type=page&qp=q70726f63657373696e6774696d653a3e313930302d30312d3031~~cabcat0500000%23%230%23%2311a~~cabcat0502000%23%230%23%23o~~nf118%7C%7C344742&list=y&nrp=15&sc=abComputerSP&sp=-bestsellingsort+skuid&usc=abcat0500000 and look at the first laptop that says New! in red and it is $300.00

Still didnt work, But I can go ahead and tell you now that any laptop especially one that is not a gaming laptop will struggle to run GTA IV at even the lowest settings...save up some more money and make a good investment into a gaming desktop that way you always have room for upgrades and better things! :)

:( I hate gaming desktops, there too hard to install, especially all the plugs and stuff. And too expensive.
