Oh, you've created GTA within LSPDFR within GTA, huh? Yo dawg I heard you liked GTA... It's nice to see the animation, though. CopHolster is a little bit "rough", to say the least. Being abl

  • We're not a large company, we have 2 developers working on this free modification. If we decide to not give a release date for our free modification, we won't. That does not make us

Some plugins may work, some might not, most plugins that use just RAGEHook alone will work fine, provided you have RAGEHook working fine.

Why doesn't Rockstar hire you guys?

Why would they? We're intentionally bypassing restrictions put fourth in their TOS and represent a modding Community, something that Rockstar really hasn't been a huge fan of lately.

I can't wait. The one out now is crashing every 10 to 15 minutes on my system. I hope the new is coming out is stable!

Maybe you should remove some plugins or car models. I play with 7-8 plugins, 2 cop models, ambulance textures, enhanced lighting/caronas and can literally play for hours on end.

Sometimes it's user-error that people fail to look into, because it's easy to blame a Mod.

This is awesome, I thought it was released, but I feel it is going to take 1 or 2 months more :(

Congratulations Ineseri for your new rank ;)

I don't even use other people car model's because I don't know how to use openIV. It's to complicated for me. I only use the scripts: spotlight, police radio, and a couple of call outs. That's it. I like to have things simple because I don't know computers that much.

Would it be too much to ask what, if any i guess, specific blockers there are to releasing .3?  Im not trying to some how ask for a release date in a roundabout way.  This sort of thing, modding and the way modders decide to get around various problems, just interests me and I would enjoy reading through what sorts of problems the team is running into and how they are figuring out addressing them.  If not its cool, im just curious.

We don't give release dates. Back when LCPDFR was in very early alpha we made the mistake of giving a release date, then failing to meet it by a few days.
The community response was overwhelmingly immature and negative. After that, we made a vow to never give release dates to anybody, not only can they not be guaranteed, but the immature uproar that follows afterword simply isn't worth it.

I find that using the phrase "very soon" often enough, alor since the temp is still awaited is not the best solution..

Actually you should be happy that admins even have the time to reply to your comments. And with admins i actually specifically mean Sam. He works on this mod in his spare time and it is a wonder that he responds to some people's questions and even makes those posts for you guys so everyone is informed over the new gadgets and news you will get in LSPDFR 0.3. I believe with my heart that they are working as hard as possible on LSPDFR 0.3. If it comes in 1 month, 5 months, 1 year, It doesnt matter. Nobody wants unfinished crappy mods which will result in negative comments.

It's also one of the reasons we test our mods as thoroughly as possible before release: Bugs show up at the most inconvenient time, all the time. We want to eliminate as many as possible.
