Can't wait!

It's lucky I have Adblock and can use block element, because that picture would have made it impossible for me to keep scrolled at the bottom of this thread until new posts hid it otherwise.

Oh please don't tell me this is coming out soon. We've not got enough ambulances or fire trucks for the game, let alone police vehicle REPLACEMENTS for some slots, and when this comes out, it'll be just like GTA IV - 90% ELS, 10% Non-ELS. All I want to do right now is play a modded story - I don't really want to play LSPD:FR.

But that's my opinion, not yours.

Yeah you're right. The entire GTA V community should stop having fun and start preventing the release of one of the most successful GTA mod of all times because you're too lazy to press the "Non-ELS" button when browsing cars.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. A few car modders have even said they specifically will make both ELS and non-ELS cars when the mod releases. Not only that, but we've already got quite a lot of car models for download on the site right now, and none of them are ELS enabled because it isn't out yet. Just because one person doesn't want to use ELS cars doesn't mean the mod should be delayed, considering how many *cough* including me *cough* are (im)patiently waiting for it.

Nobodys stopping you from doing so, all the police cars on LSPDFR are non-els. And having ELS installed doesn't stop you from playing the story

But I do press the button. It's just a little...sparse.

Alright, let's stop this, this just got insulting.

It's not insulting, they just called you out on something that didnt need to be said. If you dont like the mod, then dont use it.  That simple. Also I bet there will be plenty on non els cars that will still come out. Because the vanilla lighting in V is not that bad. But some people like different things. And that is why there is an OPTIONAL download button.

There are thirteen pages of vehicles on the vehicle mods section of the site. There are twenty five results on each page. Therefore in total there are 325 vehicle models currently available for GTA V. Some of them are not police vehicles but I would hazard a guess that most are. None of them are ELS enabled, because it isn't out yet. 325 vehicles is sparse to you?

Some people can be insulted in different ways.

But while I wait for capable internet to come to update my GTA V, I think it's time we put an end to this debarcle.

Yes, please, let's all just calm down and relax.

Even after ELS is released, I feel that there will still be non-ELS models to help accommodate both sides. So, let this argument die, there's no reason to continue escalating it. Let's go back to talking about how ELS will be awesome.

Or, in my case, repeatedly stating how impatient I am for its release! And also drooling all over the demonstration videos whenever a new one is out.

I seem to remember someone stating earlier in this topic that they expected ELS V to be released by this August. At first I dismissed that and was sure it'd be sooner but as the weeks go by I'm starting to think it's more and more likely. Not that I mind, of course, just something I find interesting, that they seem to be right. Clearly much more of a realist than I am.

You and I are a lot alike. You ki- oh wait, no, sorry. Some of that quote doesn't apply here. You definitely haven't killed me.

The part about AI drivers currently not yielding to lights and sirens gave me an idea. Perhaps it would be possible for the player to customize ELS so that a certain light pattern will make traffic yield and another will not. For example, if I so desire and set one of my patterns as blue lights only, traffic wouldn't stop until I also turned on the reds.

Customization is key to my gaming experience. I take pictures, do textures and lore-friendly vehicles.

Or... We could make this easy and just have them yield when we turn our lights on period. Like it is in real life
