LSPDFR 0.2 Update - 12 July

Featured Replies

Just as a quick update, we're doing our best to continue to fix things up.  The main cause of the performance issues was resolved earlier today, although there's still one problem which is resulting in script crashes.

There's a good side to this delay as well though - we've been able to polish things up somewhat and even add in some little details that weren't going to make the original release

@Sam Good u.u ^^ You are a Great Man with your Team =)

The best LSPD officer in San Andreas.

You guys are doing amazing work so far. Don't worry about a delay, we'll be patiently awaiting a 100% functional and perfect product as usual. Good work fellas :)

Keep up the good work dev team! Always a good feeling to know as a consumer that the dev is making the best use of downtime, unfortunate downtime, but downtime nonetheless. Just remember guys that the people who created the game, vs the people who manage the game post creation are two different groups of people. As a dev its really upsetting to hear negative things that you have no control over so it's important that you target the correct people with criticism. Harassing a designer for something that corporate decides won't get you far.

Just my two cents. Thanks guys for the update and transparency with LSPDFR 0.2!

They don't have to show you anything, if you dont trust Sam and LMS, who have dedicated years of their life to LCPDFR and now LSPDFR, then you can quite simply check out something else or deal with the excitement.

Thank you so much for your effort to get this mod working! You and you're Dev Team are awesome! Thumbs up to you guys! :)

:ninja:

Only one thing to tell the dev team: *LSSD Deputy voice* Keep it up!

In all seriousness, I'm not upset at all by the delayed release, it just adds to the excitement!

scumbag Rockstar

You may have accidentally triple posted there.

Thanks Sam for the updates, I was optimistic it could be released today but take your time I would much rather have a more stable mod than a crashy one.

Trash

That triple post tho

Thanks for the update on what's going on though Sam. I think it's needless to say I'm excited for 0.2, but I understand the need to hold off on releasing it until it's in working condition. Best of luck to you guys in ironing out the rest of the issues!

I wish game producers would understand this logic, we want something that works not something that is out and crashes.

First of all I really need to take the time and thank the developers and the whole community on making this mod a reality. You guys deserve all the respect!  Imagine guys GTAV without LSPDFR. I mean seriously a game like that without this MOD is simply nothing to me "personally" that is the big reason why I bought this game in the first place. Making a huge mod such as LSPDFR is really not an easy task to do! Also bare in mind the developers also have a life and responsibilities still they are giving up there time and working. However, They are doing there most best working day and night for what? Because they want to and because its for everyone and to satisfy everyone's need. Guys seriously don't blame Rockstar. Anyone who has a company such as Rockstar will do his best to maximize his profits and try to maintain online stability because of the revenue its generating. They should also consider people such as G17 and fully support them because they are really the professional team who are creating something different for GTAV.

I am really excited to see the changes in the next update. I respect all the time needed to be taken by the developers to bring something stable and actually playable. Thanks guys!

all good man, you guys do one hell of a good job at this. Rockstar should hire you guys for a dlc addon for lspdfr. Make it legit, and you guys get good money. everyone wins right? :) Awesome mods, like always though. thanks!

The way i see it Sam is we continue to mod the hell out of GTA V and maybe Rockstar will realize they can't win against us haha.

I think if Rockstar wants to stop us, they do it. Hopefully it won't get worse.

Is the GTA community that cynical and pessimistic about Rockstar? It seems that they take EA for example and apply their behaviour to everyone else in the business. It's depressing.

I believe there is a work around for most things techy. Its a cat and mouse game. The game developers can attempt to make it impossible and harder to do things but with code, for the most part, there is always a work around. Lets all just be glad these guys love LSPD and helping the community they (G17) have created. Without Rockstar we wouldnt be sitting here as a group coming together and the same goes for @Sam and the rest of the crew at G17. LSPDFR would'nt have been here if it wasn't for these guys. These guys are loyal, loving, and brilliant at what they do. Delays are upsetting but a delay isn't just them sticking it to us. Their live go behind this and it stands for them, they dont want a crappy release wrecking the name they have built for themselves. For this I am grateful and pray that no matter what R* throws their way, they will be ready.

Im Retired. But that may change..
