dbock1989 reacted to CASHMONEY0986 in LSPDFR Crashing Notificationyea mine brings up a "fatal error" on load then if i disallow lspdfr to start automatically the game loads up....then if i try to start the plugin massive crash if i do anything thru the rage console major crash and in the crash log i get the corrupted mem stuff...posted on rage forum and only one guy has had the same issue he said he did reinstall of game and it was working so not sure what is up i just dont want to spend a day and a half or so redownloading the game from rockstar and it not solve the issue then i lose my game save and have still not accomplished to make lspdfr playable stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one

dbock1989 got a reaction from Raptor422 in NEW MOD IDEAI have seen a callout like this in LCPDFR, so Im almost certain it can be done in LSPDFR. I second this Idea.

dbock1989 reacted to FinKone in [WIP][REL][UPDATED 08/AUG/2015] Police Radio [Tow, Coroner, PlateChecker, Pit Request, Tackle Suspect... and probably more...]Just wanted to take a minute out of my now crazy and chaotic life style to say I'm still alive. While I will be extremely busy for the next 6 or 7 months of my life... Police Radio will keep evolving. As a last resort in the next few weeks I will be leaving my source code to a few unnamed but decent coders to keep moving forward with my code (unnamed to remove any pressure). I hope as a final stage I'll get to add EMS, fire and CPR are for the most part done but I am not nearly as complete with my final vision as I'd like to be. I look forward to pushing more updates, but keep in mind, real life will always trump the digital one... rapid progression is at a halt.

-
dbock1989 reacted to CouthInk4 in How To Mod???Your problem is that your replacing files, then RGSC is downloading an "update" that replaces your modded files with vanilla files, they've done this to prevent online modding. this can be bypassed by using a mods folder.
How to create one is located here - http://openiv.com/?p=1132

-
dbock1989 reacted to Simulator4515 in Can someone pm me for help with texture?Which vehicle did you make it for? Some vehicles have to have their textures replaced in Update>x64>dlcpacks>and patchday(whichever is the latest updated for that vehicle, for example sheriff.ytd is in patchday3ng. so it would be patchday3ng>dlc.rpf>x64>levels>gta5>vehicles.rpf). This is what I experienced with the sheriff cruiser and a couple others that x64e doesn't always work.

dbock1989 reacted to Sam in LSPD First Response 0.2a UpdateNothing different.
At the end of the day, this is simply bad news for people that want to play LSPDFR. It means that we'll be downloading RPH at the same time you, and everyone else is. We then have to compile the mod against the new version, give it a test, make sure everything's still working okay, and only then do we get to release it.
From what I understand, compatibility for the Steam version (which I use), has been there since early this morning. If there'd been the foresight to recognize that developers of modifications using RPH might appreciate the opportunity to prepare their modifications for the latest version, then assuming everything did work, we'd be in a position to release an updated version of LSPDFR almost as soon as RPH itself was released.
Instead, we're left in the dark and being forced to find out information from other people.
-
dbock1989 reacted to Sam in LSPD First Response 0.2a UpdateThe only thing that annoys me is how we're being left in the dark about this.
I know for a fact that LukeD, one of the other few people with a published plugin for RPH, hasn't heard anything either.
-
dbock1989 reacted to Sam in LSPD First Response 0.2a UpdateHow comforting to know that none of the people that actually have released mods making use of this hook are getting to test it.
