Not sure if there's an official LSPDFR bug thread, so I guess a mod can just sticky this and rename if they wish...

Anyone else encountering buggy pursuits? Not targeting the right vehicle, or gets a vehicle in the oncoming direction. Or they take off speeding but there's not red blip on the map, so not sure if it's an actual pursuit (I get the pursuit backup option) or just one that's not marked on map (in which case you'll lose the suspect driver quickly). Also, it seems that there's a bug related to pursuits that causes the steering to jerk back and forth (exiting the car and getting back in seems to fix the issue). Other than that, impressed with amount of polish for an initial release.

When pressing SHIFT, it almost always targets the vehicle right in front, at least for me. When in a pursuit, I don't think you're supposed to use SHIFT, as they're already running from you.

Though they do take off speeding sometimes and there's no red blip. Haven't got that steering problem.

When I force a call out, I get the blue circle. But when I go towards it, it disappears. If I hit X again, it says there is a pursuit right near by. I go there and the pursuit seems to of gone through me to a few streets over. I go there and the pursuit is where I started. I don't hear any sirens, so I can't follow them.

Edit: Nvm. I wasn't hitting "Y" after hitting "X". My mistake. durrr

May not be the case but try lowering graphics settings for the steering issue. Even if you aren't noticing any lag or framerate drops right now it sounds like some people are having problems with controls not being as responsive as they used to be which may cause issues with a delay in steering.

It's not so much unresponsivness, as it is just the car pulling back in the complete other direction when I go to turn (when I go to steer left, the car jerks right for a second and then straightens out).

Another bug I've found  (although seems rare)  seems to be pursuit backup not always spawning.

Yea. It's kind of like being drunk without the screen effect. Or that one mission in GTA 4 where you have to take someone home and they get pissed and grab the wheel, causing you to veer off. Exactly like that.

Will try the graphics thing though.
