The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

    It's running great so far, though for some reason my game lags a bit whenever I shoot now (may just be the game itself). Most of the improvements are probably already planned by the wonderful dev team

  • Suspects are too fast / too far and I constantly find myself driving cross country in a cruiser. Awesome work by the devs, though.

The AI really could use some work, other Unit's coming at full blast to hit a car is not what I can fun. I look back and have to move fast from getting hit. I would like to see the investigation menu from LC come into play soon. Other than that pretty solid setup

This is something I hope will be tweaked in the future. It is not the fault of the mod, the AI in the game is beyond stupid... it is not an issue when you play the story because it is heavily scripted but it becomes obvious here since we interact much more with peds and other cops.

I can't tell how many times my car ended in a tree because other units will just push you out of their way. Cops are complete psychos whose only goal is ramming into the suspect at all cost and knocking everything off the road. I can't tell how many times I have had backups shoot the paramedics, the coroners, the tow truckers. I can't tell how many times I had a simple arrest ending into a complete nightmare with cars blowing up and various crap of that kind.

Where we're going, we don't need signatures.

Cops are brutal in LA  e.e

#1 thing I want in future versions is more god-damn jails. Two for the entire map!? Just two!?

 

Jokes aside, more jails really are necessary. It's obscenely obnoxious when you detain someone in the middle of Los Santos and you have to drive across the city to arrest them, or if you detain someone in Sandy Shores and have to drive all the way to Paleto Bay.

Use Albo1125's Transport Van mod, it includes a van pickup for your prisoner and a ton more jail points, heck you can even teleport to a jail if you want.

I agree with this, the other units NEED/MUST show you respect and realise you are actually in the pursuit, and like Killer007 said, try to calm them down instead of having them drive full speed into the rear end of a vehicle, because for one it causes the unit to crash rather than the suspect and two, its not very geniune tactics, its not even a correct pit maneuver.

My suggestions:

*Add a marker on your police car.

*Search people, like you could in GTA IV Lcpdfr. (I think its called frisking.)

*Add more missions.

*Call firefighters, medics.

*Add barriers, flares.

*More jails.

*Breathalyzer.

*Disable the key commands while typing in the police computer.

There are mods that already provide most of the features you listed.  I doubt LSPDFR will want to implement them.

Arrest without having to draw a weapon like LCPDFR 1.0

Its not a biggie but it can feel weird drawing a gun on someone when arresting them for a minor crime.

I would go even further: the ability to transport someone without arresting the person.

Like transporting a witness to the police station after a callout. Or sometimes the assault scenario from Code 3 callouts where I have no element to procede with an arrest but I'd gladly transport the person that said to be assaulted to the station so that she can lodge a complaint.

Where we're going, we don't need signatures.

Just got my GTA V last night, first thing I did was install this mod. Man, these Police Mods are the best! This is obviously still a little rough, and being very spoiled to the LCPD version it handles weird.. BUT... I know it will only grow and smooth out. Love these.

As far as suggestions or ideas? None yet, not enough time in game to really be qualified to make one yet.

I do like what I am seeing so far, some bugs are

1. The infa ticket bug, sometimes when i write a citation, i am stuck in the animation forever

2. People need to freak out less, peoples panic reaction shouldnt be as severe in this game, I mean its no fun when you try and arrest someone and 20 people run over you

3. Cops need to not shoot armed suspects in the surrender animation.

Suggestions

1, When you look up suspects you should get information like number of times pulled over.

2, A less aggressive way of arresting people, so if a suspect is not running or fighting, you should be able to arrest thru the interaction menu, so people dont freak out.

3. Make suspects run slower  (FML) or give them stamina

  • Would be nice to see suspects being able to be dragged to the cruisers again. (LCPDFR)
  • Sometimes when I play for long periods of time, I like to switch it up a bit. It's a hassle having to go to the station, go off duty, on duty, and then select new equipment and gear. Maybe add something where we can press a button and change our uniform and vehicle? Aside from the trainer. 
  • Should definitely implement frisking again and all the features with people on foot (LCPDFR)
  • You should be able to arrest someone for minor infractions without having to point a gun at them, allow them to put their hands up and cuff them using the same animation as LCPDFR did.
  • Keep the response times in the county as a dead zone. During my gameplay, it usually takes like 3 minutes for a single unit to arrive. That's realistic, especially in the country and highway. Sometimes backup is not always available.
  • I think we should add something to where your radio does NOT work in certain areas of the county (i.e; complete deadzones)

One thing I'd like to see, is when dealing with an armed enemy being able to aim + press E to yell at them to make them drop their weapon and arrest them. It would help to avoid the bloodbaths patrolling in Grove street causes.

i think part of the problem is that thethe taser in gta V also results in death. I used a trainer to spawn in the taser and shot a fleeing suspect with it and they died. Every time I used it the suspect would drop dead so it really doesn't help. If we can access the weapons data of GTA V like we could the XML file in gta iv then it would be a fast fix.

Maybe, something like the mod 'livery area" (GTA IV)..
A support for add ons cars.

More units for backups, rangers, IAA, or FIB for example.

Give choice of car for every unit / Probability of spawn; example for IAA backup 40% Buffalo, 40% Cruiser, 20% Granger.

I don't know if it's possible but I hope.

I am not sure if this has already been suggested, and if it has then please disregard this post.

 

Something that I was just thinking about as I was watching a few LSPDFR videos on YOUTUBE deals with those calls where you arrive and immediately have to take someone into custody.  I know that prior to making an arrest, you can (I think) ask a pedestrian or suspect for their ID so that you can run them for any possible wants/warrants, etc.  However, for those situations where you arrive and immediately cuff someone up and put them in the cruiser, to my knowledge there is no way to run an ID check on them AFTER they are in custody.  So my suggestion for a future release would be having an option to run someone by ID or request their ID after they are in custody.

 

For example:  You run up on an assault or fight in progress and immediately detain someone.  You place John Doe in the back seat of your car while you clean up the rest of the scene and get the victim treated/transported to the hospital.  Now, you return to your car and want to (for the sake of realism) ID the person you have in custody so you hit a key that triggers an ID request.  At that time you can use your MDT or portable radio and call in for an ID check to verify if the person you have is wanted for anything in addition to what you are arresting them for.

 

Just food for thought.

I'd really like to have an option to add police cars to LSPDFR which would be able to respond when requested: the much used Highway patrol vehicles, state troopers or even fib, or iaa would come to save your day. I mean wouldn't it be great when there's a hostage situation or something like that, to request the feds instead of the lspd

First let me say you guys did a awesome job. The things I would like to see is:

* Call Paramedic

* Call Fire Department

* Use K-9 to search Car

*Issue Parking Tickets

*Search Cars.

I know there are plugins for this but would be awesome to have it in the LSPDFR mod. Thanks for all of the great work.
