I guess he's a minor celebrity! LOL

Yeah, poor Sam. Now he's going to get mobbed everywhere he goes. This is just something I do, but I usually leave my account logged in so I can return and check updates, ect, so usually it will display that I am online even though I am no where near my computer. Probably a terrible choice but there's that to consider. Makes it much easier than logging in every 10 minutes and its possible Sam is doing the same thing.

If I'm honest though I will admit that my mind is really sincerely hoping he's uploading the mod lol.

  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

Alright look, I understand that people are excited about the mod and the developers want to release it when it's ready but it's wholly unreasonable to have people "spamming F5" and posting literally once per minute about the hype if the mod is not going to be released for a week. I appreciate their hard work but all signs indicate that the developers are at the point where they can give a rough estimate and calm everyone down. At least talk about what interval we are looking at--minutes,hours,days, etc.

Or maybe they just enjoy watching the hype. If I worked on making such a mod, I too would enjoy watching everyone hype it up like Don King. But only within reason. We are nearing the point of absurdity.

It's nothing weird that the Community Founder and Manager is online people.

To anyone else saying that they haven't gotten an answer from anyone official; It is done when it's done. We never said it was supposed to be released today, yesterday, tomorrow or in a week, or in a year. We have not released any date whatsoever for LSPDFR.

You watch--I bet they just release the links to a bunch of trainers after weeks of accusations that the trailers and screenshots are nothing more than the work of trainer mods.

I.. Don't think so? It's just excitement at max :) I think as long as people are not rude it's ok.

That's the thing... because of all the hints being dropped, people are naturally assuming things and it's frankly getting a bit silly.

EXCUSE U or nahh because sam is actually god...

Agree. However, many members here are just discussing things in a normal manner, and its fair to say they have every right to post what ever they wish, as long as it stays on topic and within forum rules - I understand your opinions, however you are not a moderator, and therefore it isn't your responsibility to inform everyone of their conduct.

Everyone's conduct is fine and understandable--my point is that if people are staying up into the wee hours of the night expecting something that the powers that be know won't be released for at least X period of time, they could say so. Or maybe they enjoy the hype that much. Who knows.

Guys, look, I love video games, I love this mod, and I can't wait for it

But this is getting ridiculous.

Some of you are saying that the developers are obligated to do something. They aren't. Hell, they don't have to release the mod, they didn't have to make it, and they didn't have to post a feature preview. They wanted to.

So either you can go outside, or watch some TV and wait it out, and get a very nice mod (because as stated before they are looking over the code), or you can keep posting here asking why the mod hasn't been released.

G'Day!

I am just enjoying L"C"PDFR right now. There is nothing wrong with it other than crashes. Mine don't happen often so I am ok. I also have police explorers and a real life. While sometimes I make comments about how the advertisement is a bit off on the mod release, I am more than willing to be patient. As for as the hype and all, keep doing what you got to do. The only thing that can happen is your comments getting deleted. Enjoy life and before you know it, you'll be shoving Trevor in the back of a police cruiser.

Well thats something i personally wouldn't do! - We just have to wait until its ready, but until that time, sometimes its nice to have a little banter...keeps the thread healthy!

Its always the same. No patience. Like Police10101 wrote: "...go outside, or watch some TV and wait it out....". I mean, seriously, some of you act like the world is going to explode without a release today. Calm down, keep cool and enjoy when it finaly arrives. :)

If you don't want hype, don't tease it.

I also think it's bullshit that the mods are trying to stop the hype, hype is a good thing.

/rant over/

They aren't trying to stop the hype. They're trying to keep it under control. Some people just take this overboard and start complaining because they can't get what they want.

I don't want to say any names but one off the moderators seems super angered by people wondering what time the mod releases.

Look, i have all the patience in the world, and have plenty to be doing...playing video games isn't high on priority (Just wanted to make this clear).

It will be released when it's released, and no one can do anything about that, no matter how much some try. For the record, i just want to state that today has been the first day i've actually really made an effort and posted anything - or updated my profile(To an extent). I am mostly on the Codemasters F1 forum, as Formula One is my true passion...but law enforcement is a very close second ;)

I just wanted to make it clear that I for one will wait as long as it takes for this mod...and i certainly will not resort to any sort of 'bully' tactics towards anyone here, or any member of the development team...they have enough on their plates!
