One thing I hope will be added in is a feature where you can drag another downed officer to safety like shown here:

(couldn't find a better photo at this short notice srry)

I see it a lot when it got pointed out to me. Definitely something cool to add, maybe even a feature that can be placed as a separate script till then.

would like the lcpdfr had occurrences such as defusing bombs, cases of kidnapping, bank robberies and cases of corrupt police officers,so will be able become more realistic,i thank if u read this :D

I hope its released tomorrow or Saturday.  It would be a awesome way to start the weekend.

No men, LSPDFR doesn´t be released tomorrow or Saturday or Sunday, please wait and understand who G17 media needs more time to script this mod, I think they are scripting the mod faster than other times, just be patient ;)

Why not hope it's released tomorrow? What would be wrong with them releasing it tomorrow if they scripted the code to their satisfaction?

Everyone needs to chill. It will be posted when it is posted. In the mean time, get off your butt and do something in real life and time will fly by fast enough to where it will be released before you know it.

Most likely, in my opinion, I believe that it will be released after the upcoming update is released on Rockstar's side. This will give the development team enough time to fix anything if the update were to screw things up..

Well said man, all the speculation on when it will be released aint progressive.

As stated numerous times it'll be out when the team finds it satisfactory to release to the public, and by the looks of it I am assuming it shouldn't be that much longer. I'm really excited about the mod and it's one of the main reasons I bought GTA 5 for PC, I know the temptation kills and you wanna ask or discuss when it'll be done but it probably bugs a few peeps in this forum. If you focus your mind on other things you won't be busy worrying or wondering about it's release. Just don't fret things, pop in every once and a while and at some point you'll see the download link to the mod and you'll feel like a twelve year old kid opening presents, I know I will c:

I have an idea... if the Online police station contains an interview room, maybe we could have basic text-based interrogation of suspects? just for Roleplaying and moviemaking kind of stuff.

The problem with that is basically exclusive to online since it loads the textures there and not single player unless someone finds a way to add the other textures to single player.

My PROFILE

In theory, any texture that is used in GTA Online can be used in single player. No matter what, the textures and files are in everyone's GTA 5 files. It's just  a matter of writing a script that loads those files with their respective environment. That's how the OpenInteriors mod works

Yes, it would be great if someone could CODE a script to load the Police Station interior from GTA Online that we can access in singleplayer, like the jail cells, briefing room, hallways, locker room and captains office. The open all interiors mod opened the doors to the armoury, the hallways and briefing room (But they aren't loaded like in Online) and the captains office. If we could find a way to load that interior it would be great. There's also textures from the GTA Online character selection screen which could be useful in something

This is correct, they are (or rather should be) accessible to anyone willing to write code to access them. Nothing online is "exclusive" to online, if this was the case you wouldn't be able to spawn any of the online DLC cars in single player using a trainer.

I suspect textures and objects (the doors will be rendered objects so that they move) should be relatively in the same boat with regards to availability. However I haven't had a lot of time to delve into coding for GTA V and as such I can only speak from speculation of what I've seen from mods.

Don't let LMS catch you saying 'scripting' instead of 'coding'!

 Uh oh, forgot about that

Hard part about finding those textures and whatnot are that they are scattered throughout every x64.rpf in GTA 5's directory. And there are also a lot of doubled textures, so finding the right one wouldn't be easy. I imagine map mods are going to be hell to make

Well I myself have never been into modifying the map. I quite like the default map. But I can see why people would enjoy it. Fortunately with GTA V we have enough of a map to keep us occupied until someone finds a way to create map mods with ease.

I personally like the default map too. Besides, modding the map is borderline copyright infringement (Not sure about that, I read somewhere that Rockstar won't allow map mods. Can anyone confirm?) and a big hassle. Not worth it to me
