  • This is a nice way to think of it. I apologise if my absence from this topic has been alarming, and I'm sorry that we don't have something for all of you to play yet.  To be completely honest, if we

I'm not too sure about this but I think the the guys behind LSPDFR are the same guys behind Ragehook, so I'd think they would release at the same time

The RAGE plugin is being developed by LMS and some other guy who's name I can't remember (Sorry!).

not sure if you guys read what sam said but im pretty sure they said that they ran into some problems and was planning on Friday release so prolly not till next week now

Every day is different for them. One day, everything could go smoothly. The next could have a bug that would require all of LSPDFR to be recoded. There's really no way to say when LSPDFR will be ready for release until it is done to the team's satisfaction

@LMS and @MulleDK19 are the two developers behind Ragehook. LMS is also part of the development team behind LSPDFR. I believe both will come out at roughly the same time since you will need Ragehook installed for the mod to function. This is my assumption, as I am in the same boat as you guys when it comes to LSPDFR.

Did you not read everything he wrote? He said:

"The banner at the top still, in typical Sam fashion, still has the branding of a 'final countdown'.  If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't keep it up there."

So I don't think it'll take longer than this week, I could be wrong but my personal guess is between tomorrow and sunday.

Thanks for clearing stuff up with this. It is really appreciated

Ok I wont get it then... Thanks for saving me $20!!

It also depends on what type of person you are. Like sure I play GTA V and like GTA V, but I re-installed GTA IV to play LCPDFR again because it's what I first saw and grew on. I remember the first time watching Bay Area Buggs play LCPDFR and doing state week on Countryside Mountain V with Jeff, Chris, and Zach. Those were the days and moments I will always cherish and those were the reasons I got GTA IV and LCPD:FR.

Amen to that @bluke . @orrwhat4 uknown to what the release date will be. The best thing to do is really not to ask for a date because people here have a tendency to just get mad.

I know im in the miniscule minority on this and lots will have to try hard not to flame, but i'll repeat that release needs to be held back until custom models are importable in game. Otherwise its just meh since stock police cars are as usual, horrible.

Unless there is a compelling reason to release before than that is.

You can change the textures of them to make them your own as of now. The custom models are just bonuses to the game/mod. I understand where you are coming from but its just a bonus

I don't know, I love the Stanier, Buffalo, and the various SUVs. Holding back release for something like custom cars is a bit much, anyway.

I don't see why LSPDFR would need to be "held back" until there are car mods...they are two completely different things. LSPDFR is a script, car mods are models. You can play LSPDFR without car mods, and you could have car mods without LSPDFR. Just because you don't want to use the default cars doesn't mean the release of LSPDFR should be held back.

Also, LSPDFR adds brand new gameplay to the game. Car mods are only visual, they don't add any new gameplay aspects whatsoever. I don't see why their releases should coincide.

I agree with both of these statements. Well said @willpv23

LCPDFR and LSPDFR are both not even supported with car mods (or any other mods for that matter).

Further Willpv said it best. Holding back the release because of a select few refusing to touch the mod before car mods isn't viable. You are free to wait yourself til car mods are released.
