shadow3467 got a reaction from Mr.Quiggles in When will we see a release of a Crown Vic?They won't get released because the modelers are too dense to understand that 99% of people who want their model want it to USE and play with, not to change the color and call it their own.
I have to say, this is one of the most toxic modding communities I've seen thus far when it comes to models.

shadow3467 got a reaction from Scoobz187 in Zmodeler import exporter released! You do realize that the whole essence of modding is using something that's already there and MODIFYING it right?
I lose all respect for a "modder" if they are in favor of this locking thing, it's stupid and counter-productive. 99% of the people that want your Crown Vic model want it because they want to play with it, not because they want to re-upload it in a different color and say they made it themselves.

shadow3467 got a reaction from Småen in Are there currently any vehicle modelers who are willing to release their model if they won't be locked?Just wondering, this whole thing is absurd and very greedy.
There are modelers out there that have had their stuff pretty much near finished for weeks now but they won't release because they're afraid they won't get credit. That's right, they won't get IMAGINARY non monetary credit. Or they'll have their work stolen.
OH WAIT, most of their models are actually from other games such as Need for speed, driver, etc. so not entirely their work.
#1. That idea goes entirely against the whole spirit of MODDING communities.
#2. If you're not going to release anytime soon if ever, then stop teasing the community with your exclusive bullshit, pardon my french but I'm sick and tired of it. Keep it to yourself.
#3. Quite frankly, if you make mods and models for recognition and internet fame and credit, PLEASE POST IN HERE so that I know not to download your models if you ever do release. I prefer to enjoy the works of people who made that mod/product with the goal of it being to be ENJOYED by the community they love (cough]Finkone[cough).

shadow3467 got a reaction from Prophet in How stable is LCPDFR right now?I've heard a lot about how unstable and crashey it is, but I still wanted to try it because it seems more realistic than GTA 5.
If I run LCPDFR, custom cars and sirens, ELS and CryENB, how crashy is the game going to be? Without adding in things like 3rd party callouts etc.

shadow3467 reacted to JFavignano in GTA V Modded VehiclesYou are very welcome, I don't ever want to come across like I am better than anyone else. I am just a person like you that enjoys the same hobby.
Thank you so much for the support man, we have such a niche community and it is nice for us to get some positive recognition!

shadow3467 reacted to JFavignano in GTA V Modded Vehiclesno worries, if I find out that it is not a ALPHA and continues to be private you won't see it on my channel.

shadow3467 reacted to JFavignano in GTA V Modded VehiclesYes I am one of those lucky enough to be approached to alpha test a CVPI. I had a long chat with them before doing so because I don't believe in people flaunting a mod that no one can have, it pisses me off when people do it and I would never want that for my subscriber base and community. I explained how model locking is a power ego trip and it ruins what the community is all about, they assured me they were on the same opinion about it so I agreed to show it in my video. I will NOT support the work of modders that decide to act like children with the notion they own the 3d model of a car they never took the hours to create. I get that zmodeler isn't for everyone and I just don't have the time to learn it all, that is why I am so grateful for the ones that do take that time and create beautiful mods for GTA. I also understand it takes a long time to convert models, I am not hating on that at all but the audacity to keep showing off mods without the intent of releasing until locking is available is just down right low and it shows their character.
I appreciate all of you that said kind things about my character, I always will put my ass on the line for something I believe in. Keep being awesome.

shadow3467 reacted to NicC in Zmodeler import exporter released! You know they don't make the cars from scratch right? Its all just converted. For example the corwn vics are just converted from Driver San Fransisco.

shadow3467 got a reaction from Simulator4515 in Zmodeler import exporter released!I don't get it honestly, I know modelers put in work and stuff, but isn't that countering the whole spirit of modding?
You mod for the enjoyment of yourself and the community, not imaginary reputation/points. If there are actual vehicle modders out there withholding their models because they're afraid they won't get imaginary credit for them, then honestly that sucks and they're holding back the modding community
That's no different than Rockstar locking modding out of their game and saying the only way you're going to play is my way.

shadow3467 got a reaction from Scorpion313 in LSPDFR needs more jails, OR prisoner transportOk so far I'm loving everything about this mod and the mods that supplement it. So thanks everyone (not just G17) for all your work!
I have to say arresting is my favorite feature when it works (looking at you 12 mile foot pursuit), but what comes after arresting, well I've come to dread it a bit
There's not many jails or drop off places, and they're always a long drive,so I usually spend more time transporting a prisoner than I do patrolling, and when I have to arrest someone I hate what I have to do after.
So my suggestion is to add more drop off spots if possible, even if some may not have animation, either that or someone (FinKone wink wink lol) needs to add a prisoner transport feature, that'd be awesome!
Thoughts?

shadow3467 reacted to Sam in LSPD First Response 0.2a UpdateWe've released a small update to LSPD First Response 0.2, including a number of fixes to reported issues. Ever since the release of LSPDFR 0.2, we've been working to identify the most serious problems and glitches, and hope to have fixed all of these with this new update, LSPDFR 0.2a. Among the fixes and changes included in this update are the debut of non-lethal stun guns, easier arresting and better first person view compatibility.
Also included are a couple of new LSPDFR API functions for developers, including the ability to play audio over the new police radio that we introduced in 0.2, and better access to pedestrian persona data.
You can find LSPDFR 0.2a, along with a full list of changes, on the LSPDFR download page.

shadow3467 reacted to Sam in Ask for ID - Leave on Screen Longer PleaseWe introduced the radio system for a reason. There's no need to go to your car's computer to check IDs.
And, the system we use is fully native to the game. If you go to the pause menu you can bring up the 'brief', showing the latest notifications.
