The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2

Topic is LSPDFR not what controller to buy.

Does anybody else get the idea that LSPDFR is done but they've hidden the link somewhere? Eh, probably not...

Please stay on topic

Just helping a guy in need, no harm in that. And there's no way it's done, the team would do that to us. They spoil us :3

  • This is a nice way to think of it. I apologise if my absence from this topic has been alarming, and I'm sorry that we don't have something for all of you to play yet.  To be completely honest, if we

Not the right place for it, that's all.

As Sam posted, you should have a fairly good idea where we stand on the state of LSPDFR. Hopefully we have more to show off soon.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

sorry to go back to the controller topic real quick. The girl at Gamestop says any wired Xbox 360 controller will work fine I don't need one that says windows on it. I'm going to pick one up at Walmart and if it doesn't work I'll just return it thanks for the info

So many opportunities. To play as a LSPD officer, a LSSD deputy, a Park Ranger, Border Patrol, HWY Patrol....... The endless width. The awesome graphics. Amazing. Even with some basic police stuff only.

Will cops spawn with more props? I feel like in gta vanilla cops very rarely spawn with hats(Apart from when just standing outside of the police station). Just a small thing that i think would be cool, or maybe someone knows a script that does this already?

Sorry, meant they wouldn't do that to us. Typo :P

Can't tell you about the Xbox One Controller, but since the Xbox One didn't exist back when GTA IV was around, it'd be a safe bet to go with the 360 controller, that is the one I use for GTA IV/LCPDFR. Shouldn't be any issues passing onto LSPDFR/GTA V I wouldn't think.

I'd take Xbox One controller but it's more of a presonal preference.

The Xbox One uses different drivers but it will still work with LCPDFR and if LSPDFR has controller support, it will work with that too. There is no actual difference between a One and 360 controller except design and different drivers to run it.

"Police back on the beat" mod spawns them with more variety like hats. "Better police load-outs" gives the officers flashlights on guns and more realistic ammo amounts.

I hope on day  we can have peper spray !

Guys Continue like that , enjoy what your are doing and i hope LSPDFR coming verry soon,

And Thank's for you work !!

Pepper spray would be a great idea actually. I hope it's possible to make something like this. Are there animations that fit at least a little bit? Or could you possibly ragdoll the person who gets pepper spray in his face?

Edit: Or maybe use the effect from the tear gas that's already in the game?

Edit2: I don't know, but maybe the animation where gang members shoot with one hand only would be quite fitting.

Tuesday June 9th, still no sight of LSPDFR. Must...arrest....innocent civilians...

Yes :-) First thing I'll do: Find the next best redneck and then.... "get the fuck on the ground, it's the lspd" :-D

I actually would rather have a script that gets rid of the hats. I've never seen a single LAPD officer on patrol, in my 14 years here in LA, wear one unless it was for ceremonial purposes. That goes for the sheriffs within the city too. Not sure about the areas in the northern outskirts of the city though.

I'm assuming that we are able to choose how our officers look just like in LCPDFR, right? I guess we can already do it through a trainer, but it's still a feature I'd like to see.

None of those mods seem to add more hats spawnin :s

Well I live in Sweden and I'm using swedish police models atm, and here police always has a hat on.  So a simple script that would give all cops hats or no hats at all would be nice :P Or that its included in LSPDFR

I don't think you need a script for that, it's just the removal of some files (using openiv). I remember I did that in GTA IV.

Wouldn't the game detect a missing file?

Wouldn't the game detect a missing file?

In gta iv I removed the hats via the pedprops file and that caused no problems whatsoever. Haven't tried it in gta v yet.
