The Final Countdown - LSPDFR Trailer 2

You should be reminding Sam and LMS of that as well...

I believe he's referring to posts saying "this is getting old" and "this is annoying" because the mod wasn't released yet when they checked the site.

Yeah, why don't you put my name on it as well. My comment has nothing to do with the release of the mod. Simply having a bad day.

Wow. This community became hideously toxic all of a sudden. Not deserving of anything.

Hideously toxic? Not deserving of anything? I dont see see any posts in any way shape or form deeming us "Not deserving of anything" Just because people like to state their opinions and are a little upset and mislead by the 2nd trailer post about it "Coming Soon" or it being "The Final Countdown" that dosent make us toxic, Thats a very close minded opinion of people being disappointed because they are so excited for the release of this mod, dont get peoples passion confused with disrespect.

An update would be great. From time to time. Like 70% of the mod is done, or something like this.

I doubt "70% of the mod is done", I'm pretty sure that's much less than that.
The real question is, and that's what they are I guess waiting for,  "Is the mod in a playable state for a public release?".

But that's just for a first release, there's much more work to be done.

The same guy from GTAForums.

LSPDFR will be released when Sam wants to release it.

This. I like the release policy "done when it's done" rather than rockstars release policy "we set a date and hope it's done".

"Some say that the outline of his left nipple is exactly the same shape as the Nurburgring, and if you give him a really important job to do, he’ll skive off and play croquet."

We all know what the deal is. And I don't mind waiting.

But you know, something is purple when it's purple. I'm sleeping when I'm asleep. I broke my ankle when I broke my ankle.

When it's released I'm happy ;)

Was making a rant post to those people, decided this topic needs less of that and more discussion of LSPDFR.

I'm pretty sure this was already covered a bit before, but to bring it up again: what features do you think will be in the first version of LSPDFR? Do you think there will be any new features we've not yet seen in LCPDFR or the trailers? What types of calls do you think will be available in this first release? Any new ones, perhaps?

Hopefully these discussions wont affect the release date too much - it would suck for people like me that just check these forums and keep very updated without actually typing too much.

Excited for lspdfr? Absolutely!! :)

I hope that checking people on foot is a feature (don't know if i was already mentioned). Frisking, Id-Check, detaining...something like that.

I know that almost every hiker in San Andreas is used for drug trafficking. The guys with the big backpacks, you know....a lot of space for illegal shit :-D

Remember when Doctor GTA was high from eating chalk, and he made a video saying he was banned from GTA:O but then said he wasn't banned from GTA:O and he was really invited, by Rockstar Games, to test a new "Police Update" that would be "like LSPDFR, but better"?

How does this guy have viewers and subscrubers, i'm so confused...

Sam and his volunteer team have not failed to deliver what they promise. From the many LCPDFR releases they have always been dedicated to improving and stabilizing what I and many others consider a masterpiece in its own right. We have not ever been left with a "dead" or canceled mod like many other seemingly promising projects.

We all understand excitement. We all feel it. But we also have to understand we are not small children. It can be understandably tiring to hear the equivalent of "Are we there yet?" from passengers over and over when you are doing all the work. Our moderators are also waiting patiently for LSPDFR just like we are.

When LSPDFR arrives it will be great as proven by LCPDFR. This is Sam's house that he and his team built with their own hands and we should all respect it as such. Besides even Judge Dredd knows: Sam is the Law

I honestly don't think it will have any affect on the releasedate.

That! Also I can't wait to ticket all these peds on foot ignoring the red light, making every car wait like they don't give a f...

Without LSPDFR you can still beat them up :-). Like the trooper in gta IV says: "hands on the head or brain is on the street, your choice" :-D

Well I have been away from LCPDFR for a long time and I came back and watched Finkones videos and I am amazed at what can be done. He had a coroner, EMS, firefighters, and cool functions like tow trucks and taxi cabs. He had backup call outs too and I saw some sort of low jack function where he had a readout that got higher the closer he got to the stolen car. He could put down traffic barriers or stop traffic all together. All this stuff worked pretty well too with no real problems. He tweaked the cars handling so the other cop cars wouldn't drive so poorly.

I hope we can do all of this in LSPDFR (eventually) and more. What an absolute GREAT mod for the GTA series.

For GTA 5? Don't think so. Replacing the entire GTA 5 map would take months to complete. There are ten's of thousands if not hundred's of thousands of textures for the GTA 5 map. Besides, I meant big changes. Not a couple of texture edits. Something like a new building at the least

There are already people that have replaced the map man.  So saying its impossible is just wrong.  :x. Just google it lol.

Edit to not add new spam.  Lawl at his reply on the next page.  No one will even see this, but I had to lawl some where.  "Did you even read my post" ... Yes.  I have the quote right above my reply... "Replacing the entire GTA 5 map would take months to complete" ... someones already done.

Note to people that just post to post... it won't get you a early copy of LSPDFR.

yep, someone's already put the Vice City map into it, just shows how fast this stuff is happening.
