Going to pin and feature to put this whole issue to rest once and for all. No you will not be banned for single player mods.     If you feel that this topic has been pinned in error, please repo

Im glad R* finally decided to openly address this subject. You would think it something like this wouldn't be such a big issue but it has been. People are quick assume and have hissy fits. Either way, i hope everyone can relax now and just enjoy the darn game.

Well, instead of asking questions 'bout singleplayer mods, they should have asked if there will ever be a way to use mods in multiplayer without getting banned. In a private lobby maybe...

So Icon just said "No, you will not get banned for SP mods" and you say "It's a risk you take". What?

Make sure to quote me if you want my attention, my specs and other things are on my profile.

Wow. This is the first time that Rockstar has "broken the fourth wall" and discussed mods and named a couple, the zombie mod and the original map mod. It's too bad they could not have named LCPDFR. The recognition would be pretty cool.

Indeed, is there anything weird with that? Having mods in Singleplayer may cause you to be banned from Online if you enter Online. You modify the game on your on risk, that is all I am saying.

I had my fingers crossed of the 0.00001% chance that Rockstar says, "We are willing to work with the LCPDFR Development team".

Ah well.

Same, I wanted to hear Rockstar say, "We are willing to work and help LCPDFR Development team. "

"We are prepared to work with the LCPDFR Development Team in releasing an outstanding law enforcement/policing modification, limited to Grand Theft Auto V's singleplayer." Guess we'll just keep dreaming, lol.

They didn't directly answer the FOV question though, and that's what worries me.

My personal inbox is not the support forum. I don't mind helping  you with your issues, but you are responsible for your research.  I am not a page in a manual, Google, or the forum search function - look through all three before asking.
A link to a handy how-to guide for getting useful solutions to your problems, and useful answers to your questions. A lot of it may seem irrelevant, but it outlines some great practices to use when seeking answers or solutions.

Generally speaking they're implying (although they didn't outright state) that any and all modifications to GTA Online, no matter how large or small, are able to get you banned.  The FOV mod is more than likely included there.  If they start tolerating some mods but not others, it will be difficult to draw the line.  Safer to ban all GTA Online mods.
