LSPDFR Announcement + Preview

Featured Replies

Well, if ANPR is implemented and it shows the plates as belonging to a person with a warrant, it could be useful.

Well, ANPR only says that the vehicle owner has a warrant for their arrest. Not the driver. So you have to check the licenses before making the arrest (Or at least should). Besides, in LCPDFR you could aim at a car and order everyone in the car out (That is if that feature will be in LSPDFR). So if you really need to, just pull them over and order them out

  • A trailer showcasing animations doesn't make for very good viewing, especially not for a first reveal.  Was it a normal cop chase?  No, every entity involved in the pursuit except the player was spaw

I found this video so annoying that I took it upon myself to correctarrow-10x10.png him. I'm not sure if I did it right tho :P

this is what I said

"Just thought you should know there are three police mods. Theres SAPDRR (palm beach games) they produced the GTA:SA version. The mod you're playing (Police Mod) and LSPDFR (still in development) created by G17. The G17 group created the GTA 4 mod. I hope this makes sense, and I thought I should correctarrow-10x10.png you as sapdfr (now sapdrr) and lspdfr aren't the same."

i always thought SAPDFR was made by the G17 team, but then again, ive heard les of it then LCPDFR. LCPDFR, & LSPDFR.

question? why didnt you decide to name it SAPDFR? Being this mod applies for the whole San Andreas map & LS County is only half the GTA V Map. (Freakin Rockstar douches ignoring Red County, San Fierro & Las Venturas)

There is no SAPD, so logically you can't have an SAPDFR. Nor is there a Blaine County law enforcement unit. There are only three uniformed law enforcement agencies: San Andreas Highway Patrol (actually the LS Highway Patrol ingame), LSPD, and LSSD. SAHP is virtually irrelevant as a law enforcement agency. LSSD covers the majority of the map, but it pretty much covers the less interesting part. LSPDFR sounds better than LSSDFR, and the LSPD is the more developed uniformed agency (for IV, it was LCPDFR and not ASPFR, even though there was an Alderney State Police).

Another question: Will the marines play any role in LSPDFR? And what about FIB agents, do they have any place in LSPDFR? I would like to see them in LSPDFR, but I'm not sure how. The mod would feel somewhat incomplete without all versions of the police in GTA 5

There will be no military involvement in LSPDFR, although Sam has considered adding the FIB as the most powerful backup that will help in pursuits, something like HRT.

I'm kinda happy to hear that the military won't be in LSPDFR. Having the military as a backup team would be a little too much. But I see the FIB fitting in somewhere, maybe something undercover. Absolutely love your username by the way :D

In older version of the LCPDFR different speech lines were attached to Numpad and named "random intimidation phrase" and "random pursuit phrase". So technically it was possible to select specific lines, attach them to different buttons, and use in a suitable situation.

Though I'd like to save those pull-over phrases, it's more interesting that way. And also more realistic for me.

Warning: This is yet another suggestion (or question, if you will). I just forgot to group it with the last one I sent.

Considering tow trucks are in GTA V by default, does that mean we'll be able to tow away illegally parked vehicles/the vehicles of suspects we've arrested? Sure, vehicles disappear in the game for technical reasons, but I think it would add to the immersion factor to be able to call in a tow truck instead.

Ah'm orderin' you to STAHP!

God dammit! Now you've got me excited for something that might not actually happen!

Sorry :D
but the rage plugin logo is in some (if not all) the LSPDFR photos. It will be brilliant if that is the release as I have a two week break from my A-levels :D
Its also close to UK half term so I'm home all week

LSPDFR coming with rage???
BTW im not asking for the release date i'm just pointing it out :D

Seems plausible to me. I really hope that this is the case. Thanks, you got me excited again.. my hype just cooled down a little! >:(

What are this plugin's advantages? I'm not too good at ones and zeroes...

That's a good question for either LMS or Sam, all I've understood is that it is more awesome than the current existing one. (Extremely technical, I know).

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Its exciting to see some information about the Rage Hook. They really know how to build up suspense. I'm interested to know what the plugin brings to GTAV.

I'm guessing (complete speculation) that it allows gta4 scripts to be converted to gta5 easily.

Don't think that is true. In essence, it is the same as Alexander Blade's scripthook, only more advanced.
