This is a post that begs the question, should there be children or teens in Gta, I mean, there are children in Fallout and Skyrim. Here are some pros and cons

 

Pros: Would make LCPDFR more realistic by adding new mission call outs (such as arresting kids or teens drinking). Would make the game more realistic in General. 

 

Cons: might make the game banned in a lot of countries, might give gta an AO rating. Jack Tompson would be having a field day, and so would Fat PTA soccer moms

 

So what do you guys think?

I think it would be cool to have kids in gta but not if it means to have it banned

I'm really not sure about this to be honest. The police officer in me categorically agrees that there are no kids in GTA, I mean, Child (Sexual) Exploitation is a massive problem, and putting kids in GTA only to get shot, blown up or run over by some mentalist would not please a lot of people. However, the gamer in me thinks it would add immersion, and, as you say, new callouts for LCPDFR.

 

I don't think it will ever happen, if they were implemented I guarantee it would be banned in a majority of countries the game is published in.

In cut-scenes yes, on the path, no. I think in certain side missions too, or scenarios yes, but any form of violence or whatnot towards them is a recipe for disaster. 

I don't know what you're talking about, kids are all throughout GTA. Not in the game, but the community. :P

 

OT: I would love to see kids in the game but I don't think it will happen. People will complain and cry about it because it's of bullshit reasons like child abuse, ect.

Children in GTA? Maybe, biggest thing is people will cry out because it will give the possibility of rape, child abuse, killing them brutally, etc.  

What about teenagers?

Technically there are already children in GTA. However you'll never see them outside of cutscenes. Rockstar would never put children in a GTA game.. They were going to with GTA 3, however they were cut out. Plus, i'm glad that there aren't children in GTA.. I don't know about all you, but i wouldn't like killing a kid. whether it be in a video game or not.

I know the game wont be banned in Canada, USA, UK, Japan, or some of the Latin American Countries, although it might get an AO rating in the US

Could it be possible to have a mod that includes kid npcs in GTA?

You could never have kids in A Grand Theft Auto game.There will always be that one asshole that will walk up to a mother and her 4 kids (In-game) and just shoot the kids.He puts it on Youtube, everyone labels GTA  as a Murder Simulator, and it gets slapped with a AO rating by the ESRB. Their will never be children in Grand Theft Auto and that's probably for the best.

i dont think it would be such a great idea now maybe when the game was younger but things are too crazy now for something like that ( i dont like this topic i feel just reading on about it is making me sick)

That`s true. I can`t imagine that being to hard to do.

Except they are invincible. I think you can even exploit kids in Skyrim by repeatedly beating on them since they never die (or maybe used to be able to? I remember hearing that somewhere). I don't think Rockstar would add invincible NPCs, and they definitely wouldn't want you to be able to murder children. It just brings more bad press to the game that is easily avoided.
