I've always wanted more results from frisking a suspect in lcpdfr. It seems like there are only like 3 different outcomes, stolen credit cards, a weapon, and illegal drugs. I feel like there should be more things you can find on the suspect, for example: Stolen IDs, Fake IDs, Stolen Property, Drug Paraphernalia, Digital Scale, Large Amounts of Money, etc. And more specific things for finding a weapon or illegal drugs: Handgun, Knife, Sawed Off Shotgun, Knife, Blunt Weapon. Oh and maybe add the possibility of finding more than just one thing. Would this be hard to implement into lcpdfr? I don't know coding and all that s*** but isn't just randomly generated text?  What do you fellas think?

You can kinda have that now with a combination of mods to a degree

If u use the K9 mod the dog can detect drugs on a person or his vehicle.

At same time you can use the mod that detects drugs like heroine.

So potentially you could pull over a speeder and find drugs on his person or in his car; as well as perhaps having a weapon when ya frisk him.

But yeah I'd love more additions as time goes on :D

Oh and maybe add the possibility of finding more than just one thing.

This might be slightly off topic, but I'll be completely honest I get torn on what to do everytime weapon pops up because depending on what kind of weapon there's different laws that regulate it.

 

 

A gun isn't always illegal, he could have a permit for it... or he could be a convicted felon carrying a fully auto rifle.

Knives are perfectly legal to own, bout the only reason I'd have to prosecute/arrest someone for having it, is if it matches a nearby crime.

(Women gets mugged by knife, find suspect a block down running with a knife.)

 

 

So more clearity on the weapon or information regarding the suspect would be nice there.

I think that something similliar for drugs would be cool. How much and what type. Is it just personal consuption or did we nail a dealer.

 

So I guess I'm saying more information on the outcomes could lead to a better sense of variety.

 

 

 

 

That would be easy to do for the devs and could open some new possibilities for modders. @BlackJesus1: as a creator of this topic it'd be great of you could make a nice list of suggested items, eg.

 

• IDs of unknown origin (you don't know if they are stolen/counterfeit etc.),
• knife,
• screwdriver (let go or "take downtown"),
• machine pistol,

and so on. It could help when devs decide to add some.

I wouldn't mind having some "homemade tools" found such as ones for breaking into cars, shanks or crudely made hommade knives, large wads of cash, used syringes etc.

Well, per officer voicelines and probably through other in-universe media, weapons of most kinds are supposed to be banned in Liberty City.
