im a writer so far almost done with college and work in a law office. i might want to go to grad school to be a lawyer unless my book works out. im also an english major and photo minor what are you guys doing with your life or want to do 

Currently an economics student. Might double major with political science, I haven't decided yet. I don't have a specific career in mind that I want to do yet, but that's what college is for. I'd like to get a job or internship in DC (UMD is just a few miles from DC), maybe with the government, a non-profit, or a business. Something on the Hill would be awesome. Annapolis is another place I'd like to work, specifically with the state government or the Maryland General Assembly. I know a few members of the Maryland House of Delegates and Senate that I'd love to work for. Baltimore is a bit far for work while I'm at school, but afterwards it would also be an option for me that would be pretty close to home.

First I wanna be done with this High School bulls***. After this I want to join the Army Reserves while in college, to gain experience, skills and to help pay off the inevitable crippling debt(lolz). I want become a police officer somewhere out west like Texas, Oregon, Nevada, or Washington because I'm starting to hate the Northeast. And hopefully I will have saved up enough money to start my own emergency vehicle outfitting company. I really want to outfit cars in real life, although modding is close enough right now. 

I'm in high school right now, junior. After I graduate, I want to go to college somewhere in the north or Nevada maybe and get a doctorate degree in computer science or some aspects of technology, and from that takes like 4 to 5 years, I think I'm ready. I just want to make a change in this world.

First I'm going to finish high school, then I'm thinking about being a police officer with either the Sheriff's Office, Tacoma PD, or move to Leavenworth or Spokane where there's snow.
Or I'll go into photography or get a job and be one of those people that works on police cars and stuff.

I want to do something in software and web development. I get through the tutorials well, but doing it on my own doesn't work well. I plan on going to University to further study it,but for now, I'm just going through the Code Academy course.

I have a bit of experience in graphic design and I'm enjoying it quite well, I just want to take things from looking pretty, to working well.

Starting an flight training major at a local university this fall where learning is done from inside the cockpit, my biggest dream is US Naval Aviation. Due to the nature of the military & the lottery form of giving jobs it's a pretty difficult job to get, but there no sense in not trying

I have stated in a few topics over the years i have been here. I was originally going to be a Police Officer with the Tasmania Police here in Australia, however with their extremely ridiculous requirements and how i have seen some officers behave/interact with the public.. i soon realized that i would never be a police officer in this state, if i lived in a different state then my decision would be different.

 

Now, i'm working towards being a CSI (or known here as a Forensic Analyst) so i still get to work with law enforcement but i don't have the danger.. and i get to have fun on occasions. I'll need to finish my final year of college (which is defined different to American college), then i'll need to do a 3 year course at University so i can get a bachelors degree in Criminology.. if all goes well i'll be processing crime scenes in 2019.

Get my ass out of this.

And on to this.

I'm currently on the search for jobs and no luck so far yet; I'm also hoping to study Mandarin Chinese in open uni later this year.

Keep slaving for the capitalist machine, for the moment :P

I want to either,

1) Join the Swedish armed forces (Almost non-existing)

2) Move to the U.S, and after service in the military, going into law enforcement. 

or 3) Move to the UK nad look into a career in Policing. 

 

Although i have a couple of years to change my mind.

well... I want to become a police officer here in belgium when I finish high school. 

Well, I'm going to do aerospace engineering for the next four years. After which I'm going to hopefully join the RAF (Royal Air Force) as a fast jet pilot, so hopefully I'll end up in the Eurofighters instead of the F-35's, I'm also considering the Royal Navy as an F-35, but my preference remains with the RAF. After maybe 20/25 years in the military I will convert my military pilots licence into a civilian pilots licence and fly for British Airways until I'm forced to retire.

If there is anyone on lcpdfr which has experience with RAF or RN recruiting (aircrew or officer selection) or even University Air Squadron interviews, any advice you provide means a lot to me.

Going to college after I get my 5 GCSE. So far I have one. 

 

In the next couple of months will be survival and I need to pass. Hopefully in the future I can join the army....

I'm doing a diploma in computer science, then hopefully going in to a degree in game development. After that, I'll probably die in a huge explosion in a knife fight with my nemesis on the rim of a volcano or something.

I'm a qualified Security Officer and I'm a volunteer First Responder with St John Ambulance SA and I use to volunteer with the SA Ambulance Service, I hope to one day after getting a few more years of experience in the security field and moving from general guarding I would like to apply for my H6 certificate which is what a Security Officer is required to have to carry a fire arm, either that or join the SAPOL (south Australia police) security protective services.
