TOP WAYS TO TAKE DOWN LIZARD SQUAD !

Featured Replies

Heyy,

i took some thought into this. I have just come to the point as other posts in this community have said they barely have I.T Skills. It is either that EA,PSN, and Xbox have a bunch of simple Applications letting manage all those Servers, Websites ( part of their servers as it is hosted of them ) and what not. It is the fault of the Company. If Xbox server would have been taken down, that means the reputation of Xbox, Microsoft, has been lowered. Because in this case they do have good DDoS Protection. The fact that wonders me is what the hell the CIA is doing. So basicly, Sony is another piece of cake (problem). So Sony,Xbox,PSN,EA have been hacked. Do you guys see any connections between them ? I know that PSN is something belonging to Sony. Xbox part of Microsoft, and EA is the company itself. So basicly, Microsoft,Sony, Electronical Arts ( EA ) we're hacked. Hmmmmm. BUT WHY GAME SERVER. Why did Lizard , those bunch of faggot ass retards, not hack BBC, or CNN. What the f*ck are gameservers worth for them ? Nothing. Between us, Gameservers are gameservers, but if they really had great I.T skills, the US Government's system or any other countries system would have been hacked like sauce by now.

Companies should :

1. Check their staff. Do lie detector tests. ( THE FBI SHOULD DO THAT )

2. Lizard says on their Twitter that they are in the U.S.A ( they aren't ) the US Government should ask twitter for their emergency response squad, to track those Hackers. IF THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN. I am sorry but it leads me to the one and only topic. Does the US Government want to be hacked ?  I DON'T THINK SO RIGHT NOW. But if Twitter refuses to do so, the public will realize that behind all of this is just Drama. BUT THAT IF THAT WAS THE RESULT IN TWITTER NOT TRACKING THEM.

3. Simply let Undercover special agents of the federal bureau of investigations to get into some contacts.

4. SWAT any building/s that redirects them to the IP given by Twitter ( if twitter traces Lizard )

5. Let the U.S Government recruit top high hackers, paying them to be their squad, trace the hackers of microsoft,ea,and sony.

They evidently don't have good DDoS protection -- otherwise this wouldn't have happened.

They also didn't "hack". DDoSing is just flooding a server.

In response to:

  • What makes you think they have jobs? There are plenty of ways to make money online, including by them selling their DDoS services, which they can prove work.
  • It's too easy to disguise your location on the Internet. There's no way they could track them unless they did something very stupid (e.g. using their home IP and not using a VPN)
  • I don't see how that would help at all. These people can tell agents a mile away. Plus, they probably don't need the real names of each other (this would make sense incase one person got raided).
  • Again, I highly doubt they'd allow that to happen.
  • See point 3.

I really don't think the US will deploy both the FBI and SWAT (especially SWAT since they cost the government a whole heap of money everytime they're deployed) over an Internet DDoS attack. The companies involved are all gaming (PSN,Microsoft, EA) so the chances of the government getting involved is pretty slim as this attack hasn't done anything that breaches anything to do with the government.

Honestly, people shouldn't try and stop them.. they're all companies that have billions of dollars, they should have purchased top-notch DDoS protection ages ago.

In many cases it is Sony, et al own fault for not upgrading their own IT security protocols to fend off these 'hacking' groups. Furthermore, if I recall weren't some members of LS caught recently?

Cheers.

The way I see it, they've all had this coming for a while. If they care so much about their customers experience they won't go for the cheaper options when it comes to security. The likes of Microsoft and Sony make Billions, why can't they invest some of that money in better protection? when it comes to companies like these its all about the profit.

This doesn't mean I believe in what Lizard Squad are doing either, they don't seem to have a reason to take the companies offline they just do it for fun or gain.

Why would the US Government get involved, Sony and Microsoft aren't just American companies, they are Global. I'm also guessing that 'high-level' hackers would want a lot of cash to work for companies like this.

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.

Microsoft is an American company, which makes crimes committed against them an FBI problem. Sony Computer Entertainment is not; I'm not sure why the US government would be responsible for investigating crimes against them. It's not like the Sony Pictures attack, because a) Sony Pictures is an American company, b) that attack actually crippled them for a week, and c) there was reason to believe it was an attack by a foreign government against an American company (and the US government's job includes protecting Americans from attacks by foreign governments).

this is the funniest thread i have ever seen in my life

thank you for putting a massive target on LCPDFR, i'm sure the mods/system admins really appreciate that

let's go through and take a look at the points you've made

1. violation of civil liberties (this sounds like something from a clockwork orange

2. this has nothing to do with hacking, it's ddosing. not to mention, twitter is a company, not a le agency, profits before people

3. what

4. VPN

5. the US spends millions on social engineers each year, however they are too busy reading these messages and decrypting tor browsers to give a shit

Just to add to what you have already said, I do recall Lizard Squad mentioning on Twitter that they do have a reason for these floods. Their reason implies that the consumer should be irritated with the producer for not providing efficient security in a way that affects them. What this means is that we should be angry and annoyed with these companies for being greedy to the point where they don't really care about security, or customer happiness. They are making an example of these companies to show that they really don't care.

This is what they posted on Twitter earlier during the Xbox and PSN outages.

Oh hey, it's the "show me your licence G17 media!" guy!

Anyways, on topic, the US Government doesn't have to investigate anything here because it's just a bunch of "scriptkiddies" (as they have been described before) who don't pose any real threat, not to mention it costs a heap of money to launch SWAT operations and investigate LizardSquad thoroughly. As mentioned above by someone else, the reason the US Government investigated the Sony Pictures hack (which was indeed a HACK rather than just a DDOS) is because they're an american company and it is believed to have been an attack from a foreign country.

LizardSquad is just an annoyance, but Microsoft, Sony and any other companies falling under similar categories such as EA should invest in better protection against DDOSing, because it's evidently causing a lot of problems for them.

But this starts to become a problem when service is out for days. Those of us on Xbox PAY for Xbox Live, and each day we lose is money down the toilet, which is why this can't just be tossed to the side and ignored. If this keeps happening, it's going to piss a lot of people off.

While this is true, Microsoft and Sony both have the resources to get the necessary protection against these attacks.

When this becomes a true financial issue that Microsoft or Sony cannot fight against and/or this becomes a privacy concern for clients, then the US Government will begin to intervene.

And this is what pisses me off. They have the resources, but they don't care enough to.
