  1. Four GTX Titan Z's should do alright. Kidding. I have a GTX 645 (unfortunately) and I can run GTA V just fine. A 760 is what I would get if I were you.
  2. Nice! Really like the look of this so far. Hopefully it gets better before release, could use more options. I like the car spawning and the weather options especially - the thunder storms are 100x better in the PC version.
  3. I'm downloading it! The time is finally here! 3 minutes until complete! Halleluja!
  4. ...nothing? EDIT: I RELOADED STEAM AND I CAN'T CONNECT TO THE SERVERS AND I AM REALLY ANGRY
  5. Yesss! That just made my day :)
  6. 4PM PST on April 14th. I am going to be spinning in my chair when I see that loading screen.
  7. There's no doubt that within the first few days of the PC release, there will be glitching galore. Hacking will be 10x easier than on consoles, and Rockstar will have their work set out for them to nick all of those vulnerabilities. I'm not worrying about modding support. I think they'll have some way to allow mods for regular SP and some other way to severely limit them in Online.
  8. Grand Theft Auto V is now officially in my GTA collection.
  9. Sounds absolutely perfect to me.
  10. I think it'll be quite stable, actually. I don't think they've delayed the PC version for this long just to scrape some poly's.
  11. Hahahaha, have fun dealing with RGSC. Hopefully we don't have a repeat of the GTA IV launch disaster. Never forget
  12. The ELS settings regarding the despawning of ELS cars and whatnot aren't really reliable. At all.
  13. Be lucky enough to have somebody give EVI's to you. I've seen some other Valor's floating around, although they were a bit lack luster. However, that would be fine for someone just starting off such as yourself. You could also make one, as PS3Gameplays suggested. After you've got some stuff released, and can prove you're up to bat for the modding scene, someone will be willing to give you theirs. You'll probably have to map it yourself, though.
  14. Why on Earth would they rebuild WTC as the exact same? I think that's a dishonor to all those who died as result of 9/11, and that's just a lot of money for the rebuilding of two towers that were knocked down by terrorists - with the exact same appearance. I'm glad they did something unique with the new WTC, and they also dedicated quite a lot of land to it's memorial. Also, responding to the last part of the quote above, there were already multiple WTC buildings before 9/11. I believe only 3 were destroyed and another seriously damaged, so the construction of new buildings was totally fine. Also, I'm sure that they didn't just build them for the shits and giggles, saying that the city didn't need them simply because they didn't dedicate anything to the skyline is absurd. Also, methinks it's worth mentioning that the statement "the new WTC could easily be knocked down just the same" is quite invalid. If you recall, airport security was pretty lax before 9/11, and the chances of three terrorists getting through airport security with weapons is near impossible. Even if they did get through security, they'd be shot down well before they even got near the New York skyline. --- also
  15. Back up your files, listen for ambulance sirens. If you hear 'em, run. Welcome to LCPDFR!
  16. Whoa whoa whoa. You just ignored almost everything that has been said before. Who said anything about prostitutes being beaten for money? And, further more, forced prostitution and willing prostitution are totally different things. Forced is when they are made to be addicted to drugs and forced by a pimp to sell their bodies on the street so that they can satisfy their addiction. Willing prostitutes are usually normal people, sometimes without pimps, sometimes aren't addicted to drugs, and generally have "standards". The kind of legalized prostitution we're talking about is in regulated brothels with people who are STD tested, condoms are provided, and nobody is forced to do anything. Prostitutes aren't beaten up by customers, that's a totally null point. Nobody provides a "pay me to beat me up" service. Maybe your idea of sex and physical abuse are skewed. However, I'm totally against pimping and forced prostitution and street prostitution, because they aren't regulated at all, there's health risks, and it's usually quite dirty. --- Back to the subject of morals - some people don't see sex as a beautiful thing. They see it as pure pleasure. That's it. The argument of "sex is a beautiful thing that should only be between two partners in love" really isn't a good excuse. If you want to know the reason why I am in support of a regulated, legal prostitution service, it's because it makes it safer for the people who don't share that opinion on sex. If prostitution remains illegal and unregulated, people will be put at risk for STD's, and the market for forced street prostitution will remain wayyy up, making it so that pimps actively look for young girls to abduct, force drugs into, and put on the street to sell their bodies. Fuck that shit. Offer a safe, regulated place for women to work and make some money, and for guys to have another option as opposed to using an STD ridden street hooker.
  17. Unless there's a good reason for it (extreme damage, structurally unsound, whatever) I don't see a reason to tear it down and rebuild it. Hell, just build something brand new and original nearby, that's the exact same outcome but you keep the empire state building! What a deal!
  18. I am fine with legalizing regulated prostitution, and I am against legalizing street prostitution, pimps, human trafficking, etc etc. People can do whatever the hell they want with their bodies, it doesn't affect me at all. I agree with the argument of not wanting to see two people going at it in a car in an alleyway. That's wrong even if the two people are married. The reason I find it absurd to compare this to the legalization of rape or child pornography is because prostitution is a victim-less crime unless one or both of the persons involved have STD's, which would be solved by having such activities regulated by STD checks, condom use, and private areas for the activity to occur which would not disturb anyone else. Police should be able to focus on pimping, human trafficking and drug use. I even think that prostitutes who are being forced or controlled by pimps should be given more support if picked up off the street. I only see benefit from the legalization of regulated prostitution. Just like if Marijuana is legal in your state/wherever you live, you don't have to smoke marijuana. Nobody is forcing you to. You can go about your day totally unaffected by the man smoking in his house. However, my own counter argument to that is that I dislike when people smoke on the street, however, I already solved the prostitution equivalent of that issue above. Regarding morals or religion, or whatever - sure, to you, sex may be a romantic, passionate thing between you and your lover, that's all fine and dandy. Nobody is saying that you have to abandon those morals by going out and buying prostitution services. You can share your love with someone else however you wish, however, other people may not share your morals/religion, and you shouldn't prohibit them from doing something that *would be* totally safe and private just because you don't like it. That's like me saying, "I don't like people who smoke cigarettes, it's against my morals. And some other people share those morals. Let's make it illegal!" but my opinion is my own, and just because I don't like smoking doesn't mean I should prohibit everyone else from smoking. It's their lungs, it's your body. Religion, personal morals and opinion should never be the basis of law. Anyways. I'm on board with allowing regulated prostitution, and continue fighting unsafe, non-private street prostitution, human trafficking, pimping and drug use.
  19. Full Size Version of CrimeChart 3 http://download.lcpdfr.com/downloads/cache/2247/CrimeChart%20V.3.0.jpg?st=5yV9IahaMQwUvQZJXrqkDg&e=1427071687&p=1085&iehack=.jpg It's quite basic, I might get around to finishing 4 sometime.
  20. YES! Love this damn game. 100% worth my money.
  21. When do you hear these short beeps? Regularly, say, every few seconds or something? Or is this just when you start up your computer? Some computers (including mine) beep once when the computer is turned on. This comes from the motherboard and signifies that the BIOS has begun running. However, this is from the motherboard, and wouldn't come from the speakers and also wouldn't stop when you had a headset plugged in.
