Dear Lord, I was just thinking Custo would show up.

Because of the amount of people in the city center (especially during weekends) my local ambulance service uses bicycles to get around. As far as I know they only carry basic equipment to start treatment before a regular ambulance arrives. Another advantage is that, unlike motorbikes (which we've got too), rapid response cars or regular ambulances, these bikes can get into the train station without problems.

Some of you might also consider the regular ambulances a bit strange. Most ambulance services here use Mercedes Sprinter vans, but my area and I think 1 or 2 others use custom built vehicles, which are a bit smaller, but they did manage to fit all the necessary equipment in the back with quite a lot of space left.

Yeah... its kinda horrendous that they could something like that to a beaut Merc. However, the lightbar is kind of cool. Sci-fi. Alien eyes-type. Yeah.

Here's a very interesting Security vehicle:

"Great Scott!". Well you have got to catch those McFly and Brown fellows.

Cheers.

Kill it! Kill it with fire!

I don't understand why they convert those Mercs into... whatever that is. I know the Dutch use Sprinters and such, so why the need for those too?

If only I knew. Maybe they handle better because they're smaller? Anyway, this model does look better than the older ones. Just imagine an older Mercedes in the same shape, but with a big lightbar bolted to the roof, pretty much where the unit number is on this one.

Well we in Germany also do have these (or mostly used to have these because most of them have been replaced by Sprinters...) But I've personally never seen one of them in real life.
But to prove they exist, here some pictures:
