I don't remember anything about a hostage situation.

Domestic violence, it's the newest callout, doesn't rely on old, messy code, and is easy to edit/add to :P

Sam,can we get some more polite dialogues from partners.They treat me like those hatred peds like,"I bust punks like you all day" and what not... The only polite comment I've ever heard was,"You should be more careful,sir." when the suspect surprised me by suddenly taking out a pistol,but my partner shot him in the forehead before he could pull the trigger.I was really glad he was there.But it was the only situation I was happy to have him with me lol!!

Those are default voices in GTA, like the NPC's talking to each other, they seem appropriate considering it's supposed to take place in the US.

What? Abusing your senior like that? Lmao.

One more thing: How could we get access to the police computer in "added" police cars? I know LCPD:FR wasn't designed with anything like that in mind but I'd like to get that functionality in added ones,too.

Also, GTA is based around you being a mass murderer. Cop voices aren't likely to be sympathetic.

I was going to ask a question about how you deal with people who act like spoilt brats, demanding you work 24/7 on a mod they get for free, and when they find an issue in that mod they complain like somehow you have ripped them off and broken some kind of imaginary contract with them.

Most smack comments from people seem to come from those that cant even import a new skin let alone code a game and develop a mod from scratch.

I myself would not have the patience and would let rip on such ungratefull species but the last week or so I have seen your approach to such people in action. And hats off to you, each time these people are dealt with calmly and in a proffesional way.

So before it seems like I am brown noseing I will ask something else instead as that question has been answered by actions :)

We play LCPDFR for relaxation and fun in our spare time. What other games apart from LCPDFR do you enjoy and play in your spare time. Also are there any games over the years that have had an effect on the way you look at gameplay development, or what games do you think are responsible for breaking new boundaries ? Are there any mods that stand out that you have a ot of respect for ?

There are quite a lot of mods and modders that I have tons of respect for, Lt.Caine, PFCBarefoot, KevinDV to name but a few. As far as individual mods go, San Andreas Multiplayer is definitely one of the best mods ever made for any GTA game, and by the far the best made for SA. It's amazing how much they've managed to achieve with just memory hacking alone, and to have such a vibrant multiplayer community that is actually breaking it's online player count records as we speak, despite the fact that the game has been out for over 6 years is simply incredible. I'll give PPM a mention as well as I think that it actually gave us a bit more motivation back in the day, which got us to where we are now. Obviously there was a sense of competition between us both which was obviously a good thing for both mods at the time.

I recently took a year long break from SA-MP to focus on my studies, one year later and I'm addicted to it again.. I vary between roleplay and challenge map.

I don't see any signs of SA-MP stopping in the near future.

Its just a matter of dismay for me that Anderson used to think about it only in his free time.PPM had way to go,if only it was developed in a strategic manner--the exact way LCPD:FR has gone.Even I came to hear about LCPD:FR only through PPM.

ok maybe u could save me. i have the latest version of gta 4(1.0.7.0?). but i want to play multiplayer what do u download? what do i erase? wwhat do i do? D: im frustrated outa my mind, i never tried it since i got gta. do i have to downgrade or something? im also hearing stuff about needing a "dispatch assistance mod"

You don't have to do anything, just run the game as per normal, go into multiplayer and start a free mode match and then press alt-P as per normal to start the mod. I'm not sure how it effects other players in your game but you still get callouts and everything works like normal. Then you just wait patiently until you encounter a bug or a crash.

Also you'll want to change your text chat keys to something else because the default is Y and you need that button to accept callouts.

e: this is for LCPD:FR multiplayer. I haven't played a proper game with other people but this is all i've had to do to run the mod in multiplayer.

well what iwas told is that 1.0.7.0. disabled mp and i cant log in and the menu that says start, options, live etc. the social club light would always be on and thered be vids and stuff now nothing

Yeah, I have some really fond memories of SA-MP, and must've clocked up over 3,000 odd hours on it.
